She is poisoning mine too. I should have left years ago when they were young when she told me she would turn them against me and make them hate me so I die a lonely old man.

I wish you the best as well. I have found peace and joy in the simple things in life. I enjoy my gardening and watching the pollinators all summer. I recently watched a monarch caterpillar make a cocoon and just hatch the other day. It flew away today. I to am going to counseling. It helps to get it off my chest but that’s about it. What kills me is my kids don’t have long to graduate (grade 11 and 8 in the states) and now they are going to ripped from their school and relocated somewhere else m…

It’s the fact that I am on disability and am limited with cash now that I am forced to retirement pay. Can’t work OT for extra cash anymore just one measly check a month.

I’m definitely not on top of life. I just try to spend as much time as possible with them. Try to have quality time with my children. I need to start getting back in the gym again and back into my art work.

I did that while we were together and she complained. I got some work to do post cancer but I’m down 22 lbs since January. It’s just working around my disability and finding the motivation. It’s just so hard right now. Part of me wants to fight for this, part of me knows it can’t be saved and I have to let go.

I’m in the same boat. I can’t afford anything being disabled so I’m sitting here getting abused and drowning in this toxic environment waiting for the knock on the door.

That will be my wife when she serves me. I have nothing since cancer took everything from me. Now she’ll finish the job ☹️

I’m usually a heavy metal guy. It’s soothing to me. My big problems are my children, my dogs and other pets, and the fact that I am medically retired and unable to work. Those seem to be the main 3.

You do t go anywhere until you get served papers and talk to a lawyer. My stbxw does the same shit. I grey rock her and keep on living in my house until I’m served papers and the divorce is final.

Why don’t you have your own account? Why wasn’t the financial aspect taken care of at divorce. Kinda sketchy

I’m in the same boat… I’m not going to go date American women. Think they are the problem.

Really? Kids are a responsibility. Enjoy your time with them. Stop being selfish. If you can’t handle the responsibility you obviously shouldn’t have had kids. Man up. Be their FATHER and not a clown complaining on Reddit. Imagine what they would feel reading this.

My situation is a little different, but I haven’t worn mine in years. Partly because of my job and partly cause the marriage is shit. I’m stuck on disability and don’t have the money to just leave so I am waiting for the papers to get served to me. It’s either now or when the kids graduate but until then it’s separate beds and we ignore each other.

She’s not going for a run… she’s going to get run through. That’s child abuse if you ask me.

Yes. After comments she made to me trying to hurt me. Cutting me off of sex, and countless other things. Yes. I was even talking to a counselor today about things and she said wow how come you didn’t divorce 16 years ago. Good question… I should have.

I’d be sick as dog cold as naked man in Antarctica from chemo not wanting to do anything but sit in my chair bundled up with my winter jacket, hat, gloves and 2 pairs of knitted slippers on and she’d tell me to get up. The doctor said you would be fine just need an extra nap. I’d have to cook the family dinner cause she won’t cook and the neuropathy was so bad my hands would burn and curl up touching cold raw meat. She didn’t even go with me to ring the bell. She got into an argument with me bec…

I grey rock my stbxw. She’s petty and childish and I can’t afford to move out since cancer put me on disability. She does the same things to me. She even tries to get me to blow what little savings I have to keep me trapped.

If I knew then what I know now I would have left after the birth of my children. They would be much better off without the problems

100% … when I got cancer and had to medically retire. My “worth” to her is gone and she lets me know. Nothing is good enough. She treats me like a servant now. I get punished for having cancer. She’s about to be my ex. I can’t handle this anymore. She ignores me, she hides in the bedroom and stays connected to her phone.

Stay strong! Enjoy your time with her. Everything will work out in your favor when things get sorted out… think and stay positive.

You and me both. I’m on disability so I can’t do it myself. It’s horrible. Absolutely horrible

Guy did that where I used to work and ended up getting fired. Opened up this huge can of worms. Other guy found out reported it and a few other things. Work asked him about the other things and he told them no. Work drug tested him and he failed. Got fired for lying. Lost his wife and easy ass government job.

I guarantee my stbx is doing it too. Without a doubt. Marriage is such a joke and I wish I knew then what I know now cause I would have turn and run after my kids were born. They would have such a better childhood if we weren’t together.
