Speaking as a guy who is in a three year relationship, and at university...currently going through a rough patch, it's not all sunshine and rainbows. Obviously noone is going to marry someone else if they don't love them, but stuff can turn sour sometimes. I'll surely be getting a pre-nup, because I want to make it clear to a woman that money has nothing to do with our relationship. If anything, I think it circumnavigates the issue of 'gold diggers', and allows a couple to focus on the relationship.
