Keep doing what you are doing. Being yourself is the best thing ever. Those women probably aren't meant for you if they step back when you are being yourself. I'm a woman and I appriciate when a man is brave enough to show their real self.

Don't overthink it. There could be a million reasons why she texted the way she did. If you like her just ask her out on a date. Then you can get to know each other better. Overthinking always ruins everything ;).
