100% you invest in women they invest back. You invest men - they don't see you as human, they're just waiting for the opportunity to try a sleep with you. It's so so sad once you realise this. Took me over ten years ...

Totally it's all the accessories too i.e. the remover, the pads, taking those out in the trash... The costs... All the little bits eat out of our time energy and resources and as some Queens have said WE ARE SO BEAUTIFUL as women. No additions needed.

"Men don't understand that we don't even need them anymore" This is their biggest fear. It's why they keep our economic, legal, work-place, housing, and every system set up to disadvantage us and try to make it hard for us to live without a male.

Less activism, I agree more with the exhibitionism comments. Advocating for "freedom" through showing our nipples in this society is only part and parcel of our incessant objectification.

Totally, I love this. It's like with consent (I know it's a buzz word but in a more general sense). The phrase if it's not an enthusiastic yes, it's a no Doubt is your body communication with you. Amazing when you start to listen to and value your self. Scrote-repellent magic it is!

The fact that even feminists- active on this reddit - can slip into describing this inhumane oppression as 'work' (their language/lie) speaks volumes

Using their language won't help, don't sanitize it - it's not a form of work, it's a form of slavery. Prostitution. NB: a lot of exited women use the term 'prostituted person' to place emphasis on the john's , pimps who buy her. It is not who she is i.e. she is not a 'prostitute'. Just like 'enslaved person' instead of 'slave'. It shines the spotlight on the oppressor.

What about the growth of the billion dollar sex trafficking industry which is overwhelming women and girls. Locked in a room and raped by strangers? No passport, no ability to leave, might not speak the language there, beaten... Is this not slavery and torture? There is a great docu called "Nefarious: Merchant of human souls" on YouTube showing the extent of this evil across the world. Slavery is here, it's just that women are the slaves now. This is where I say Yes firmly. I see the grey areas …

These two things are deeply interconnected - they don't exist outside the culture where men expect women to behave this way. Why do you think they created these dolls? The idea is in their mind first, then the doll. If they saw us as human beings, these 'creations' wouldn't exist.

Absolutely love this. Second wave feminist analysis still ringing true as FDS wisdom today.

Hey, this is super interesting for me you've raised this as I did my last session. She was supportive about the fact that it is our collective experience as she has experienced through her life (just out subjugation and their entitlement, not over disclosure about SA or anything). I felt soo reassured from the solidarity. I have an incredibly pick me friend - we were close but this repulses me - especially since finding FDS and understanding what this behaviour is and being able to name it when …

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
