I Put My LVM Father In His PlaceI always read about Indian families (particularly the dads) being shitty towards their kids. V proud to see a woman actually standing up to that. Of course, he won’t change. Doesn’t mean you let him walk all over you. “Culture” is a term that’s used as an excuse when they know they’re wrong. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 18/07/21 11:28 AM
TRIGGER WARNING: Sexual harassment Vs girls under legal age Vs family honour - the tug of war that Desi families indulge inDesi women desperately need FDS. The only thing that seems to help is women supporting women in such times. Quietly drawing boundaries seems to shoo away the kinds of people that would victim blame. This ofc isn’t even possible in the rural areas. I’m personally quite embarrassed by what’s going on, but there’s no denying that things are changing, albeit slowly. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 15/06/21 03:47 AM
I have a dog, just bought my first car (cash), for my birthday, I’m gifting myself my dream engagement ring, I could get a house, but prefer traveling the world, and I never wanted kids. Basically, if a guy wants a place in my life, he has to be really good in bed. Don’t need one for anything else.Wouldn’t need anything else! Just you and your dog driving around, no kids or manchild stressing you out | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 28/05/21 05:22 PM

I used to and still feel scared of embracing my feminine side because it feels unsafe. Has anyone else felt this way?Happy to hear this! Go kick some ass (literally) | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 16/05/21 04:56 PM
I used to and still feel scared of embracing my feminine side because it feels unsafe. Has anyone else felt this way?Like another comment said, explore self defense. I became 10x more confident in myself after spending months doing kickboxing. I think it’s a combination of fitness, focusing on yourself and knowing you can defend yourself that helps immensely. I actually feel more comfortable wearing feminine clothes as well. I’d recommend this too. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 16/05/21 12:14 PM

Random scrote in a random sub went though my post history and wasn’t happy to see I post here! It’s just an excuse to insult you. If he’d know what you look or speak like he’d try and insult that too. Pretty hilarious once you realise it comes from a place on insecurity 😂 | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 21/04/21 06:02 PM
Attachment TheoryThis is weird but I pushed myself to view them the way a stranger would. Like humans with good intentions of course, but also deeply flawed. Somewhat like children, where their behaviour can be wrong but it’s hard to explain to them or make them change it after a certain point. I made myself look at them as people and not family I look up to. While I still love them, I don’t respect them or want their advice. It really helped me realise what I don’t want to be like. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 21/04/21 06:00 PM

FDS Newbie here. Wanted to share this. My ex used to respond like this to the point where I ended up crying while he tried to debate with me.I didn’t realise this was a red flag until way later. How weird is it that we’re taught to be OKAY with this lack of empathy? Doesn’t matter who it happens to. The fact that it is happening is scary enough. We don’t need people around us dismissing it while we’re terrified of becoming victims ourselves. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 04/04/21 07:31 AM
If your partner does this, RUN in the opposite direction. This is abuse and a power play.I had an ex that would always walk ahead of me when we were running errands while I was carrying heavy things. Never once offered to help or even stop so I could breathe. If I had FDS back then I would’ve left him two days into dating him lol. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 28/03/21 06:17 PM
Post-breakup clarityI fully expect him to reach out to you exactly when you start to move on. Please tell him to go to hell when he does. You owe him nothing. Really happy to see how your standards have gotten though! Feel better x | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 26/01/21 05:56 AM
Queen-to-Queen check-in: how does your gut feel around him? This isn’t related but something about queens calling me a queen. Makes me feel like a queen! | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 24/09/20 06:07 PM
Indian women should NOT marry: 1.3 billion reasonsMy parents went through a cliche Indian divorce. Mom eventually started earning more than dad, he got insecure, took it out on us. Now he looks at us like “that kind of women” purely because we never cared to appease his ego. He’s also now married to a woman that doesn’t work (nothing wrong with that) but she has zero female friends and believes a woman’s purpose is to pop out kids and be a maid! The attitude towards working women and just independent women in general is ridiculous here. No wond… | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 24/09/20 05:59 PM
Please speak some sense into meGet busy. You don’t need to start dating again but do things that remind you that there are more fish in the sea. | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 24/09/20 02:42 PM
I broke upMy bf (ex?) and I just broke up a few hours ago for similar reasons. He said he doesn’t understand why I don’t feel loved when he works about 12 hrs a day and gets so stressed about not working that he tears up. His work is NOT that high intensity and he takes on projects. When he doesn’t, he’s watching YouTube videos. Basically anything that isn’t his computer isn’t necessary. I feel like I’m in tatters but it’s better not to have someone at all than have someone constantly disappoint and dismi… | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 21/09/20 12:32 AM
