Most posters and readers are women. OPs tend to paint themselves as sympathetic, and men and women tend to have different relationship morals. E.g. women generally see emotional infidelity as worse than sexual infidelity. Some relationship issues also tend to skew somewhat genderwise and people are more understanding to their own experiences. Also if they've experienced it personally they're less likely to judge harshly because what they say also applies to them and humans have a massive case of…

TBH as a man I'd avoid hitting on a woman walking alone at night like the guy in the article did. The chance of success in that scenario is really fucking low anyway and it's not fun for them either. Daylight in public is fine IMO, I don't get stopping girls who are going somewhere, because there are lots of girls out there so why aim for one who's going to be annoyed to start with, not rapey, just really inefficient. Same with pushing past a no, even if you get past the no she'll probably flake…

Sole-proprietor prostitution is harder to regulate. It's easier to check that a licensed premises is complying and paying taxes etc. than individuals who may move around and use fake documents. I feel it's the same as selling alcohol, loans or gambling, it has specific rules and it's difficult to check that random people moving around are following them especially if they haven't registered. They also offer protection to both sides in terms of payment, he said she said and risk of violence. I un…

I'm unattractive, women don't hate me, most of them just don't want from me what I want from them which is fine. No one likes getting rejected and sometimes it's harsher than I like but some people can't take a hint so whatever. They might hate weak men, it's normal to dislike people who are emotionally weak. When I first got out of hospital I was very negative, I was an energy leech, i was sulky, childish, I sought reassurance/validation constantly and was unable to take care of my own shit. My…

As a man who has visited prostitutes on occasion. It needs to be checked up on more, with the laws properly enforced as many countries with legalised prostitution have higher rates of human trafficking as it is easier to conceal those who are unwilling. I'm a fan of brothels as it keeps things easier to track. ID checking with losing your licence for catering to under 16s (UK AoC) and failure to do so being tantamount to knowingly sleeping with a minor. Making sure the prostitutes are 18+ and ha…

Because it tells people that you rate highly that you're interested in them. So women rate based off whether they're personally interested so a lot of mixed ratings. If you look at the messaging rates I think that's a more accurate picture because it's showing what women are going for and a 1 can't cancel out a couple of 7s.

Should be legal, but it should also be highly regulated.

Women get lots of messages, all else equal most would prefer a message that shows you read their profile and segues into a conversation rather than an exchange of generic 'hi's and 'how are you?'s. Bonus points if you can find something in their profile that has a local event in a week or two. Like a book-signing or movie coming out etc.

Should have phrased that better. I don't have many great features (to work with), but I do have thick shiny hair, so I try to make the most of it. It's my best feature, but it grows really quickly so styled haircuts that aren't a uniform length grow out really fast so I need to get it cut often.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/17 05:57 PM

Because it's one of those things that make a big difference, my haircuts tend to grow out quickly and I don't have much to work with, but I do have really nice thick hair.

I have a small dick, but not a micropenis and by the time a girl sees the small dick it's basically a done deal, touch her how she likes and she probably DGAF you don't need much downstairs to get a girl off. I'm not bald but pre-accident I was 2 of those things, and I still got laid, just be realistic. I will say not been so lucky post-accident, but I've had facial reconstructive surgery and with the swelling going down and using a little makeup and bb skin to make the swelling less obvious I'v…

Women can preserve their RMV somewhat by becoming better partners. I'd disagree on the age thing, I think around 22-26 is the peak imo. TBH women are so in demand for casual sex their SMV is still higher than most guys even when they're old because just being female is an automatic +10. I'd say 35 rather than 30 is panic time for starting a family and I think men also suffer over time more than RP would like to admit, not as badly as women but I'd say if you're 40s your stock is dropping, in the…

Most of my clothes were picked out by my little sister, I just try to make sure the colours don't clash. Not that expensive, but not dirt-cheap either, I have a few tailored shirts she got me for Christmas/birthdays with different collars etc. and some non-designer good quality, like around the £18 mark off sale, plainer basics so I don't have the biggest wardrobe but I have a couple of obviously nice things and things I can rewear without it being obvious. In terms of t-shirts around £10 each I…

No. Adaptation means changing, the bigger the variation to select from the better a species can adapt. E.g. heterozygous advantage sickle cell anaemia vs malaria. A usually disadvantageous allele more common in some areas because it lowers fatalities from malaria, even though having 2 copies of the allele is bad and can be fatal, someone with one copy in that environment was better off than someone with no copies.

