Humor. If he is funny and seems comfortable in his own skin he automatically becomes more attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 08:11 PM
1

It’s good stuff right?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 04:43 PM
2

Cop out. Put your big boy pants on and utilize the information we have on hand to influence your opinions on the matter.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 04:28 PM
1

So how many dates have you been on and where did you find your dating candidates?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 07:50 AM
1

So is a sense of entitlement, lack of empathy, and difficulty with criticism. You accuse me of wearing makeup but you don’t know me, meanwhile you’ve painted exactly who you are all over this thread
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 07:48 AM
1

Women wearing makeup isn’t narcissistic and your arguments crumble like that because your opinions aren’t based in reality
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 07:43 AM
1

But that affects other people
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 07:38 AM
1

So what other behaviors that don’t affect other people do narcissists exhibit?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 07:36 AM
1

But that directly affects another person. How is makeup like that. How does makeup harm you as a man
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 07:34 AM
1

Can you give an example besides makeup where this is true?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 07:32 AM
1

Do you really not know how many dates you’ve been on?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 07:23 AM
1

Makeup is a personal preference. How does this infringe upon you?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 07:00 AM
1

Again I find it troubling that you think you’re entitled to such a strong opinion without actually having the knowledge or experience to back it up. You cannot defend your stance with either personal experiences or statistics.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 06:39 AM
1

What people are you observing? Is this based on your personal life or social media?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 06:36 AM
1

Women use men and men use women. As adults we actually have a bit of influence over the quality of the people in our lives. You’re saying you’ve been on an untold number of dates and these dates have influenced your opinion on how often women go on dates for free meals. Except you can’t provide specifics on any of these personal experiences? If you are actually being taken advantage of I’m very sorry but I have to ask, what is the source of all these dates? Where are you meeting these women?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 06:33 AM
1

Can you give me an actual answer? I’m getting the strong sense that your whole argument is based off scenarios that mostly take place in your head
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 06:25 AM
1

Can I ask, how many dates have you been on?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 06:22 AM
1

So whether they use dates for a free meal it’s dependent solely on your choices
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 06:20 AM
1

How often have your dates been the result of women wanting a free meal
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 06:14 AM
3

You are correct https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nsfg/key_statistics/n-keystat.htm
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 05:43 AM

Where do you find people to date? Dating apps, mutual friends, workplace, bars?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 03:55 AM
1

Where do you find these narcissists?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 03:54 AM

What do you care? Has this impacted you in a meaningful way?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 03:52 AM

looks like we aren't so different after all! I appreciate the discourse and I especially appreciate you letting me back out when I realized I was being petty and irrational lol
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/23 12:20 AM
1

sorry
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/23 12:12 AM
1

Lol ok that made me laugh
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/23 06:37 AM
1

Nope, just stupidly arguing on the internet which brings us all down in maturity.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/23 06:34 AM
1

It’s fun to argue at first but then you have to sit here with yourself and wonder why you wasted all this mental energy on a person you don’t know about a topic that doesn’t affect you. Why do I do this
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/23 06:27 AM
1

I’m tired. What do you want from me? It’s late here.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/23 06:23 AM
1

To be fair you have been insulting me and my intelligence for a while now. We both suck. Of course we do. We’re on Reddit dude
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/23 06:22 AM
1

I’m just too stupid to carry on a conversation with someone like yourself. Excuse me. Have a good night
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/23 06:14 AM
1

Then why carry on this conversation? If I'm so woefully underinformed about this topic then there is no need for you, an intelligent Spaniard, to waste your time with me
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/23 06:07 AM
1

No I don't know anything about Spain. Your country has little to no influence on my everyday life so there's no reason for me to be as informed about your country as you, a Spanish citizen. Your English is incredible by the way, very good for arguing with Americans on an American social media platform. The weight of superiority must be crushing. How do you keep going?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/23 06:04 AM
1

I was thinking more along the lines of a misogynist. Calm down kid. I haven't even actually insulted you
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/23 05:47 AM
1

We? The royal you or you and the mouse in your pocket? By the time you graduate high school you probably won't even remember this conversation and thats a good thing. This is why teenagers shouldn't have unlimited access to the internet.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/23 05:39 AM
1

