1	Why are men still signing up for the military? This! Assume E7 and 20 years at 38 years old. Retire and this is what it’s worth: Pension - 1million. 2500/mo till 70 plus annual raises Va disability 30% would be 230k Va disability 50% would be 450k Va disability 100% would be 1.5m 4 year college degree Gi bill to use or give to kids that pays housing allowance at E5 rate while using. 7	Why are men still signing up for the military? I enlisted at 17. I grew up in extreme poverty with no floors, only was able to get 1 pair of shoes per year, no money and no plan. I am now 30 with a beautiful family, very high dual income household, retirement plans, pension will be immediately collectible at 37 years old forever. And I’ve seen the world, gotten a degree.
