2	Stuck in an endless cycle of dead end jobs (due to my own stupidity) and I fucking hate it. I don't want to just survive anymore, I want to start living. Looking for advice. I had quite good basics from high school (I went to gymnázium), mostly in mathematics and informatics. Both of them are important when you are studying CS. There is mathematics and basic programming course in the first semester, which are the most important ones and which many students fail. I would definitely advise you to get some basic knowledge in (at least) those subjects, to make your start smoother and not to be overwhelmed. As someone who is studying FIT, be aware that this school is not easy to get into (admissions) and even harder to stay at, at least for the first semesters.