I'm not OP lmao. If you back up the OP's point it's not unreasonable for me to assume you agree with his point so inherently it is based on gendered stereotypes. This is the conversation we are having. Accepting support in times of need≠ being perpetually the one that is proped up and by the other person. Understand the difference. You literally said you would never let your GF pay for your stuff. This is a weird thing to say if you want us to assume you are in a healthy relationship. I unders…
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/23 05:38 AM
1

This guy has something else going on. The things you're saying aren't radical. They are very much common sense for most of us. There is an agenda and a ideology that he is not sharing that makes having this conversation impossible.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/23 05:24 AM
1

Mutual respect and a support system rooted in understanding and empathy are things you will not achieve in a relationship. Reddit cannot do anything about your disposition.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/23 05:12 AM
1

Where are you from
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/23 04:38 AM
1

The overwhelming majority of people aren't perpetually on an internship or perpetually injured. The truth is every single one of us is in a perpetual state of change, and hopefully self improvement. Those very specific and commonly occurring shifts require a support system if we want to be successful. That was not the point, and in no way i expressed this as a gendered thing. Women are incredibly entitled and take male providers for granted bro Part of empathy and compassion is looking for your p…
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/23 04:25 AM

Good for you! I wish you the best of luck
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/23 03:19 AM

And apply that same energy to your relationships am I right?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/23 03:03 AM
1

Extreme temporary conditions are not as extreme or temporary as you think. The unrealistic example is actually the one you outlined. A sterile scenario where the “good” husband is tirelessly working to support the “bad” wife who refuses to do her share of the house work. Relationships are made up of complex issues and empathy and compassion are necessary for a healthy relationship. Like I said, do you have a personal experience that’s influenced your opinion on this because it seems oddly specif…
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/23 03:02 AM

Are you talking about an experience you had personally? You’re immediately vilifying one of the parties involved when no one even hinted at that being a possibility. What do you think about supporting a husband as he makes his way though an internship? A wife after she experienced an injury, a spouse who is going to college. At what point in your brain did the fact that the two people involved love each other and want the best for each other leave your head?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/23 02:50 AM

Does the inability to earn more money automatically relegate an increase in physical labor to the party who is bringing in less money?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/23 02:25 AM

This is what a human relationship looks like when its based off respect and understanding. Take notes. Your calculator isn't the most important tool when talking about things like this.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/23 02:23 AM

Do you think money is equal to effort?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/23 02:20 AM

I'm sorry to say the jig was up the moment women got in the workplace and realized how much fucking off occurs in those typical 8 to 10 hour work days. Being a provider just isn't that difficult to do and certainly no excuse for not helping around the house and paying attention to children. Chef's kiss
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/23 02:10 AM

Here's why I have such a hard time with these types of posts. What women are saying this? Are men actually contributing a significantly higher amount to the household income to account for lack of domestic chores? Do you have numbers on this, are you informed about this enough to have an opinion at all? Are you sure this isn't based of an argument you had in your head?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/23 01:43 AM
1

I gotta admit that I have run into this scenario so many times. I will be telling a friend of mine how cute a guy is and when we go to look at his picture she gives me that look.... Every time. I am attracted to the guy because of several reason and none of them can be represented in a picture.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/23 01:03 AM
2

I don't think you are exaggerating. You're experience is valid. I think that you should try not to worry about their attitudes. Its much easier said than done but just try to remember you have every right to be there. It is your school too and you are doing nothing wrong.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 05:44 AM
1

I hate that, I don't think you should have been made to feel unwelcome in any space let alone your own school and university. Are you still in university?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 05:35 AM
1

I wasn't talking about online interactions, I mean can you tell me about a time you've been made to feel this way? Who are these women? They sound awful.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 05:23 AM
1

Do you have an example?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 05:17 AM
1

ya I don't think there is anything wrong with it, but any social media outlet will showcase the worst people because that's what gets attention.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 05:09 AM
1

This story actually makes me realize that I could be maybe think a woman like me but she is just on "survival mode" thinking I would hurt them. And I personally don't want these type of human beings around me. This is why it's important to establish relationships first. Friend groups and social circles will help with this fear. This would also help with the negative light that social media paints on everything.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 05:08 AM
2

