| 1 | They know.As a guy, I have a habit of unconsciously raising my voice when talking about something I'm passionate about (movies, music, books, etc). I don't do it to intimidate anyone or in an attempt to gain power or what have you. I don't always realize that I'm getting loud/intense. If the guy doesn't seem like a douche and is just being a bit loud, it might not be a bad idea to just be straightforward and blunt. "You're getting a bit loud/intense. Please tone it down."
