Though it reads like a pretty dry anthropology field notebook, I've found the DiCarlo Escalation Ladder to be the single most effective framework for confidently expressing myself physically to a woman -- and moving things to the next level.

Strauss is rightly a legend in the community, not just because of the book but because of his skills. Also, he is not some 'creepy old dude'. Many of the people in this sub are his age or older, it's no barrier to success. While I agree that this particular article is merely the briefest introduction to game theory, I found it interesting because it's Strauss's version of the Elevator Talk; he chose what he considers to be the essentials of game. As to the lady, maybe he's just into a different …

Wow. Starting at ground zero? A good-looking guy with combat ribbons? I probably wouldn't know where to begin with advice for you, there's so much! But I'd love to see how you're doing in three months time if it turns out you're serious about game -- you've got a great head start with those advantages. I will say this, you're absolutely right to ignore the 'Just Be Yourself' advocates, that awful advice is rightly trashed here on a daily basis. I'd say, check the sidebar, trawl through as much m…

Folks, OP is only 24! Can we please remind him that he probably has another quarter century on the scene, if he so chooses. God, if only I knew then what I know now (in my 40s). If there had even been such a thing as 'game'... If there had been such resources as we have now... If I were single in my 20s, instead of attached to the wrong woman because of self-doubt... If we had had the internet... If there were a community of helpful, passionate advocates to answer every dumb question about sex..…

Ok so we're all agreed that pissing where you work is generally a bad plan. But having an interesting life filled with passion, working on your physical fitness, making yourself presentable through grooming -- these are not merely accentuating factors. So yes, these are the cart, and 'game' is the horse. But without a cart, the horse is just running around aimlessly. I don't recommend going out to a bar running routines and approaching HB9s while inside you're dying because your life is meaningl…

GREAT QUESTION It's such an old cliché that you have to love yourself before you love someone else -- but how on earth do you go about that?? This is exactly what the basic fundamentals of seduction are about. You are starting at Inner Game Ground Zero. The first step is to forget about pickup, approach, and seduction -- those come later. Here on Seddit we get a bad reputation as a place where nerdy neckbeards and teen virgins come to learn cheezy lines about Astronaut Pants so we can 'manipulat…

I've thought of doing a post about this topic several times. Most other comments here are about personal grooming and psychological warm-ups -- which are crucial of course. I'm not here to talk about clothes, aftershave, or emergency material. But I'd like to remind you that your living space is an important part of the attraction ritual. Sure, some guys will say 'once you have her at home, she's already sold,' but I think there are a few important preparations that will make your transitions ea…

Maybe you could read a little more literature? All of these words are pretty common in the wild. Also, loved your work in Ghostbusters.

Yeah, sorry I wasn't really coming down on PU theory in general -- I love the minutae of game. What I meant was 'I'm not getting involved in any theory debate (in this particular post anyway)'. I think almost all methods are up for debate, for and against, but there is very little in terms of undeniable facts -- so I thought I'd try posting one. But it seems this too is deniable, judging by the comments. Well, this was written drunk, as more of a note to myself than anything. Don't take it too s…

I worked out a running average (3 at a time) of the women I've been with in the last ten years. It went from 2 years younger than me to 14 years younger. There are two women I'm seeing currently, one is ten years younger, the other is twenty years younger. I'm happy with that -- I see no difficulty with age differences.

Congrats. 22? That's impressive. As it happens, just last night I was dreaming about meeting my 24 y.o. self via time travel, and wondering what I would say. Back then I had only had sex with one girl in school and that was 6 years previously. I was a disaster with women but didn't see it, and didn't understand why. I eventually married the first girl who showed an interest in me -- after a long bout of oneitis. I'm 40 now (divorced, naturally) and thanks largely to learning about The Game in 20…
