We have that money at my school (albeit in very small amounts). And no one cares about whether women want men to date, at least in our admissions process. It's a public school, so very open admissions - but we have to go out and recruit men. During the big economic downturn of 2010 or whenever it was, lots of schools also slashed athletics (especially big ticket programs that were already iffy in terms of Title IX) and that didn't help in recruiting men to public schools. Happy to say that at my college, we did create programs and initiatives (don't tell anyone, but includes free textbooks) to entice men back into the classroom (and to support them in staying).

Demographics way off. And don't forget that children are not women or men. They are children, girls or boys. As far sexual relationships go, extremely old men and women play less of a role. Sexes divided up mostly equally. Subtract minors and people past a certain age when speaking of typical mating patterns.

Would love to see the actual citations/science behind urban dictionary. I am serious. There was a brief flurry of this kind of research (mostly not experitmental, mostly interpretive) in the 90's. But can anyone cite studies (we can study genes, for example, and also improvements in social standing sequentially gained by women over a lifetime)?
