Common sense for someone who knows and understands technology would tell you that yes, putting anything private on the cloud is negligent because you don't have control over it but peole don't understand that. They see the "files" on their screen and they feel that it's there to be moved around and deleted (or "archived") at will. Remember that a lot of people (a majority of US citizens) do not understand how any of that stuff works (and cloud services are often advertised as secure)! It's sad h…

Sometimes I forget that not everyone smokes weed and when I heard a question like "What states completely legalized it?" it makes me do a double take. I was scrolling at speed and had to stop and come back to find this comment. Nothing against you, just glad to be there when someone learns that it is actually 100% legal in Colorado and Washington state.

Really its where you work and what the culture is. Relaxed dress codes in the tech industry have left the realm of "maverick". If one were working in finance and made that decision, I do agree it would be called non-conformist (perhaps even maverick) and I'm sure it would be very difficult to find any work at all (I'm in talent acquisition, btw). (Some) Customer facing jobs are different and I would agree one has to look better for those but we can't teach every child as if they're going into a …

Comparing school to a career or a job at a large company is wrong and you know it. Certainly school should help prepare kids for the real world but in the real world you can wear whatever the fuck you want. You may not be able to get a job if you only wear pajamas all the time but there's not going to be a principal walking around making sure you're sticking to a "dress code". I also don't understand how you equate a sense of decency in public to the wearing of pajama pants. It takes just as lon…

Suit and tie is also the dress of the rude businessman and conman. Teaching our children that in a professional environment one would dress more formally is a given. I think most kids don't need to be taught that (they will see it on TV, through their parents, etc) and will understand it. I don't see how wearing jeans and a sweater to work would make one a maverick nonconformist. Different businesses have different styles. If you're there to do your job and you aren't customer-facing, the clothi…

Haven't you heard that people learn better when they are comfortable and relaxed? You can be a serious learner that is also comfortable and relaxed. People don't suit up for exams. The baseline standard for high school is whether you can get along with people, do your work and show up. I don't see how clothing comes into that unless it is distracting or offensive to other learners. In the real world they can wear whatever they want.

I argue that the children dressing like shit will either learn or drop out of the workforce. The school is not there to regulate what they wear because real life will not do it. If they don't dress professionally, they aren't going to get a job in a professional environment, so the point is moot. Also I don't really see how clothing choices determine self respect. Certainly if ones clothes are dirty or torn, that applies. Does dressing up in a suit and tie every day mean you respect yourself mor…

Yea and those same kids will be paying for your social security despite the fact that its very likely they will not have a social security to call on in 50 years. If they dress like an asshole, they will very quickly learn that no one will hire them or take their interviews seriously. It's not the schools job to regulate what people wear unless is it revealing or offensive. Let the kids wear fucking robes for all i care as long as they are learning.

So you're saying it is the school system's job to teach people how to dress? I disagree. I say that it is the parents' and students' responsibilities to clean themselves up. If they don't learn how to do it, tough shit. They are there to at minimum learn how to read and write and hopefully gain some critical thinking skills (thats the best we can hope for in most public schools in the US nowadays). It shouldn't take the place of the parents and role models.

School should be about educating children, not just teaching them how to operate in the real world (also define "real world" cus there are a lot of different "real worlds"). In my real world, you can wear whatever you want. If you don't want to wear a suit you dont take a job where you have to wear a suit. As for school, IMHO as long as the clothing isn't revealing or offensive, what harm does it do? It's not a discipline thing, or else the kids would be wearing uniforms (I wore uniforms at high…

Good point. It's already made it's way into reddit canon so there's no going back even if you want to, I guess. Have a great day!

Kinda random, but because I have Reddit Enhancement Suite, I can add notes to people and I have a question for you. Do you still call your johnson 'Thor's Hammer'?

God yes. I've been doing this relaxation technique with girls for years but it never occurred to me how well it could transition into phone sex. A+++ Would upvote again.

