I'll write it for you again. If I had said they were the only causes, I would be wrong. But I didn't. So I'm not.

There are many reasons.

Can I have a link to that study please.

You acknowledge the existence of the halo effect and then ask if only people you know treat you better?

Your looks are your first impression, personality, and confidence. Take "manlets" for example, a term I think is incredibly offensive and I'm not even short, they decide to get ripped in the gym and then have to deal with men and women thinking they're overcompensating.

Where do you think it comes from?

Being rejected by a woman is a lot more personal than not getting a job.

Except job rejections are usually based on your experience / professional skills, whereas being rejected by a women is either because you're not psychically attractive enough and or lack social skills.

I honestly don't think there is an easy option. Social anxiety is either from autism or from being unattractive, meaning the person got zero positive feedback growing up and has never had women interested in them. No "tool" is going to fix deep rooted childhood trauma.

Yes and it starts before age 10.

I think it's what makes mental illness so sad. I'm convinced the most effective treatment for people with depression or anxiety or body dysmorphia would be to have a loving partner who is sexually attracted to them. Instead, people don't want to be associated with them and treatments include pills which are bad for your health or talking therapies.

Dancing with a girl in a club isn't dating. Dating is where you're seeing somebody with the intention of being in a relationship.

Is that in agreement with the last sentence or disagreement with something else?

As a man, it's unbelievable how a man who is 6 foot or 6 foot 1 looks so much more attractive and masculine than a man who is 5 foot 10. They have a lot more presence. Clothes look better on them. They seem more trust worthy and more like leaders. I think it has to do with primal attraction as height is a sign of dominance and good genetic quality. Tall men make women feel safe. 100% women also want to tell other women he's over 6 foot also.

That dating isn't natural which is why subs like this exist. We can't force something to feel right.

Men have a lot of testosterone. We are attracted to many different body types. Pretty sure there would be at least a bllion men on the planet that would sleep with you.

Would you consider yourself physically attractive? Do you have hobbies? Are you intelligent?

Probably, yes. The obvious reason being that women will quickly realise on a subconscious level that you cannot raise children properly or be a stable provider / protector. Your brain doesn't work properly, you're genetically incorrect. She'll be thinking about how her friends and family will perceive you. She'll be embarrassed to be associated with you, let alone be your girlfriend. A woman doesn't want to be a carer for her partner.

I have social anxiety and aspergers. I come across as a simple or "special" person. I've only ever had success in South East Asia where there is a huge language gap which can somewhat mask my awkwardness. I deeply want to connect with women in my country, but I'm starting to think I'll never be able to.

At least we agree on the importance of looks for both genders.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/22 10:30 PM

Or could it also be that it's all they can get now?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/22 10:24 PM

Sure, I'll watch it. I never said men in their 50s will have access to women in their 20s, I said they'll be better looking than ugly guys and will have had better life experiences.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/22 10:11 PM

I feel like that's a pretty extreme example. Most "players" aren't models who are treated like they're superior to other people which leads to many mental problems. They're just guys who can pull girls fairly easily because they're physically attractive. If you're a young man, capable of sleeping with loads of attractive young women, that's what you'll do. Doesn't make you a terrible person.

How do you know he won't ever? As I said earlier, he'll be good looking even when older, and can completely change his personality. So he could become desirable and also be physically attractive. It isn't like all girls he meets in the future know you personally and know what he did to you x amount of years ago.

If one girl blocked me, but I had many other options, why would I care? I take issue with what you say about filling a void. Men have 6 x more testosterone than women. When we're young, we want to fuck every attractive woman in the world. It really isn't much deeper than that. Although if an older guy is doing it and is unhappy, then yeah, he's probably trying to fill a void.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/22 09:47 PM

Because it was fun, exciting and sexy. Most men would be doing it if they could. You can change your personality, not your DNA, so I'd rather be a "terrible" person than ugly.

Ugly guys will also find themselves reaching 50. The good looking guys will still be better looking, have better social skills and better life experiences. Not sure how they lose.

You can't be a player if you're ugly. There isn't any games or tricks, it's his looks you're biologically attracted to.

Women have to bear a child for 9 months. They are the choosers. Autistic people are undesirable because we are genetic garbage, which is why women hate autistic people by nature.

It's nice knowing that as an average or below average guy, you're waiting for this kind of women to come into your life. She'll never lust or sexually desire you, just settle for you because it's all she can get now.

Correct. And you're still incorrect about my original comment.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/22 04:41 PM

I used an extreme example to prove you're wrong. You're denying humans are biologically attracted to healthy looking people.

have autism just go out and succeed at socializing bro at least when you fail and humiliate yourself for the 1000th time you can say you tried. People will respect that. Not results.

Women judge other women. I'm not sure pressure is the right word.

So people who don't earn much money are low quality?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/22 07:45 PM

It's a fact which explains why we shouldn't feel bad about it because it's what we're hardwired to do. I'm not attractive, I wish I was. I feel your pain.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/22 07:42 PM

Good point. And this is a result of the halo effect and positive reinforcement theory. Your face is your first impression. Good looking people get treated better in almost all areas of life.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/22 07:37 PM

Biological realities aren't meant to make you feel good. Or bad. They're just facts.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/22 07:35 PM

Your arguments make zero sense. Quite obviously, healthy looking people are attractive. Unhealthy people aren't.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/22 01:08 PM

You're seriously denying that physical attractiveness is not tied to looking healthy or unhealthy? Do you find frale looking people on life support machines sexy?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/22 11:48 AM
2

The truth is your physical attractiveness is tied to how healthy you look. Nope. Just nope. There are so many other factors. Yes, but there are other factors. Fixed it for you.

As humans we're biologically programmed to be sexually attracted to good looking people as good looks are a sign of good genetic quality. Just because you want it to be deeper doesn't mean it should be.

The only difference between being in the friendzone and being fuckable (desirable) is looks. Sorry mate