No you should do it. I don't see a problem with it at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 05:05 AM
1

thank you!
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 04:59 AM
1

Well I personally feel fully convinced so job done. Where are you sitting?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 04:56 AM
1

You think arguing with a man child over nothing boosts my ego? This is purely because I don't know when to walk away from an argument and is doing nothing to boost my ego. I guarantee you that sir.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 04:52 AM

The demographics of PPD shift constantly, and downvoting can drive away minority viewpoints. This makes the community less interesting, creates less opportunity for debate, and destroys the neutrality of PPD. As a result we ask that you not downvote while on this subreddit. I know you disagree with me but .... tsk tsk
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 04:49 AM
1

Well you aren't so it's not like either of us should be surprised
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 04:42 AM
1

I think you'll be ok.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 04:41 AM
1

and then that man says....no that's definitely a lie, now excuse me, I have a poker game to get to.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 04:39 AM
1

Except it's like a businessman trying to tell a man who refuses to stop gambling and will not take the time to educate himself on how to manage his money how to be successful.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 04:35 AM
1

I don't think its a waste of my time but mainly because I engage in discourse. I asked what we can do to solve the problem and you say.... it doesn't matter because WoMen wouldn't even want to. Are you trying to be a troll?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 04:33 AM
1

I'm just saying the attitude in general is not helpful if you want a long-term relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 04:28 AM
1

Don't you think you can do these things and also be genuine? My boyfriend and I met at the gym and we still work out together and have all sorts of dates that revolve around our common interests.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 04:26 AM
1

I admit that I have privilege in some areas but not in others.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 04:23 AM
1

So you have nothing to contribute, ok thanks for wasting my time
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 04:16 AM

Why even be on a sub that encourages male and female discourse if you hate women? I'm not sheltered but I would question a guy that shows up to a Mexican restaurant on his own while loudly complaining about how much he hate Mexican food.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 04:12 AM
1

The reason they say this is because you will find more success in dating if you focus on yourself. Yes those people have found a ton of satisfaction in marriage and now they're telling you that the relationship happened because they were focused on their own achievements and personal connections happened as a result of that.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 04:09 AM

So get off purple pill and chat with your red pill buddies, this isn't the place for you
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 04:04 AM
1

Most of the things we strive to achieve in order to attract women, we know we ourselves wouldn’t really care about So you don't really care about these things?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 04:00 AM
2

Ok so you are seeking things that improve your quality of life and you don't think women do this as well?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 04:00 AM
1

you think I should get fake eyelashes and fake boobs?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 03:59 AM
1

I wasn't addressing salary I was addressing his comment " Most of the things we strive to achieve in order to attract women, we know we ourselves wouldn’t really care about." What are you talking about? Do you present yourself honestly when trying to build a relationship? Like do you think honest has any value in this sense?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 03:58 AM
0

What do you mean practicing letting go?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 03:47 AM
1

What do you mean by valuing masculinity again? Make sure men are the providers in a relationship?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 03:46 AM
1

To be fair, I have no idea what you can find on OF so I'll give you that one.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 03:40 AM
2

How old are you if you don't mind me asking?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 03:37 AM
1

Is there an experience you've had that made you feel this way?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 03:36 AM
1

NUH UH!
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 03:35 AM
2

Ohhhh ya that sucks. There are companies in Japan who have paid actors who you can rent that will be your wife/family member for the day but I am willing to bet you aren't in Japan.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 03:35 AM
3

I don't know why you are giving this information away for free.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 03:33 AM
6

That's a fun hypothetical but I don't think that example makes quite the case you think it does. You see when providing a hypothetical you have to make it at least remotely realistic and relatable, for instance, could you support a family without taking your wife income into consideration?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 03:32 AM
2

Do you have any female friends?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 03:24 AM
1

You’re talking about older single women and single moms as if they exist in a bubble. Do you really think their circumstances are overwhelming due to them just being inherently bad people?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 03:22 AM
5

