This is about adoption, not abortion. You are piggybacking off of this post to talk about a completely different issue. The father of a child should definitely have the power to keep a child if the mother doesn't want it (postpartum) The father of a fetus should have zero legal power to decide whether or not a child is aborted. I'm glad things worked out for you in your particular case, though.

More women don't play chess because it's not encouraged in our society. Without such a high volume of female chess players, the best female chess players are left undiscovered. That is an artifact of gender bias in our society. To say that women are inherently worse at chess than men is ridiculous.

We're talking about management positions here, but still yes. Your statistical evidence means nothing. A much smaller portion of women are athletes than men, which could still be cultural. To my knowledge, it has not been shown experimentally that women are less athletically gifted biologically than men.

That's the base assumption. Equality is always the base assumption. The burden of proof is on those who claim that there are innate biological differences between men and women that somehow affect their ability to manage a business. Do you have evidence to show that their underrepresentation in management positions is caused by biological differences?

I've seen numerous studies and copious evidence that gender differences in math and whatnot are cultural, not biological or genetic. The same goes for boxing and weight lifting.

This argument does not work. If we're assuming the crops are getting the same attention, then you're stating that one crop is genetically superior to the other. This isn't true for gender. There are more factors at play here than just genetics. Cultural, historical, and prejudicial forces are at work here, and those are harder to predict.

This is silly. There's a cultural bias against women being in management. It's someone else's decision whether or not a woman can be in a management position. But chess? That's her decision. She can choose to learn chess, and through years of practice she might become a chess grand master. But that's on her, not someone else who may or may not have a gender bias. I'm all for Men's rights, but we don't need to grasp at straws here.

The other posters raise some significant points. I honestly don't see the big deal here. In a country like India, raising the education level of women will probably have a greater effect on the country than raising the education level of men. EDIT: and unlike America, women in India do have a significantly harder time getting an education than men. This will help restore balance. That's what we're after, aren't we? Equality?
