One of us cooks while the other one reads. Then the one who was reading does the dishes while the other one takes over reading. Or something similar. Sometimes one of us would drive while the other would read out loud. Or we would snuggle in bed and take turns reading.

I don’t think it’s always a bad thing and can be sexy to help out? I’ve done that with my guy before. I’ve made out with him and whispered sexy things to him while he got himself off , at the very least

I’ve done that. And I’ve made out with him while he jerked off. Balance and moderation is fine. But any kind of language where it comes off as justified or obligated is where my hackles come up, you know? When I care about my partner, I want them to be happy. I’ve also had a partner where they literally told me that by having a girlfriend that was my purpose for being there. The argument came up because he wanted sex and he was annoyed I didn’t want any. There ended up being zero sex in that rel…

I apologize I didn’t notice the part about raping women

Everyone should apologize when they act inappropriately. That’s not something that should be noteworthy

Cranky behavior is the bullshit that I’m talking about. The sleeping through it is quite possibly due to pain and exhaustion from the cramps or undiagnosed endometriosis or anything else.

Balance doesn’t seem to exist on the internet

I don’t expect my men to be stoic, and I strive to be more so

I’m starting to believe you didn’t actually want a debate

You’re implying that a woman should “satisfy” a man because of his needs regardless of if she wants to or not. Because that’s part of the deal. It’s putting a woman into a situation where they are being pressured into doing it. It’s called “sexual coercion”

Yep, definitely this. If someone has issues with their PMS as far as emotional regulation to the point it is impacting their life they should be seeking a doctor for possible PMDD

Yes, this is what I think too If someone is having legitimate issues with PMS to the point that it is impacting their life then they may have PMDD and should reach out to their doctor.

Passive agression much?

Yes if I lose my temper I apologize for being rude, regardless of a hormonal shift or not. Being rude is something that someone should be accountable for. Regardless of sex or gender??

I’m a woman and I never blame shit on my period. I even gave my personal trainer a big discussion (at his request) about his friend going through a toxic relationship because his gf would always blame her behavior on her period. That kind of thing is not ok. Periods are not an excuse for poor behavior. If your PMS is so bad that you literally can’t control yourself then maybe you have PMDD; but PMS is not a reasonable excuse to be an ass to people at your leisure.

Lol, yeah i don’t have social media except for Reddit. I hope on this sub occasionally for the lols. I know it’s an echo chamber of some weird mindsets. Most people in real life definitely don’t think this way.

Gees, I go to church sometimes to help serve meals on Sundays and to make pies for fundraisers. Apparently Im supposed to be a virgin, a whore single mom, or something else I forgot. Wtf is this conversation
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/22 07:05 AM

Well yeah and the way they have us lay back in childbirth is only beneficial to the doctor, not the person giving birth. So that doesn’t help anything

I love doing the dishes with my SO. Either we take turns reading while one washes or one of us washes while the other dries.

Well, that eliminates the whole “get a hobby and meet like minded people” approach

I live in a small town with a limited pool using the apps. Apps are stupid. Get out there and get some hobbies! I love meeting people with similar interests

Same I haven’t been asked since high school. Not a single guy has asked as an adult. Not even in a weird indirect manner. Nowadays when I date someone new we are both pretty casual and upfront with what our needs/wants are and discuss hard limits and things before sex even happens

This is how I go about it. I ask them if they’re safe. Ask if they had other partners. Ask what kind of sex they’re into. I learned several years ago that I need certain things in the bedroom or I’m left dissatisfied. So I ask someone what they’re into (without asking for their history) and if it works it works! Idk why someone would even WANT to know what a persons specific history is other than to compare or be resentful or weird over it.

I gotta tell you I haven’t been asked about my history beyond my status since high school. I ask someone if they have other partners, I ask if they’re safe and I ask what they’re into so I have an idea if we will mesh well. I don’t even think about asking anything beyond that. One: I don’t care. Two: why the hell would I?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
