Update on my Living Situation and Domestic ViolenceUpdated my post; the case was posted and is ongoing. Also, thank you! | /r/MensRights | 05/08/15 01:14 PM
Update on my Living Situation and Domestic ViolenceI hope they do too! I've thought about it, since the rabbit hole of my life goes a lot deeper; first I'd like to get on my feet though (a book needs a happy ending right?). | /r/MensRights | 05/08/15 01:14 PM
So damned depressedI don't, though I wish I did! I love Texas! I appreciate the gesture :] | /r/MensRights | 29/07/15 03:57 AM
You should know: You're being watched, and branded, for taking part in this subreddit.Made the list myself, but I find this creepy as fuck and just invites harassment. | /r/MensRights | 29/07/15 01:20 AM
So damned depressedRight on, thank you so much for your support :] | /r/MensRights | 29/07/15 12:17 AM
So damned depressedThanks, I'm trying to pick up more work on mTurk lately to get by. | /r/MensRights | 28/07/15 11:15 PM
So damned depressedWisconsin, and I really appreciate it thank you! | /r/MensRights | 28/07/15 11:14 PM
So damned depressedI appreciate it, but I couldn't possibly accept. Thank you so much though for offering :) | /r/MensRights | 28/07/15 01:26 PM
So damned depressedThank you,' words can do so much. Batteries are dying for now, bit i won't forget your kindness . | /r/MensRights | 28/07/15 12:09 PM
So damned depressedI suppose you are correct. | /r/MensRights | 28/07/15 10:45 AM
So damned depressedThat's true. Sucks to be selfish but you are totally right. Maybe I can reach out to some "friends" (like I said I don't get close to too many people) and, albeit embarassingly, discuss my situation. | /r/MensRights | 28/07/15 10:42 AM
So damned depressedTruth...I guess I need to stop putting myself down when I already have someone who does that for me. It's weird how abusive people can actually change your fucking mindset without you knowing it. All of the positive comments are making it easier to see the light, as far down the tunnel as it may be from time to time. | /r/MensRights | 28/07/15 10:34 AM
So damned depressedI know this is the truth for sure. She's tried it before, but thankfully the cops could see she had no evidence and was off her rocker. Also, her kids had my back. I have to find an alternative soon, because it's not fair to have to live in fear of her alcoholism. I just really, really feel bad for the kids, but having been through the foster care system myself, I couldn't bring myself to report her. It's all fudged up. | /r/MensRights | 28/07/15 10:32 AM
So damned depressedNah, grew up in foster care after I was abused early in life. | /r/MensRights | 28/07/15 10:19 AM
So damned depressedThanks, mate. I needed that. | /r/MensRights | 28/07/15 10:18 AM
So damned depressedI want to but I don't know where to go; and I have no money as I can't work and what I did have she spent when I checked myself in for depression and left my debit card at home. Poof, all gone :/ | /r/MensRights | 28/07/15 10:16 AM
So damned depressedThanks for the inspiration bogman, I mean it. EDIT: That's why I want to be a Nurse, I was an Army medic and I want to help others (plus I love medicine, so kind of selfish too). | /r/MensRights | 28/07/15 10:13 AM
So damned depressedWell they have a barracks type program, where they help with mental health counselors, and job training, and the rest is actually not too far off from basic AIT shit, where everyone pitches in and cleans, goes to support groups, etc. The only problem with this is that it's far from my school and I am dead set on getting my BSN. The other is like a special section 8 voucher for vets, called HUD-VASH, which I'm trying for for the time being. I get my Post 9/11 GI bill in the fall as well, which sh… | /r/MensRights | 28/07/15 10:07 AM
So damned depressedThat right there really helped me put things in perspective. I guess I could try getting involved in the local VFW and such. I've been such a loner for so long due to my battles with depression and shit. Btw, thank you so much, you are right, and I appreciate your sentiment and caring. | /r/MensRights | 28/07/15 10:03 AM
So damned depressedThe fact that you care makes me feel better already, so don't be :] | /r/MensRights | 28/07/15 10:01 AM
So damned depressedI'm working on some Vets programs, but they take a long time. We do in my area have a "homeless shelter" but it rotates to different churches every night and is usually full (mostly men, go figure). The populace here voted against a permanent shelter b/c they were worried about their property values. | /r/MensRights | 28/07/15 09:59 AM
