It’s really easy to lose yourself while living together, so my golden rule is: have your own room! It’s perfectly normal for men to have their mancave so why can’t we have our own space? No matter how perfect your relationship is, you need a space to decompress, to relax and do your own thing.

Yeah, that is sadly true…. A guy straight up told me he matched with every girl….”beCauSe UgLy GiRLs neEd LoVe ToO…” Disgusting.

It’s insane how few actually take the time to read a profile to see if they are compatible. I also matched with guys who wanted to criticize my preferences and views. I mean… do you really have nothing better to do? Those were definitely the “nice guys” type. Feeling attacked by a random woman.

Thanks for your reply! 😁 English is not my first language so I guess I didn’t phrase it correctly. Sorry for the confusion!

Thanks for taking the time to clarify! 😃 I was confused about the downvotes. But I can see how men can use the unhygienic thing to shame women. Thanks for pointing that out. I should’ve been more clear about it being a personal preference!

Same for me! I think it’s more hygenic to keep the hair shorter down there. But I think the message of OP is just don’t do it for a man, do it for yourself. 😊 Edit: Why the downvotes? I don’t see the problem with keeping it short? 🙄

I think you should listen to your gut feeling like the title of this post. We all know how hard it is to break up and to let someone go. “Just dump this loser” is easy for us to say, but you care for this guy. But let me tell you…. He is not the best. Not for you, if he was, you wouldn’t feel this way. You would feel happy and content with the relationship. And ask yourself this… what if you never would meet anyone better? Would he be good enough? Doesn’t sound like it to be honest. It’s only 7 …

It’s super easy for us to say “dump this dude” but it’s never easy to let go of someone, especially because you are so young. But believe me, all of us here who are a (little) older have been here. You are young and you desperately want to make this work, but from experience we know that this is a lost cause. Like others have mentioned, this should be the most happy time of your relationship. You two are just not compatible. I am in my 30’s and I’ve put so much energy, tears and hope into relati…

It’s funny to me that most of them think we hate on men all day just because we post articles and share experiences. FDS taught me to be a better person and to focus on me and my own health and to not let my worth be defined by men. How in the world is that misandry?

My male friends are the reason I don’t trust men. 😂

I actually liked the book and it helped me a lot with how to deal with certain situations. I don’t agree with everything but I think it’s a good start for any woman who is used to be a doormat in relationships and wants to change that. Personally the book that changed me completely was “Fuck him” by Brian Nox. Even though it’s written by a man, he really has a lot of good points. I bought it for learning about relationships and I loved it because it helped me grow my self worth. Would definitely…

The name calling really hurt. But for some reason it wasn’t enough to make me leave him. It became normal after a while. When he punched me… that was the beginning of the process of leaving him. It’s always easy for outsiders to tell you to leave but I really think it’s a process. It wasn’t a sudden switch. I had bruises all over my legs… and I knew I had to leave. But this guy started to crawl back after a while. I am a very empathic person, except for myself. So I gave him the chance to explai…

He told me he had 2 kids…. after 3 weeks of talking and calling and one date. 🤡 This is actually a tactic of scrotes to get you emotionally invested in them so you won’t reject them that easily when you find out.

Wow, this is amazing. Thanks for taking the time to write this down. I loved Twilight as a teen, but I always disliked Bella. I also disliked Anastacia and I didn’t know it was a fan fic back then haha. Makes sense haha. Also, something else; watched the first movie of 50 shades and it didn’t make sense to me that they never showed a penis. The actress was completely naked all the time. Imagine Game of Thrones only showed dicks instead of boobs. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Long time ago I was dating this guy. I was a pick me back then and I kind of fell for his looks, but we didn’t actually have a lot in common. After a few more dates he was constantly talking about roadtrips, how it would be fun and how much better it was than flying to the destination. I am not into roadtrips and I told him that. But he kept pestering me about it until I had enough. So I declined politely and he started name calling me and eventually blocking me. It was actually kind of scary. T…

I didn’t know this case, but I’ve watched some true crime docs recently and I just finished watching Real Detective on Netflix. The thing that stood out to me was that most killers were male. And the few killers that were female all had an understandable reason for their actions. The female killers were all victims of abuse, rape and torture. So they were actually seeking justice and trying to make their lives less miserable by killing their abuser. The men in Real Detective though were all miso…

Exactly! It’s not about revenge or an eye for an eye. Like you said, it’s about that last undeniable evidence that makes her stronger to leave him. I believe most women are kind hearted and we almost automatically want to believe the good in our partners, no matter how obvious the toxic behavior is to others. She has probably that little toxic voice in her head that says “he is just curious, he isn’t cheating” so she needs this strategy to be able to leave him.

