The Mid-East is actually both a MRM and FRM problem, stuff like Burkas are based on the idea that men are sex crazed and will hump any women they see
/r/MensRights08/08/15 07:52 AM
2

As well as being into MRA I was also involved with my college's LGBT support stuff. I just want to say that there is MRA overlap, especially as far as sexual health support goes, there are more services for women then men with HIV/AIDS for instance
/r/MensRights08/08/15 07:51 AM
3

I asked because I was told by someone that MRAs are homophobic right wingers
/r/MensRights08/08/15 07:48 AM
1

Er no. The girl was so incredibly stupid since the alleged day of the incident she was on holiday and in a completely different country. When the defendants found out about this it was thrown out of court and perjury charges are on going. She admitted about lying btw
/r/MensRights08/08/15 07:20 AM
1

No gender should have a privilege over another The UK government is trying to encourage men to report rape more
/r/MensRights08/08/15 07:13 AM
2

Its more than just Ireland, the Celtic Britons were subjugated by the Romans, Vikings and Anglo Saxons then finally the Normans. Even far later white people were abducted from seaside towns and ships by Arabic slave traders .
/r/MensRights07/08/15 11:38 PM

Or Female trash collectors Just saying
/r/MensRights07/08/15 11:35 PM
3

I feel really sorry for any boyfrends/husbands/sons you have
/r/MensRights07/08/15 11:33 PM
2

Care to elaborate? Or are you out of arguments now?
/r/MensRights07/08/15 11:32 PM
2

Since you are accusing MRAs of hating women, by the same logic you obviously hate men since you clearly think we are all sex crazed, rapist, child murders
/r/MensRights07/08/15 11:31 PM
1

Yeah, they randomly asked me for really personal stuff
/r/MensRights07/08/15 11:29 PM
3

The amount of children who have been handed over to men only to be murdered in revenge? That never happens and you know it. Regarding your attempted rape, did she have a strap on? How did that work? None of your fucking business.
/r/MensRights07/08/15 11:26 PM

Advantage of being gay I think
/r/MensRights07/08/15 11:24 PM

delusional I can say the same about you retarded Wonderful so you are now having a go at people with mental difficulties too young to know any better Could you be any more condescending ? or have no female friends My best friend is a girl, as are both of my flatmates. Said best friend is also a MRA
/r/MensRights07/08/15 11:23 PM
3

Yes but I believe the accused should have anonymity as well as the alleged victim. I am going to tell you a story, I actually know someone who has accused falsely of rape, he was the son of a multi millionaire so this girl he never knew out the blue accused him of raping her at some party. Fortunately he was found not guilty since the girl's "evidence" was complete fantasy. Anyway it got on TV and the local news, being found not guilty didn't stop a gang of people kicking the shit out of him any…

I don't victimise my self, you don't know anything about me. Do you know what you remind me of? Those homophobes that spent the best part of the last 2 years trying to fuck up my rights. Seriously you are no better than the likes of Pat Robertson or Rick Santorum
/r/MensRights07/08/15 11:17 PM
2

Really, so as the privileged white male in this story, you're empathising with the black man? Because white men have always had to suffer slavery, the world has been harsh on them eh? Are you some form of racist or something? I have no idea why you have brought up racialism all of a sudden My point is that fact that it is rare. No its not rare. The system stinks so much that the vast vast majority of male rape victims are too ashamed to come forward, the UK government admits as much Research sug…

What in God's name are you on about now? No it doesn't upset me, what does upset me is not getting taken seriously when I went to the cops about an attempted rape, my cousin being denied custody over an alcoholic violent women over a false claim.
/r/MensRights07/08/15 11:08 PM
2

It isn't at all. Most people on this sub are actually egalitarians who want equality for all. The same cant be said about people like yourself
/r/MensRights07/08/15 11:06 PM
5

You are not defending yourself. You are just trolling
/r/MensRights07/08/15 11:03 PM
4

No but someone reporting a false rape will ruin an innocent person's life
/r/MensRights07/08/15 11:03 PM
2

It just doesn't seem that way, does it? As it seems to be a reactionary movement to women trying to fight for their rights. Oh please, you want to bring media perception into it? Tell me what do you think about feminists shouting down any dissenting opinion, setting off fire alarms, going to conferences and demand that gay men should stop stealing black culture? Seriously modern feminists are a laughing stock at least where I am It would be a bit like a white man claiming that white men also go …

/r/MensRights07/08/15 10:56 PM

Its considerably more rational than modern feminism which has turned into a echo chamber where obnoxious people with a victim mentality can winge about non-issues

The right to be paid equally You have that the right to expect not to be raped in a place of learning Again you have that, rape culture isn't a thing. Also what about boys being abused sexually by teachers who get away with it the right to not expect sexual abuse in the work place, the right to not be abused at home Again that is a problem for both genders. Christ what has any of this got to do with MRA specifically, I can honestly not think of a single time when MRA people have caused women to …
/r/MensRights07/08/15 10:55 PM

We aren't against women fighting for their rights at all. Neither do we hate women. All we want to do is equal rights for both genders, there are certain times when a man is discriminated against over a women such as domestic abuse and prison sentencing . Also in the US at least there is more male victims of rape compared to female victims of rape.