So damned depressedNo, I pay. I cook just as much. I just have nowhere else to go but the shelters. Around here the shelters aren't that great a deal and it's hard to carry around medical books in a shelter. EDIT: I also love the kids a lot and do more to parent them than she does. | /r/MensRights | 28/07/15 09:47 AM
So damned depressedI've gotten so used to being homeless I now have what I call a parachute pack, with underwear, socks, hygiene stuff, etc. In case she goes crazy. Haven't been able to afford a tarp or a bike or a tent yet, but workin on it. I know I can do what I need to better my life; hell I got a 4.0 in Nursing last semester...but it seems like the universe is determined to stop me. | /r/MensRights | 28/07/15 09:45 AM
So damned depressedI don't know anyone else who can take me in :/ | /r/MensRights | 28/07/15 09:42 AM
[PDF] 47% of male victims of domestic abuse are threatened with arrest. 21% are arrestedHines, Brown, and Dunning also noted that 90% experienced controlling behaviors Yikes, I know this all too well. | /r/MensRights | 23/07/15 01:19 PM
Gawker claims Pao was fired because she's a woman, links to multiple posts sitting on zero or negative karma and (you guessed it) manages to blame Men's Rights for her removal as wellWait what? I must have missed something. | /r/MensRights | 15/07/15 03:44 PM
Is Mattress Girl Editing Her Sex Tape To Dodge A Lawsuit? On the other hand by not doing so he's just encouraging more of the same to happen to other poor guys like him. | /r/MensRights | 10/06/15 04:03 AM
Why is the general consensus on reddit that this subreddit is horrible and sexist? This is the reaction I come across whenever I self-identify publicly. Then I have to explain myself, and most of the time people had no clue in the first place what the MRM was really about. People think of gender equality as some kind of zero sum game, where if you support one side you must OBVIOUSLY hate the other. | /r/MensRights | 10/06/15 03:55 AM
Hillary Clinton's first campaign speech is all about feminism - God forbid this woman gets electedITT: Republicans BAD. Whatever, Clinton doesn't have beliefs since she will expedite a change in rhetoric to suit her and her husband's increase in power and in their own personal coffers. Maybe you ought to wait to see who all announces their candidacy, and perhaps ACTUALLY see what some Republicans actually believe. This election should see a much more moderate and libertarian leaning Republican party, which I wholly endorse. Also, I would like to see this sub stay on topic without devolving i… | /r/MensRights | 25/04/15 03:00 AM
Anger after white people and men are banned from 'anti-racism' rally at British university by its own student union DIVERSITY OFFICERUpon asking our University's Diversity Director what they thought diversity meant, they admitted their policy was "anything not white or male". I'm pretty sure this kind of cultural marxism is the norm at our universities, which have become institutions of marxist and feminist indoctrination since the 70s. | /r/MensRights | 23/04/15 02:10 PM
Married 1 week and put on solitary. So she claims he's put her through hell for five months, but they've only been married one week? Must not have been that bad... I've been through an abusive relationship before as well, and this type of behavior is extremely similar. From my experience, I see it as her way of getting there first and dominating the public sphere so that her word isn't challenged (therefore he's the bad guy) and then all communication is controlled through her (he doesn't get to defend himself). EDIT: Additionally… | /r/MensRights | 15/04/15 07:56 AM
No Female Privilege? 4chan post. Has the usual hyperbole, but the argument is totally valid.I wish i had the money to gold you. | /r/MensRights | 14/03/15 04:10 PM
My first son was born over the weekend! I was given one day of paternity leave. My wife gets 8 months. It's sad because of a very important psychological process called imprinting. Basically, in humans (it's different from animals a bit) imprinting is the process of association with one's parents during gestation and through a period shortly after. With humans, imprinting is not as strong (as a reflexive effect) but the critical period is still important for development for both the infant as well as the parents. | /r/MensRights | 04/12/14 03:05 PM
