From personal experience: Yes and no. My friends are very attractive. But the reason I hang out with them is because it's their friendship that's valuable to me (coincidentally that makes them even more attractive). But I'm not actively pursuing them, because we have an established platonic relationship and they're usually taken or they're part of the LGBT. If the opportunity arises where we're both single (and they're interested in men), I'd ask them out. If they say no, it is what it is. To ki…

Unironically go meet better women Women are the only ones that allow for emotional discussions while men get all squirmy
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/23 07:36 AM

This is why I say every loser man should build up platonic friendships with women before trying to brutforce dating Hell, all men would benefit from platonic friendships with women But nooo "muh redpill uwu, muh cant be friends with heckin femoidozinos uwu"

Two questions: Is your face cute? If the answer to this is yes, you're at least 1 or 2 points better looking than you think. Are you morbidly obese or just fat? If you're morbidly obese, forget men until you're at least close to a healthy weight. Not because "nobody wants you" but for your own good. If you're just fat, work on making a consistent workout schedule. You'll reach your goal eventually as long as you stick to it. All you really need is an hourglass figure to drive most men wild, you …

if he's hilarioud but fat I'mma stop you right there, it's the fat that's the problem Only when that is gone does the rest of that example become a problem If you're not physically attractive, your personality can't even begin to matter

Depends largely on where you live. In Eastern Europe that doesn't exactly track. All the niche weirdos want the classic jock archetype with a little nerdiness sprinkled in.

I will be shocked and possibly have to erect some sort of monument to him. But, I've met a lot of men and in the iconic words of a well know crooner, "I just haven't met him yet". Maybe it's a thing in nerdy circles, but every single guy I know wants a shelf to display his nerd shit at the very least, and a desk for all their electronics. Most want a poster or two or art of some sort. But that's the thing. Men look at what they need because having more causes only issues with minimal to no benef…

I see. I mostly disagree with you. I think the core issues here are: Your BF wanted the princess lifestyle, but bought into "masculine minimalism" let's call it, going against his own desires. There's a COLOSSAL difference between comfortable minimalism, which most men want, and matress-on-floor-only-food-in-fridge-is-beans type of minimalism. Men unironically don't need much. That doesn't mean we barely need anything.

Didn't you say in a comment you are around 40yo? It makes sense why you think he has no influence, you're out of touch with the younger generations. Cute little jab there at the end, shame it's objectively untrue. Tate set back the evolution of what men could be at least by a hundred years.

They absolutely work for women, if you know what you're looking for. If you're just browsing randomly, yeah they suck. Also, women are the selling point of the app, men are the cashcows.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/23 05:05 AM

Most women today are talking to several people wanting to date them.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/23 04:12 PM

Going outside. Every guy with a girl around his arm is conventionally attractive. And don't get me wrong I'm happy for them. But I'm years away from looking like that. Personality isn't gonna save me from being a fat bastard.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/23 04:02 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/23 08:34 AM

Maybe it's the country I live in (not America), but the stuff you said about male personality/nice guys absolutely does not hold true, not even among the alt/nerd/outcast crowd which I vibe in. Looks here trump everything else, after that personality becomes a thing that matters. Which is unfortunate because I live by the "be yourself" rule as being someone else is fucking tiresome.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/23 06:42 AM

You were still on competition with every other man that wanted to date her Your mindset is a good one to have, but the competition still exists regardless
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/23 06:37 AM
5

I'm not misreading anything, they keep telling me personality matters more than looks
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/23 06:35 AM
9

It's mostly women mostly who gaslight about this Until you push them on it, then they admit that looks matter far more
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/23 05:21 AM
17

This is partly true The caveat is that you need to be attractive for women to come (pun intended) But not needing women is a mindset all men should adapt
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/23 05:17 AM

The problem is that dating specifically is a competition whether we like it or not. If you're trying to date, you're competing.

/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/23 04:41 AM

Oh, that kind of negative. I thought she was just pessimistic.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/10/23 05:42 PM
1

Treating women like human beings lands you into their friend circle. There's nothing wrong with that, but of you intend to date them you have to break some boundaries.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/10/23 03:07 PM

I think the issue is that men feel romantic loneliness far harder than women do. One if the main pieces of advice coming from women is to just replace a partner with a friendgroup because for them it works. For men a friendgroup can make romantic loneloness easier to deal with, but there will forever be an empty hole in our life where we want a partner to be. Incel/blackpill guys tend to have neither so that loneliness festers into hatered, whether self-oriented or outward.

