I wonder why this is. We constantly hear rhetoric from redpill/manosphere types that "a woman's career doesn't matter" but I think it does to a lot of guys regardless what "pill" they identify with.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/01/25 12:32 AM

How about just having a first date that doesn't cost money? Ex: Walk in the park, coffee shop, museum.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/12/24 10:32 PM

Yeah, it's def not impossible. I personally don't want those things, but lots of women (especially younger ones do) and they're often in the same age bracket as these guys who say they want to fully financially provide for their wives. Growing up, my mom never worked and my dad's salary was able to provide for us. We went without some stuff but I'd say it was worth it. And also, the economy looked a lot different in the US when I was growing up vs. what it is now.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/12/24 09:50 PM

I think this can work in some countries outside the US. We have a VERY high standard of living compared to the rest of the world and a lot of the things we consider necessities are things that people easily go without in other countries.

1) It's not actually traditional. The "trad wife" stuff largely represents what women did in the 1950s. The 1950s was an anomaly in world history and prior to it, the majority of women always worked unless they were aristocrats. So, it's a bad historical context to start off in for one. 2) By putting themselves online, these women are not following their own definition of "trad wife". Women make money from making these tradwife vids and many of them have online shops, ebooks, courses, etc. Also,…

no, she's not a doormat which is my point. Redpill guys don't want her bc she isn't a doormat.

I never said she was a "high value woman".

Because it proves how much of a grift TRP is. If they genuinely believed in what they were saying, you'd think they would obviously date a girl that props up what they're saying and even goes as far as to put down other women who reject it..but instead they date girls that are sometimes feminists or who just don't really care about redpill stuff.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/24 12:20 AM

Pearl? Literally she's like at the center of TRP movement irl. It'd be hard to be redpill and NOT hear of her...how come more redpill men aren't dating "pick mes" like Pearl then?

I don't rlly keep up with their dating lives since they have a new girl every month it seems. Idk tbh. I don't like watching her. It's just odd that most redpill guys aren't trying to date girls like her when they champion the same talking points. Again, don't know. But enough to where you'd think some of these famous red pill guys would be dating them. And yeah she def does. And the terms "chad" and "stacy' are soo cringe..like have you not left high school?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/24 12:14 AM

Okay..then how come red pill men aren't dating Pearl if you like what you say you like? pearl makes it pretty clear that she agrees with all of your talking points.

Independent as in not depending on another human for income/sustenance/way of living. And you can be a good partner and be independent. They're not mutually exclusive..you can make your own money while still being in a loving relationship with someone. Idk why you're bringing up war and economic collapse (which we're arguably experiencing right now). Seems like kind of a strawman when we're talking about independence. Of course people would have to rely on each other more so in those events, but…

Exactly. She wants male attention..and redpill guys want girls that want attention and you would assume have the same beliefs as they do..

There's other women though who are physically attractive and who act like Pearl and have the same viewpoints as her, but these redpill guys aren't dating them...also the entire redpill movement is a grift, lol. It's all about materialism and external appearances.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/24 12:08 AM

Ah, so she's not your version of redpill, so therefore she's not actually redpill...her talking points align with all of the redpill guys...that's why they literally repost her stuff.

I know. That podcast is cancer. It should be removed from the internet. The only person on it I can stand is the Chase guy because he's a Christian (although there's a lot I disagree with him theologically on)..I wish they would just remake it with Chase and Brian having debates over topics instead of just a couple of guys yelling at college girls for a living. Albeit, I think it's noble what Chase is trying to do...Brian on the other hand, yeah no way.

How do you know, though? There's also other women that have her POV online and behave accordingly, but yet I don't see a line of redpill men lining up to date them. They rarely get with women that have the same views as them.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/24 12:04 AM

Absolute no. I want a guy that can think for himself. I'm not an infallible person. I'm going to make mistakes inevitably and poor decisions. I need someone who can call me out and tell me when I'm in the wrong. That guy you're talking about also doesn't seem very genuine too.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/24 04:52 PM

Lol, I would assume it's because they are into that whole "I can fix him" mentality. You wouldn't catch me dating "the wounded bird" in a million years over "the guy fortunate enough to fly". Nor would I be dating some successful dealer and/or conman.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/24 04:51 PM

Exactly, lol. Saying otherwise is a cope.

I mean if that's what you want, I can't stop you. I would just ask you to consider how compatible Red pill ideas are with biblical ones, though (based off your post history, it seems like you're a fellow Christian)...TRP ideology is about as compatible with Christianity as feminism is (horseshoe theory, really).
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/24 03:22 AM

Same here. I can't believe the Red pill men in this thread think that their way of thinking matches up with reality, lol.

