Verbally, resorting to violence is a bit childish. And returning offense with offense when it comes to verbal/typed fighting is also silly. It's partially why people see Twitter as a shit hole. Only one recent post actually pushes against a feminist message and I agree with the sentiment. It was the one about sunglasses. That's a great post here, I think. That's an over simplication for it but an uncomfortable amount of the comments were acting very pro-rape. When that's not really what the story was about, the focus was a woman did something shitty and got hurt for it, and the op broke up with her. Yet the focus was on the rape part for most folks. But my 'ass' comment is directed at folks that are, in short, being an ass. They're not here to make a difference, or stand against something, they're here to hate women and harass them. I grew up in the Midwest where if she'd gone through with that threat there's a partial chance I'd be found in a creek somewhere and it'd show up on a true crime podcast as 'rapist gets what he deserves'. A lot of pro-rape opinions in the comments, people actually believing this horseshit story, and the rain of downvotes on anyone that doesn't fall in line and believe it word for word.
