There is controversity about it. In some people filler last a few months, in other it never leaves. But since my volume loss is quite moderate I would be happy if it lasted longer than expected.

Thanks for sharing. I am a cis female but been bothered by facial volume loss due to autoimmune disease. I think it indeed makes my face look gaunt and less feminine. I will have to get filler or fat transfer to fix it, it is less invasive than other stuff but still I wish I did not have to do it - other people around me, even skinnier, have fuller faces..

Which plastic surgery procedure(s) did you get, if I may ask?

They can cause facial fat loss in people with thin skin/features -> hollow face

I go outside, I live in a city where plastic surgeon is now a common gift for graduation. Even juniors at high school get filler with parents approval. The only thing I can do is adapt and give in as well.

Zillennial and older gen Z wear way less makeup than young/mid Millennials at their age because clean beauty is trending, but also have much more plastic surgery and/or injectables and much more advanced skincare. So even 10 years ago, you were able to be considered "pretty" by just being thin (not too skinny; now with Ozempic we are going back to very strict body standards as well), decent makeup skills and no major flaws. Now we are expected to have perfect skin (and not to cover it with obvio…

Sorry for the copy and past but: how can you and other women who are older now not aknowledge that beauty standards after covid raised a lot? Now average women unfortunately considered worse, most women who are considered 2025 pretty have some kind of plastic surgery or at least injectables... so even on Old it is not that easy for an average woman with no enhancements compared to 2015

Honestly there is nothing wrong with plastic surgery especially if you have objective flaws which can make your dating life or job prospects worse. I would save up for it (without obsessing about it: something like 25% of what I earn will go to the plastic surgery fund and then I will decide if doing it or not, and if yes, prioritize nose or jaw - one surgery at time is the safest)

Sounds like my ex, is he East Asian? We broke up because despite me being almost 10 years and studying full time, he always asked 50/50 when he had a career. No birthday gift, no Xmas gift... I could not bear it anymore

What if a woman was in the exact situation except she was 30 and him 40? Would you still suggest divorce despite her being older? Genuine question

Why bigger cities would be worse than smaller cities for 30+ single women? I thought the opposite was true

No, but he was 1) a total cheapskate even if he was almost 8 years older than me and even if he worked full time while I was a university student with only seasonal job sometimes) 2) criticized me for so many things. Started gradually as you explained. What I want to say is: if a man constantly criticizes you for the smallest thing it means he does not love you. I understand this sub says "never say leave as first option", but if a man behaves like that I do not think it is worth saving the rela…

May I ask you if you divorced him? My ex was like that too. I think he was also a narcissist because he always thought to be the best. This kind of relationship is not worth saving in my opinion.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