No your understanding of the concept of wanting is extremely limited. If a machine is programmed to want something, it will want it because it's programmed to do so. It's an artificially created want, sure, but from the machine's standpoint it is a want nontheless.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/10/23 11:48 AM
-2

Actually it is factually true. If you program a machine to calculate that 2+2 is 5, then it will do so. If you program a machine to care about a human, then it will do so. The fake part comes from the fact that it is artificial love created by a developer. But as far as the machine is concerned, it loves said human.

No sane guy would let a good woman go. If a break up happens they're at best single for a few months. Most of the women I hang out with fit the description. They are all taken or were single for a month or two at best. Their friends? All taken as well. My colleagues who fit the description? Taken as well. That's a total of 50-60 women right there, all in LTRs, some since they were 18 yes. The chance of meeting one of these women within the few months they're single and building enough rapport wi…

If you know women can have a high emotional IQ then you should know personality characteristics & the way they’re treated can mean way more to a lot of women than physical appearance. Which is the huge flaw in the argument that only tall muscular men can get with women. They only matter AFTER the man is attractive. And I never said it's just tall and/or muscular men, alt chicks tend to go for skinnier/more androgynous looking dudes quite often. There’s tons of studies that say women prefer dad…

Actually I think women have a pretty high emotional IQ. I also think that has nothing to do with what they're physically attracted to. And I've never said all women are the same. I said what they're attracted to is nearly the same, which it is. I didn't say it's a bad thing, I said it's just reality. There are outliers of course, but they are so unfathomably rare that they don't register as a statistic. I would gladly be proven wrong on this because that would only benefit me, but unfortunately …

Because they didn't realize the man would be bad to date until later on? I said objectively bad Think drug dealer, violent criminal, etc. Someone who clearly spells bad idea, not someone who is sneaky about it Because the pros of dating that man whatever they may be outweigh the cons? With the above mentioned framing, what would the pros of dating someone like that be? Other than the fact that their life is exciting

/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/23 03:56 PM

Whenever the question pops up "would I date me?" the answer is always Yes But the real question is "Would women date me?" The answer to that, I realized, is that I don't meet the requirements to be romantically interesting to a woman Which is kind of funny because I platonically get on very well with women It is what it is I guess

Wrong again Social death for men comes in the form of a false rape accusation When that happens men lose their job, friends, family, get a marked on the sex offender registry which prevents them from attempting to restart a life The man's entire being is forever marked as a negative Since changing ones identity isn't as easy anymore so literally the only choice left is to die unfortunately
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/23 04:24 PM

It wouldn't be so bad if they didn't retroactively start deleting comments that agree with OP that were made while the post was marked as a discussion Honestly, I'd argue CMV posts and the tag should be banned from the subreddit because the mods clearly don't know how to actually use the tag and the concept of CMV so it would be better to throw the entire thing out

You can philosophize, moralize or do whatever, I'm just saying what's happening on a basic level. Manipulative assholes get hated after the fact. By that time they've already gotten what they wanted so the hate isn't really relevant. It'll hit them later on, in their 30s and 40s, that being an asshole when their nature is the opposite is a burden to deal with. For now they're just happy they're getting attention from women.

I'll believe that when I see evidence to the contrary. So far, unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any.

Nah I'm here cause I don't look good enough to date and it's kind of funny and kind of sad seeing people still desperately try to understand the dating world when it's literally all just dicerolls.

Women think having 10% body fat is the new average for men. Women also think being skinny is the only thing guys want. Meanwhile the chubby nerdy chick can lock down 7/8/9 guy by wearing something just a slight bit more showoffy than her usual and caring about his interests.

Don't hate the player, hate the game. I think it's sad too, but as a guy I get it. Being a good, kind person gets no results. Being a manipulative asshole does. The boys are just adapting.

Dunno of you'll read this op but thank you for this This is exactly what men need in today's world, not Andy Taint's bullshit

Eversince I deleted my main account I was only lurking but damn you pulled me back in. A male slut brings the same danger of cheating and other issues to the relationship as a female one. A high count male is like being the top OF creator for women. Impressive, but not relationship material. Women have two body types they like: muscular and skinny. When they say they want a "dad bod" what they mean is Henry Caville (insert any actor you think is attractive here) but without visible abs. There ar…