So like let’s say he enrolls in dance classes to pick up a chick. It works! Now he has a woman who really loves dancing and is excited that they met at a dance class so they can keep dancing together. But he doesn’t like dancing, he only enrolled to get laid. So does he continue doing something he doesn’t like to keep her happy or does he tell her it was all bullsh*t after he gets what he wants?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 03:12 AM
1

What things are you trying to achieve that don’t matter to you but a woman would be attracted to it?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 03:09 AM
3

I don’t have fake eyelashes or fake boobs. So do I deserve someone who is being honest about their values?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 03:07 AM
1

Most of the things he is presenting to women are based on values he doesn’t hold.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 03:06 AM
0

What can we change about society to help with this?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 02:45 AM
2

When talking about the choice to do what they want while also being encouraged to be a mother, what about todays society support her choice to be a mother and wife?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 02:29 AM
4

The truth is none of these guys would find success in the dating market their pining for. Wherever you go, there you are
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 02:23 AM
1

If you could name one or two values from both modern and traditional dating that you’d want to see preserved what would they be
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 02:21 AM
2

So you want a hybrid of modern and traditional that had absolutely zero influence from feminist ideas
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 02:15 AM
3

So your tactic to dating is to be disingenuous?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 02:13 AM
6

No it is the point. If your a man who wants a stay at home mom, her salary doesn’t matter. If your a man that wants a partner who will contribute financially to the relationship it’s a factor.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 02:12 AM
2

Wow primitive countries. So you want to go back to a time when women had more traditional roles. You know that would mean that their family has to basically choose you as her partner. Would a traditional family choose you?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 02:08 AM
3

I think the same thing about men
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 02:06 AM
5

Ooops looks like you’ve unintentionally stumbled across the core problem with online dating, your social circle is incredibly valuable when it comes to finding a long term relationship
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 02:03 AM
6

So your intentionally looking for a woman who doesn’t value or share your interests?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 01:59 AM
3

Does that man want a woman to be a stay at home mom?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 01:58 AM

Beautifully said. I think the whole idea of high value and low value is purely due to inexperience. The human connection is beautiful and should take precedent over sexual or material gratification. But the only way to learn sometimes is through living.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 01:56 AM

Interesting, to be honest this sounds like the same factors that go into a female selection of a male
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/23 12:52 AM
1

So your saying you’re getting laid nonstop
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/23 11:51 PM
3

I’m glad you think they’re therapeutic. The majority of the men on this site think that talking to women outside of a relationship is pointless so I thought your statement was particularly funny in that context.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/23 10:21 PM
-1

Ya most men would be required to speak to their girlfriend/wife. It would be weird not to, what about other women? Platonic relationships. How often?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/23 10:14 PM
2

How often do you have conversations with women in your daily life?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/23 10:07 PM
1

Ohhh I see, thanks!
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/23 10:04 PM

SMV?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/23 10:02 PM
3

I agree! Being in a social setting also genetically wired in us which is why loneliness is such a devastating condition. While engaging in social groups we converse, build trust, teach and learn things about each other and we also learn things about social norms. This is why when a random young man that is not part of a social group tries to approach a woman in a random place and strike up random conversation, she is genetically wired to see this as strange. Meanwhile males who are known to her …
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/23 09:33 PM
1

Do what you want. Be nasty and disrespectful to women that’s your choice. If anyone ever questions it in person you better let them know about all these beliefs you have and if you ever date a woman don’t you dare lie to her about how you really feel about her and other women. This is such an important issue, go ahead and start vocalizing out loud to your coworkers friends and family if you haven’t already.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/23 07:35 PM
2

Ya that’s super awkward for you. I would totally feel the same in your position. This actually might need a male perspective because even just imagining the situation I feel like a deer in the headlights. Like you don’t want to embarrass her but she is literally grinding against you. I legitimately don’t have advice for you but I can offer you empathy. You are valid for feeling uncomfortable in this situation. Sorry if that’s not helpful!
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/23 09:06 AM

How are your dance skills?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/23 08:56 AM

Lol say this to one of their husbands in person. You might not think that women are people but the men they’re married to do. I’d kill the be a fly on the wall he day you act like this to a woman in person then have to deal with her husband.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/23 08:53 AM

Do you have a wife currently?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/23 08:40 AM
