Do you think that the average person cares what is correct and what isn't? If they're told something is true and it reassures what they already know, then of course they think it's true. Throw in a few cherry picked instances of it happening and bam. When you actively go against that, and you are in the minority, people won't care if you're correct. They're "brainwashed", if you will. It takes a long time for attitudes to change.

I see what you mean. I supposed my point is that it doesn't matter what the definition of hate is if people interpret mass criticism of women as hate anyway. Then of course, they don't interpret their mass criticism of men as hate. Some people are simple hypocrites.

I'm not attacking the sub. I'm just saying that there's a point where criticism turns into hate. For example, if you criticise all women, that's just hate, or at the very least, a gross generalization. Which people then interpret as hate anyway.

I think that's true. I think people get too "excited" then end up doing something they would later regret (in the terms of marrying someone too fast). You really need to just spend so much time with them. Live with them. Talk with them about anything and everything. Understand them. Not that I know from experience, it's just what I think.