Although I do agree with most of the comments here that it’s probably a waste of time and energy. But I also do believe this can help her heal faster when she leaves this guy. It’s always easy to say “leave that shithead” but it’s her husband so I guess she has been with him for a while. I’ve had a very toxic relationship and leaving is not that easy. Especially before FDS I wasn’t strong. I was a huge pick me, insecure and I just wanted to be with someone. I think this strategy might be a step …

I know, right? 😍 I was in aww when he got me that book. He knows whats important to me and I know whats important to him. He is the first man I truly trust. It did take me a while though due to bad relationships and a long vetting proces. But he showed again and again his loyalty and love for me. Men like these are rare, but I believe they are out there!

My bf always said he wasn’t the romantic type. I am a very romantic person. Even though it is something that doesn’t come natural to him, he really tried to be romantic by giving cards with a sweet message. He lit some candles for a cozy and romantic evening. And for our anniversary he bought a book “Why I love you” where he has to answer questions about me and the relationship. I really think this is an important HV trait.

This is absolutely true. I was in an abusive relationship and thought the guy I met a year later was HV just because he gave me thoughtful presents and was a smooth talker. (Love bombing but I did not realize) I was mesmerized by it, because he actually listened to what I told him. But I found out soon enough he was manipulative and gaslighting me about anything. He also always compared me with other women. It wasn’t easy to end the relationship because he was so much “better” than the ex. But i…

It’s disgusting. Made me think of when I was looking at another sub which resolves around… lets call it lack of intimacy between partners. So this guy in his 50’s was complaining about his wife not being interested in him anymore. I got curious and clicked his profile and guess what. He was commenting on all young girls videos and porny photos. Girls that could easily be his daughter. Eew. No wonder his wife lost interest.

Big no no. If a guy you barely know already voiced his hate towards feminists then it’s better to stay away from him. It seems this is a big issue to him because why would he share it while working? You deserve a guy that is gentle, respects women and UNDERSTANDS what women have to deal with nowadays and in the past.

Only you can judge whether it’s safe for you to stay or not. We want you to be safe but we are just a bunch of internet strangers, so it’s hard to give advice! The moment your instinct tells you to go, then go. Your safety is important, and even a shelter will be a step forward, not backward. It might feel that way, but leaving that guy is always a step forward! I don’t want to scare you but just be careful! Maybe you can tell close friends and family whats going on, so they can check up on you.…

Omg, girl! This is so heartbreaking to hear! 😢 It sounds like you have a solid plan to get out of this situation! I strongly suggest to do a LOT of selfcare in the meantime. Spoil yourself with a bath or shower, massage your face (eyebrows, forehead, cheeks, jaw). Watch feel good movies, and try to avoid any conflict. It sounds like he gets mad at everything, that’s not your fault! Don’t argue with him, it’s not worth it. Try to be as zen as possible. Please don’t harm yourself anymore. You can …

I’ve had a lot of coffee dates in the past (ugh, I know) and even though I didn’t know the guys good enough to know they were HVM some definitely impressed me with their behavior, in a bad and good way. Green flags - a small gift like flowers or something you talked about before meeting - interested in you, not talking about himself all the time - messaging you right after the date - nice outfit Red flags - wearing work clothes (seriously?) - being rude to staff - inviting you to come to his pla…

Awesome question! I never forget what my LV ex said to me while we were in a relationship.. “You will be fine when it’s over.” At that time it was a manipulation tactic, because he knew I was afraid to lose him. But many drama, gaslighting and fights and arguments later I knew he was toxic af and he was right all along. It’s all romantic and shit to think you can’t live without someone. But it’s a toxic thought. You will be OKAY!

I really loved “Why men love bitches” by Sherry Argov and “Fuck him” by Brian Nox. Contrary to the titles it’s not only about men and dating, it’s also about leveling up and knowing your own worth.

This is so sad. Having a girlfriend isn’t enough for this guy. I bet he didn’t actually delete his account. He will just make a new one and hide it from her.

I wish I had flair yet so I could comment here. I know the mods are super busy keeping this place safe. But I just read this news and I am so shocked. The report didn’t mention “incel” but I knew immidiately when it was dscribed how he would complain about not having a girlfriend.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
