1	Smart Kid Syndrome You confuse pride with being stupid. Not my problem. There are other weaknesses that have nothing to do with being stupid. Greed, Ignorance, Gluttony, ect. ect. People see these weaknesses as being stupid but they have nothing to do with stupid. Stupid is a lack of intelligence, literally being unable to get it. You can still be Stupid and be free of all these other negative qualities just as easily as you can be smart and have them. -6	Smart Kid Syndrome I just never met any of these people. If you are talking people with Asperger's that is a mental condition like autism. These people may seem smart pick up a book and memorize it in one night or complete a subject in half the time of a normal student but they lack the ability to emphasize, understand body language or emotions the way you or I do. 1	Smart Kid Syndrome I have met a few smart people myself in college and the smartest one I knew did twice the work load that I did. He would complete his work in one subject and go to the next with ease. On top of that he was Team Captain and starting forward on the basketball team. He was also probably the most social person I met in college. In general he was just better overall and smarter then anyone I have met since. -7	Smart Kid Syndrome People who tend to be smart(for real smart) also tend to be well rounded. They are good at everything. This is an article based on nonsense. My theory is the harder your willing to work the smarter you are. This applies to a general behavior that applies to scholastic performance, athletics and eventual job placement.
