I'm black and when they first showed that gillette commercial, I explained to people on Twitter that implying that men in general are bad and that the few "good ones" need to do more to fix the bad ones was insulting and VERY similar to how they talk about black men in particular. People who are upset about men being generalized and lectured to are often the ones who do the same thing to muslims and racial minority groups. Calling something anti-men or anything of the sort is very rarely, if ever, called anything resembling hate speech.