My problem is when I'm gaming 18-21 year olds who often live with their parents also. That's the deal-breaker. I just turned 21 but I've been living away from my parents (luckily) for the last 3 years. Living on one's own is generally seen as a sign of independence (IMO and in the opinion of many girls I've spoken to) and maturity. I understand that for many people, it's difficult, if not impossible, to get away from their parents anytime soon, but it should be a priority. At least for me, I vie…

It's more of a personality thing than a stereotype thing, in my opinion. Obviously some girls have their racial preferences but I don't see how most decent girls would base a final opinion on race. Charm is charm, my friend, no matter who you are. Are you in Beijing, or is that too private?

Where are you going to school? Shouldn't be too difficult. I was going to school in Beijing and loads of my asian friends had asian or white girlfriends. It's all in your head, mang.

Hey man. Sorry it took me a while to respond, I was in Wadi Hesa. I'm 20, from Seattle but I've been out of the states (in China mostly) since 2006.

Most are, but everyone speaks English very well (Arabs are damn good at learning English, especially Jordanians). The two girls I'm having around are Saudi and Jordanian-Palestinian but very open minded so, needless to say, I'm excited. :p

يا حبيبي، don't worry. I'm going to give you guys a great field report. I'm studying arabic here, so don't worry, I get it. Definitely the girls are more open in Europe, but one has to work with what they're given, if you know what i mean.

The anal thing doesn't bother me so much. I had my first anal here in Jordan and it was a very nice, clean experience. It's different if you're an American, though. I've found girls open up to me more than my Jordanian friends because they know that as an American, I'm a lot more open and I'm not going to judge them badly for whatever actions they take.

Other than one time, I've never had any problems. Generally I'm not macking on the street anyway so it's not difficult. Unwed sex is TECHNICALLY illegal but I've never had a problem with that either. I've found there to be a huge population of ladies ready and willing to meet a nice foreign guy who knows how to treat a woman. But that's just me. Also, there's a huge house-party scene here which means you're generally given a comfortable place to mack (sex at a house party is frowned upon unless …

I had an idea. How do you feel about following it up in a couple weeks to see if that guy was successful or not? If I remember correctly, you frequent that particular convenience store. Would you mind letting me/us know how it goes. You've already got your mark on her, she'll be that much more open to you in a couple weeks if that dude failed.

Unless you speak Cantonese, the hotel bars are going to be your friend. Sunday nights are great because there are a lot of businesswomen looking for that last nightcap before they leave in the morning. It is a no-risk thing for them. I used to live in Beijing and this would generally work.

Loved your report. I just have a question. Have you ever tried sarging without kino? I have been living in Amman, Jordan for the last 10 months and due to the culture, contact between men and women is GENERALLY frowned upon and makes girls feel uncomfortable. It forces one to really rely on their verbal game.

Just remember one thing: You are the 5 people that you spend the most time with. Choose well the people who you will frequently socialize with. Do not trust anyone until you know them. So basically this summer will not be a summer of many super truthful heart to heart talks. Make yourself the life of the party and the outside observer in equal measures. Building a social circle is merely finding a group of people with who you share interests. Not a hard thing necessarily, even in Alabama.

Marlon Brando. Will Smith. Colin Farrell. Bruce Willis. Sean Connery (Bond-period). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LAPDQ5MlLxE That's the link to a Brando interview in which he just oozes alpha. it's awesome and I've been studying it for the last couple hours.

You have to assume she's attracted to you and STOP WASTING TIME!!! Hearing about that long hug makes me cringe a little. Make it a kiss (at least) next time.

What I ended up doing is showing up to the bar tonight with a few friends, more girls than guys, but it ended up being closed due to protests in the city. This is the text log: Me: Damn. Just dropped by the bar with a few friends, only to find it closed. You call that good service? Her: I'm sorry who's this!? Me: [me] from last night. We had a singing competition that I won. Didn't think you would forget something as humiliating as that. Her: haha I didn't forget you loser but I didnt have any b…

Exactly. You still have to be alpha, but you can throw in stuff like this to show your smart side. At the most basic level, this is a good way to start a conversation.

I find that the nerdy things seem to draw more girls for me than the super-alpha things. Stuff like this that shows intelligence and creativity is worth more than a show of strength in a lot of situations. Upvote for you, my good sir. You are a scholar and a gentlemen. EDIT: At least for the girls I seem to go for.