How is that even legal July, a Smith County judge sentenced Josten Bundy to get married to his 19-year-old girlfriend as part of his probation, which also included writing Bible verses and getting counseling Surely that is against state secularism ? I would take the 15 days to be honest
/r/MensRights07/08/15 05:59 PM

It reminds me of the UK prison regs. Male inmates have to wear a god awful uniform that makes them look like football hooligans from a 1980s movie and women get to wear their own clothes
/r/MensRights07/08/15 05:58 PM
1

As a gay white male do I have to pay them to slap me?
/r/MensRights07/08/15 06:33 AM
12

Yeah, the reason why I have decided to become a young MRA is mostly down to personal experience, I was once sexually harassed and near assaulted during my first time in a gay bar. I went to the cops and security and nobody gave a damn, a google for a service to speak to about were all women's services. Then you have how in England men who have separated are treated, stories of abusive and alcoholic mothers getting custody over a father who has a stable job and can care for the kid better, mother…

Meh Corbyn won't be PM. He will become leader but his actual MPs hate him, they are already planning a vote of no confidence in him so I can't see him even being leader by the end of the year.

The Greens have jumped off the cliff for a while. Their ex leader was actually semi decent (she has the right intentions anyway), although that Auzzie, Man hating bigot they have now is god awful.

I'd rather get a second opinion that waste time and money though
/r/MensRights30/07/15 11:40 PM

I was referring to her argument about the military just being a macho exercise for men. Historically it was hell on Earth. Also I was trying to be clever and eluding to the fact that if it wasn't for the sacrifices by servicemen in the past century she wouldn't have the freedom to post that tripe

They tried with ultrasound and x-ray when I was a kid. Apparantly it could be around the hip, area or something which means that it wouldn't show on an x-ray that well

My ex is cut and to be honest it did mess things up in the bedroom (gay guy here), there are bits that you can do with a natural penis that are awesome that just don't work if its mutilated that way. You hear the odd Rabbai and Imman try and justify it because its "healthy" but that's bullcrap, its not. If we weren't meant to have a foreskin then we wouldn't have evolved one, simple as. I can relate a bit with cut guys, I have had a partial one as a result of what I see as pointless surgery to t…

There seems to be this doublethink going on in the UK. The ones who are claiming that 16 year olds shouldn't be allowed to sign up also want to give 16 year old the vote and cite this as a reason why they should. They are either kids or adults not both

I know but Uganda has come close to having a majority Christian country which has a capital punishment for consensual homosexuality. In England at least the vast majority of Christians are actually really liberal, I am 1/2 considering joining the local church which has said that it plans to have SSM soon for instance
/r/MensRights10/07/15 06:34 PM

Hmmm I hate to break it to you but women are perfectly capable of murder; any human is, we just have limits some more than less. I know that I could be pushed to murder if someone seriously hurts someone close to me or ruins my life

What about the young men who were conscripted and died in the trenches ? I am 24 and already I am older than most of the men buried in war cemeteries, if it was 75 years ago I would have been drafted and sent off to France or somewhere to fight. I am not saying that women didn't die in the war they did, in the UK they were drafted and worked in munitions, aircraft factories etc. which were the main target of the Luftwaffe bombing campaigns but its hardly acceptable to say that they were the prim…

I don't even think its even feminism anymore. Historical feminists like the Suffragettes (women I admire) never acted like this. These modern lot just seem to want attention, they are pretty narcissistic, I think they are actually an insult to the legacy of the women who actually fought inequality in the past

They are the only people with any meaningful support who actually bother to try and be remotely left-wing. But my actual favoured party are the Scottish Greens. I am a lefty but I hardly want to support a party that like its England version is openly misandrinist. I mean they want to give women "community" sentences due to a "women's needs" but are happy to throw a man into some incredibly notorious jails for the same crime. How can you like them? They are the most two faced party out there. They claim to be progressive but condone backward behaviour and ideas if a donor has them. They have an incredibly bigoted support base (look at how Kennedy was treated) and they do things like that. This isnt the first time the Justice Secretary in Scotland has done something moronic, what about letting the Lockerbie bomber go?

Who is surprised? the SNP claims to be "Progressive" (Whatever the fuck that means) but at heart they are Nationalists, a party of bullies (who harassed Charles Kennedy right before his death) , compulsive liars and a downright deceptive leader who is probably sniggering at this crap.

