2	What logical fallacy is this? Dw, worldviews make anybody irrational. It's proof that they couldn't think it true. As for what I specifically would do (don't know your situation) I would ask them what kinds of studies DO count, see if their is a fallacy in the answer that you can explain to them. Also try to take anecdotal experience itself, and shoe how many people disagree with their side. Ask them about their anecdotal experiences and think about how bad it really was.