The SexedusI'm interested in seeing where this series goes. I'm glad the author points out that this isn't the view of the vast majority of women, but more a top-down force feeding of negativity. | /r/MensRights | 04/12/14 02:53 PM

Exonerated Football Player Brian Banks Signed by Atlanta Falcons.I can't describe how elated I am about this. I really hope he does well, though I have my reservations as he missed a decade of football. He might be put on special teams but even that would be a victory. I watched the 60 minutes special on his story and I'm happy they put the woman's name and face out there. http://www.cbsnews.com/video/watch/?id=50143485n | /r/MensRights | 05/04/13 10:21 PM
Found this on a friend's FB post... apparently killing married guys is violence against womenI think sometimes the corporate and capitalist structure has a built in enmity with men. In many large systems, especially growth and profit related, men are the immediate victims. War, industry, the men are expendable. The mega-corporation kills male roles in society and replaced them with logos. This is just ridiculous. I swear there is not one fucking thing in the world that corporations and capitalism aren't to blame for (so it would seem). Where do we draw the line? Let's not blame free eco… | /r/MensRights | 01/04/13 03:04 AM
..Seriously?I don't know what's worse: the fact that they are all men, or that it is implied that you don't know which one so you can't trust any. | /r/MensRights | 01/02/13 11:17 PM
Maybe you people have some insight - apparently a "no-fault state" means men should be punished and have no hope of a fair trial.I know this isn't really indicative of the "real" justice system, but I'm home sick today with these damn court shows all over TV. I noticed that more often than not the plaintiffs are women, and the defendants are men. The men are always treated like scum more often than not. Looks like men just want to get past relationships and women always feel like someone needs to pay for whatever issues they had in it. | /r/MensRights | 29/01/13 10:46 PM
The DA and Child Support Officer actually want to help me right now!! Amazing!! But I need your help to do it...Disabled Vet here; I have no advice but I feel your pain. | /r/MensRights | 24/01/13 10:48 PM
Posters of naked men spark controversy in Vienna. Why do people feel so uneasy about the male body? It's okay. I upvote you b/c I know why you do it. We have been programmed to distrust misandry. I'm not mad. | /r/MensRights | 15/01/13 01:42 AM

Bill Burr: Most difficult job on the planetI hope in compensation you find an inbox full of several upvotes. If not sufficient I can do more; just not too much, I have a "human finger" which gets tired. | /r/MensRights | 14/01/13 08:54 AM
Bill Burr: Most difficult job on the planetYou are correct actually; I have a problem where I don't look sometimes at subs when I click things. Thus I often have no idea how relevant or irrelevant things are in concert to their origination. My bad sir or mam. I shall upvote you accordingly. | /r/MensRights | 14/01/13 08:50 AM
Study shows boys outnumber girls in STEM field because boys are smarter, not because STEM fields intentionally discriminate against girls.Tabula Rasa was originally used IIRC by John Locke to explain an a priori explanation of particular knowledge. This dates back to Plato's Forms. I.E., the soul, body, mind, what have you is ingrained with particular traits (some may called knowledge) and upon experience in life that tabula or (tablet) is ingrained with a priostori knowledge. It's been 12 years so correct me if I am wrong. Thanks. EDIT: Also after football so excuse me please, and thank you. EDIT AGAIN: the all men are created eq… | /r/MensRights | 14/01/13 08:43 AM

| 4 | Jodi Arias Is Innocent .com - Victim blaming is terrible unless the victims a man of course. He’s all about power and image. So people who claim she’s shallow, well, she’s more vulnerable and easily manipulated. Why? I’m sure she was an insecure narcissist to an extent, and girls like that are the easiest to control BY ACCIDENT even. Look how fast she converted to Mormonism for him. His job is also a scam and his religion is a cult… so if he had excelled so quickly without college, well, it’s easy if you’ll rip off old people who don’t know any better. Did he deserve to die?