Meh Bindel is a feminist who claims to have chosen to be a lesbian. When someone says that by definition would make her bi (since he chose not to go with men which is a choice that actual homosexuals don't have) she freaks out and goes on the defensive. A lot of LGBT people can't stand her as a result, lord knows how she still gets a column

The guardian has gone off the deep end a while ago. It recently posted an article calling for men to be banned from university management The actual lefties like me read other things (mostly online now) or the independent. Its readership has plummeted to be honest

Yeah the NUS morons (A group that I reject as a true union since they don't actually represent anyone) have tried to ban drag on campuses and gay men "appropriating black women" to much jazz hands. They obviously have no understanding of what drag is, what gay culture is (I actually reject the idea that we use AAVE, we have our own dialect and slag that were used so we could identify each other without people realising) Being crude as a bottom am I mimicking women who have sex? This will be the …

Gay men have been beaten up (happened to me in school) even murdered by homophobes. Lesbians seem to get objectified which probably isn't as bad to be honest

I used to be a male feminist since I used to believe in gender equality but eventually I realised that neo-feminism isn't interested in that and I started to realise that men are disadvantaged in alot of ways as well and they need help to reach equality

From what I have seen MRAs do not deny rape at all, they actually want the definition of rape extended to protect everyone. Also since MRAs also try to raise awareness of false rape accusations (these can ruin someone's life) that indirectly protects rape victims since people will be more likely to believe a genuine victim I am LGBT and haven't had any problems with them so far. I don't know where you have gotten that idea from, it sounds like you saw one quote from one person and assumed all MR…

Okay, but still it won't be powerful (?) as an orgasm experienced by someone who hasn't been cut
/r/MensRights26/04/15 04:07 PM

So they cant orgasm from masturbation? God thats awful ! I always thought the g-spot is behind the prostate, well at least for a gay guy it is :-) Its stuff like this that makes me an atheist, if it wasn't for stupid medieval crap like the Abrehamic religions then it wouldn't exist. What really pisses me off is that they claim it to have medical benefits

This is like one of those disgusting scandals you hear about crank Chinese remedies (like the time they tried to export ground up dead foetuses) I would love to know who on earth came up with this crap. I mean its not a normal mental thought chain is it ?

Feminists will tell you MRAs don't like teh gheys I do find that amusing, the amount of times that I have heard about feminists who "chose" to be lesbian (if they chose then they are bi by definition) I mean I didn't chose to be gay I just am. You would think that gay guys would be good MRAs I mean I find the male body beautiful , I find stuff like circumcisions to be really ugly etc.
/r/MensRights26/04/15 07:08 AM

I do accept that gay guys do have a reputation for being more sexually active . Which granted is true since men are more sexual than women (we don't have menstrual cycles for start) But that doesn't mean we won't have sex with anyone, I didn't want to have sex with a creep who was old enough to be my Dad. Consent is IMO a basic human right and any temp to deny that rate to anyone is abhorrent .

I think the NUS frustrates everyone, its run by a load of crackpots. I don't think its a true union, they are obsessed with discount cards and stuff and not representing students. I got pissed at them so I ended up joining the communist students. I do like them alot, especially since they were the first refuge for LGBT students (the movie that came out last year about LGBT students and Welsh miners, they were all communists)

In the UK (England at least) due to the definition of rape which involves penile penetration only men can rape Although we are okay on some things, rape is very very rare in prisons over here

I never said they weren't, I just thought being gay was relevant to my experience Thats another thing about some Feminists that get me annoyed, you have the likes of Julie Bindel claiming that she chose to be a lesbian and now she shouts down anyone who says that she must be bisexual for it

I have brought it up a couple of times, I did mention this friend of mine from School, he and this other girl were adopted by a wealthy family (their adoptive parents are great people) and he was doing alright with them. Until he was 19 when out of the blue a girl who was pretty pissed (it transpired) claimed he had raped her, it got all over the news, he had a spell in remand custody , went to trial and lo and behold the girl was making it all up. He had his life ruined over this and is only ju…

BA level, although I did a MSc in a related field but its not strictly psychology anymore This idea of an assesment tool is worrying from an ethical point of view, they don't even use these to diagnose depression anymore (they can be an indicator but thats it)

I know its annoying Buffy and Firefly are some of my favourite shows but Weadon can be a moron Freud's ideas are discredited today anyway its ancient as far as psychology goes

The UK doesn't have selective service, however the state can still draft men 18-40 if they feel the need to. We dont have to sign up for Selective Service like the Yanks do but with mandatory voter registration etc. its very easy for the state to know where people are to draft them if they needed it. I remember someone saying that women who are raed can get pregnant by the rapist which is horrible , and that raped men don't have the same level of consequence. But I would imagine catching a life …

Why are people surprised at this? Anyone remember Buffy? During the second season Angel has sex with her and this triggers a curse stealing him of his soul and turns him into a serial killing super vampire. It gets worse when you realise that the curse forbade him from "experiencing true happiness" which is depressing because it must mean that Josh Weadon thinks that a guy is truely happy when he gets to bang a superhuman

So I have studied psychology, I honestly wonder what concepts they are applying to justify it (if any) I have had community service for drug possession in the past (just weed), does this make me immediately guilty of a hypothetical future drug crime? Also what about double jeopardy ?

See thats why I am anxious, I am 100% behind gender equality and for some reason the impression I have had from people is that MRA is very much for male superiority (not saying that is true or anything but if you look it up on rational wiki or PZ Myers (someone who I once had a lot of admiration for) then you see people claiming that)
