I can't even blame her. Lookism applies to both genders, it's just that for women it's mostly mutable while men are SOL

I think this goes to show I truly only have one standard --Don't be fat Also ponytails are cute
/r/PurplePillDebate16/09/21 04:51 AM

Holy shit rock climbing is a gold mine of hot people. I went with a friend today but I'm thinking of going solo and trying to meet people by just bouldering. ... that or a MMA class, but that will probably be a much worse ratio of guys to girls

Just tell him there's a deadline. Unless he's the type of dad to threaten pulling you out of school because of that, in which case I'd say something along the lines of "I'll have no future if I get kicked out" and then start crying. Dad's are the biggest simps for their daughters

Imagine complementing a woman without a neg. Beta. Shoulda said, "Nice fat deposits on your chest"

Holy shit, I never realized it is that big of a change.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/21 02:51 PM

Yeah I've been there. Chat the girl up until she gives her number and then never call/text it.

Stop diminishing the meaning of "assaulted" for real victims of abuse. Treating women like adults means it's up to them whether they'd rather clean up shit in a minimum wage job or sell their bodies online. Your analogy is poor and I don't really care being a sex worker doesn't give you marketable skills 10 years down the line. It's just a different work flow. Typically it is, little money now more down the line while sex work is a lot of money now less down the line (Unless they get loyal simps…

So how is this involving trafficked women and chilsren? Were those just buzzwords you pulled from some critique of porn? Most porn people watch is from women who choose to make porn (like Playboy ).

This isn't rocket science. Chad = hot guy. Hot guys get away with more things because most women think only ~10% of guys are hot. So having skid marks is not why he's chad. He's chad because women give excuses for why he has skid marks and still fuck him

I get that. Although my alien comment comes across as a joke I think history degrees are important because the whole reason people have all these theories of how Egyptians did certain things is because the history wasn't recorded as well as it could be in the modern day. The better we understand our past the better our future will become is a logical progression. Passion is cool too I guess

Oh man fearing not man hating. Seems related but maybe that's more of a therapy thing and just getting mixed friend groups
/r/PurplePillDebate09/09/21 06:06 PM

Who cares if the whites couldn't do it at the time. The Egyptians had pyramids all pointing to stars and worshipped weird hybrid people. I choose aliens because that's more interesting than saying they just smoked hookahs and decided to write down some bullshit

This is when you tell your friend that you want to hang out and set her up on a blind date with party bro. True friends don't let their friends be manhaters
/r/PurplePillDebate09/09/21 05:57 PM

As much as I like to clown on fake degrees, history degrees seem important to me. Egyptians probably talked to aliens and if we want to communicate when they land again we need an Egyptologist.

Age range? I'm 22 and see very few and I'm in a metro which should increase the density of them
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/21 11:50 PM

Lol, I'm sure there's still trashy music in the country genre but it's much more tame. No other genre would talk about something wholesome like being happy to be alive: https://youtu.be/d4tSE2w53ts Good luck finding trashy music by that guy
/r/PurplePillDebate07/09/21 01:36 PM

Lol @ the first video featuring Saba and the next one being jcole. Almost like there's very few rappers that do non-degenerate music...and as I said even they still do the typical trashy music I heard this one by noname before: https://youtu.be/MFJSauaKZmo . Also last video has less views than the one I found so it's kind of hard to find. It is kind of hard to find decent rap when the top results are always the same type. All I'm saying is even the ones that have some decent songs rap about the …
/r/PurplePillDebate07/09/21 01:34 PM

No, I had my preexisting bias but I attempted to challenge it by looking up the first person on your list only to confirm what I thought before. There's some rap I can listen to every once in awhile like Jcole or Saba, but even they have the stereotypical trashy songs
/r/PurplePillDebate07/09/21 01:19 PM

What's popular is real rap. Even searching the first guy on your list of "real rappers" I find this shitty generic degenerate music: https://youtu.be/l_ZfwYJKh9Q

Or growing up poor in Chicago or how people need to "respect" them. I can't find one album that doesn't mention at least one of these (please no childish Gambino his voice is annoying)
/r/PurplePillDebate07/09/21 01:02 PM

How do you listen to any rap? Every lyric is about fucking hoes and shooting people, cannot relate.

I'd do that if I knew how to do it well and which way to go. Daytrading, using trends lines to make logical trades r/financial advice and put in index funds r/wallstreetbets and yolo on stocks I like (this is what my dad did and he probably lost 500K on weed stocks and pharmaceutical companies)

Yeah, I've been thinking of buying a house and renting it out. Honestly seems like it's even more work, but almost seems necessary in order to make decent money in the 21st century.

