Dads who stayed with their children really are heroes. Nobody thinks much about it because it's traditionally a standard but in our current century growing up with a father figure isn't as common as it was before. I think many women oversee what a man would do for it family and it's disappointing (not to even mention how some like your dad would care for children that aren't his).
