11	My unique problem hurting my case so much. What to do about it ? Just from reading what you've written here, I'd suggest you work on your English grammar before you worry about your accent. You can sound intelligent if you use proper grammar but have an accent. Speaking without an accent but using poor grammar almost invariably reflects poorly on the speaker. Examples from your post: "I was born in India but came to the US with my parents..." " I failed to get a girlfriend..." "One thing that is hurting me most is my accent..."