Hello Ted Kaczinsky
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/21 03:59 AM

on a continuation of my third wheeling vacation I went to a burlesque show. Which I thought was a play but apparently it's just a strip joint. Caught off guard and uncomfortable. I'm not autistic, but my life feels like a series of uncomfortable situations...Literally got a lap dance because I wasn't clapping fucking hell

I dont know why you think going to one party a semester means much for being social. That's 8 social activities in your entire college life. Add in covid and that makes it more like 5 parties and that's probably how many I went to. Those 5 parties were nice but this notion that having one day a semester where you have a somewhat normal college experience makes up for the other hundreds of days of boring studying is dumb. Also, living on campus definitely helps. something I didn't do for an extra…

Well I'm on the flip side and I've spent most of my high school and college with my head in books to get a decent job...and for what? What's the point? Stability is important I'll agree, but beyond that I couldn't care less if I was making $50K or $100K

Yeah, get invited to parties if you can or prepare to spend $20 to just get in as a guy (for shitty parties). Clubs you have to be 21 to get in and I never wanted to go the fake ID route

High school was better because you're kind of forced to be around a pretty balanced gendered class. If you're a STEM guy in college every class is a sausage fest and if you're commuting too...good luck

Trust your intuition is a good rule of thumb. What is the alternative for him? He says he's uncomfortable about the possibility and he can't get an answer from her. Does he just nut up and shut up? Bottle up his emotions like most guys and hold frame? This isn't healthy for him and your empty words aren't doing anything he's been contemplating for months Edit: saw your edit, so you're saying he should ask her..although he says he can't trust her to say the truth. I don't see how this relationshi…

So if this guy can't even respect his girl why should he force himself to love her. Respect is built up over time and all time has done is revealed how little respect she had for herself

I'd probably be willing to do that. Definitely not ideal, but I dunno if it's better than having a purposeless existence where the only providing you're doing is for your own retirement which is what I'd do otherwise.

Like finding a single mom to parent with? I think if I get enough expendable cash that I could spend on bookers I'd probably just buy boats, quads, vacation homes, etc. I don't really want to make that industry grow any larger than it's becoming...probably too late at this point tbh
/r/PurplePillDebate03/09/21 12:32 AM

I've thought of that, but growing up I saw the advantage of having both a loving dad and mom. As much as I want kids one day I don't think I'd do it alone. Are hookers worth it? Still a virgin in my 20s, but I feel like losing it to a hooker would be "giving up".

The only club I'm passionate about is a turkey club. I could look into gardening club or drone club though. Reading a book about how to talk to people feels like it'd only dig my deeper into the hole lol.

Like a community college course? I've only ever taken technical courses which are ~95% guys who keep to themselves or just play video games. Not such a bad idea to try a more chill class for a change. I'll look into that and see if there's something interesting like gardening (I kind of want to learn hydroponics), drones, or even cooking (my chicken tikka from a jar isn't the best tbh) --- Also, I just finished the TV show Community which would be ideal, but probably a pipe dream lol

understand the context and significance of your interactions outside your own headspace, if that makes sense. That does make sense. It actually brings the car-interaction more to reality. The reality of it being a momentary interaction where we both drive separate ways in 100ft and never see each other again. It reminds me of going on road trips as a kid with my parents and seeing other families driving by going on their own road trips to different states. I'd write messages on paper or just wav…

Any way to practice? My self-esteem is rock bottom so self acceptance is pretty abysmal. I'd rather not accept being a total loser, at least socially. I've never had a ton of friends and I thought it would be a bright idea to move to a city where I know no one. Made one friend (coworker), but I'd like to have a social group to get more diverse conversation.

I know it's just a minor incident, but when I have no major incidents to go off I overweigh these relatively insignificant moments. Just last week I was talking with my dentist receptionist, just small talk, and she smiled while talking to me, so I thought to some degree she was open to talking more. Over the last week I must've played out 20 different conversations and dates with her. When I did my follow up appointment we were talking and I found out she had like a 6 year old kid, she obviousl…

Any advice on being less weird? I was driving to a testing center (AWS cert passed woot woot) and I had my windows down listening to music. A couple women around my age were driving next to me and started singing along at a stoplight while singing things I was doing like drinking from my water bottle. I stared straight head ahead and floored it when it turned green. Not sure if I was so awkward due to stress from the test or just because I'm awkward.