But most families wouldn't be okay with their kids just sitting at home all day. I know I certainly couldn't do that. And that's not "living for emergencies". That's just being practical, lol. A lot of the TRP is just a fantasy world and not reflective of actual reality and/or human nature.

What’s the difference between having a career and having a job? I always thought those words meant the same thing.

Hit the nail on the head. Like I said in my comment, the kind of setup in which "Sarah" has is NOT the norm for modern, western society..
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/24 12:36 AM
2

.....Okay, first of all, if you said out loud the first two paragraphs of your comment to the average man or woman fifty years ago, they would look at like you had two heads.. I don't mean a woman that has a career and is a mother at the same time. A mean a woman that has a career, but when she has kids, focuses on that solely. Yeah I would agree that it's hard to do two full time things at once.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/24 12:35 AM

How is Sarah making a living, though? Is her family just letting her live there rent-free? And don't forget, if she doesn't have any education, even if she marries a wealthy man, emergencies can happen (I've seen this in my personal life) and not having a degree to get a job can be detrimental in a situation like that. Also, I specifically said my post was about women who don't devote themselves fully to their careers. The Jane girl sounds like it's her whole life.

No. I'm younger too, so if a guy my age had a body count in the triple digits (or really even the double digits) that would cause me to raise an eyebrow. I'm also Christian and I hope to marry a guy that is also Christian, so him being a virgin/having a low body count could be a sign that he takes Christianity seriously, which is a plus.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/23 10:56 PM

No. I'm Christian. If a guy told me he was inexperienced, that would be almost encouraging to me as it would maybe hint that he is Christian as well and takes his faith seriously.

I don't have a specific region/ethnicity of parish that I'm looking for. There's Russian, Greek, Arabic Orthodox Churches. Really, the ethnic identity associated with the name of a particular church usually has to do with the country the immigrants who built it here in the US came from. I've seen Greek Orthodox Churches near me with a large amount of english speakers and Americans.

Even though you said this is for men, I'm a woman and still wanna answer. Generally don't really have a preference. I'm not a fan of dyed hair that is a non natural color though (blue, green, pink, etc.) Same as last question. Don't have a preference Ideally, at least 5'10 I like muscle (not Arnold-like builds though). To me, Steve Reeves is the peak of male physique. It would be super unreasonable to expect guys (especially in the modern world with so many factors working against them) to have …
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/23 08:22 PM

Even if those things are guaranteed, a lot of attitudes in the "red pill sphere" are VERY anti-Christian in nature (promiscuity, viewing marriage as a transaction rather than a covenant, instant gratification). That guy you linked I would definitely reject. Not only is he physically speaking not really my type, but I'm not someone who likes to travel and be on the go 24/7. I doubt I have most things in common with him.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/23 12:25 AM

That’s true tbh. Men tend to be more conservative on average than women (just look at the last few presidential elections if only men voted vs. if only women voted).
/r/PurplePillDebate22/07/23 09:34 PM

I agree with what you said. Currently I attend a non-denominational church, so ig Im not really in one denomination at the moment
/r/PurplePillDebate22/07/23 09:34 PM

Rule 14. You lose.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/07/23 09:07 PM

The Orthodox don’t view the pope as an infallible authority and they don’t elevate any one man (except Christ of course). Also, the Orthodox Church is 1000+ years older than the Catholic Church and has remained intact ever since its existence
/r/PurplePillDebate22/07/23 09:06 PM

I don’t see the papacy as biblical and a lot of historical and theological research doesn’t support the Catholic church’s claim of being “The One True Church”. However, I still love my Catholic brothers and sisters in Christ and see it as a legitimate form of Christianity.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/07/23 08:58 PM

Uh…no? If I wanted someone to pay for my stuff, I would’ve listed an income range lmao. And Mormons aren’t Christians. May be time to brush up on some Theology and common sense.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/07/23 08:34 PM

This is the exact kind of comment I was looking for. I have a lot of attachment, personal and otherwise, to the US and it's the only home I've ever known throughout my life.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/07/23 08:10 PM

I'm in a non-dom church as of now, but am considering converting to Orthodox Christianity, so you may be right in that other parts of the world may be better in finding a partner in the same denomination.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/07/23 07:47 PM

It's a pet peeve of mine as well and it reaaaallly gets on my nerves.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/07/23 07:39 PM

Rip :( I love your flair btw though.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/07/23 07:36 PM

Someone who loves God above all else, has a provider mindset, and has a firm game plan. I also want someone who dates with the intention of marriage, not just to screw around.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/07/23 07:36 PM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