I'm blue. Not really. To reference Becky/Ron etc. And the little bit of evopsych I think is credible. Ron: Stress!!! Need Sum fuk fuk stress away!!! Spread mah jeans!!!! Becky: Stress!!!! No fuk!!! stress fuk bad!!!! Die before ah Spread mah Jeans!!!!! Women want their partner to confide in them so they feel more intimate with them. But when women are stressed their libido usually plummets and attraction isn't high on their list of emotions. Confiding isn't a bad thing and intimacy aids female a…

Blue, family was together until Dad died, married 41 years pre-death, it was my Dad's second marriage, but his first was very short. Fairly close with extended family who are mostly still together, one I think annulled rather than divorced uncle.

I have nothing against adopted children, but for me the problem is I wouldn't claim a child I didn't love so there'll be a time when I'm attached to a child I have no claim over and that's a vulnerable position to be in. I wouldn't have a problem with using a sperm donor if I was infertile or anything, because if that relationship went sour my name would be on all the paperwork.

Not RP and nothing against single mothers or other people's kids, but I probably wouldn't date one. BUT there are 4 possible outcomes here, only one of them is good. My relationship with the child will be good or bad, my relationship with the mother will either work or fail. If I don't have a good relationship with the child it's just another dealbreaker. I wouldn't adopt a kid I don't love or marry a mother with custody of a child I wasn't attached to, because I don't want to be on the hook for…

I kinda agree, but I generally offer something cheap or just make it clear that we're splitting when offering. I wouldn't expect a girl to pay half, but I'd think less of her if she didn't offer or didn't contribute to the next date. I've only had a couple of gfs and one was pretty broke, she didn't pay for anything, but she was always offering to darn/hem/bake things for me so she was contributing just differently.

He's a bit thick around the gut and he's got more than a babyface. He's not properly fat, but he's not eating well and fit either. He's not reaction fat, but he's fatter than any of my family and he's not practising what he's spent years preaching. A lot of people are fat nowadays, he might not be extremely fat, but he's still fat. Can't comment on the rest of his life but that dude isn't in shape.

It's because he's spent years saying that men should get in shape but isn't in shape. Like if I said 'Don't accept pity sex.' because yesterday I got pity sex and I would jump at the opportunity to get it again.

Had both, they're different but I'd pick gf. I liked being able to go around after a hard day and just flop down on the sofa get fed and have my hair stroked. FWB is fun, but there's also getting 'dumped' with no notice, and if one of you is exhausted there isn't usually the option of suck me off, I'll get you back later.

IMO most men like pretty young women who adore them, I don't endorse it but people look at the whole Lewinsky affair and a lot of guys given the opportunity would go for it. Give me a hot 23 year old who thinks I'm amazing and I'd happily stick things in her vagina all day long. There was no security breach, little risk to the country and those rapes/assaults were never convicted and didn't have compelling evidence. People make decisions based off their beliefs, Clinton wanted to bang hot women …

Not a woman, but I'm attentive, dress nicely and don't fuck around at uni. At home I wander around in boxers and am chill. Work-Home separation ftw.

Oral, it's fun and safe PiV only with women I'd be ok with raising my kid.

As a short guy, 1 and 4 are the most accurate. At 5" 2 dating was a bit of a struggle pre-accident, for most women height isn't a huge factor if he's not immediately shorter than her. I generally did ok with girls under 5" 4, a bit plain, slightly chubby etc. For 4 there's a difference between not necessarily wanting a tall guy and wanting a short guy. They generally mean that the vast majority of guys are tall enough. 2 that's not uncommon. 3 is either trying to come off nicely (lying), oblivio…

Just my opinion. If a bioguy feels/acts very feminine he will struggle, a biogirl can act very masculine with less backlash than her male counterpart, so less pressure to transition as society allows more room for masculne expression in women than feminine expression in men.

Could be worse, I might not be as mobile as I used to be, but I've got good friends and a good family. It's completely different for people who don't have a good support system in place, with a couple more surgeries scheduled and a lot more physio I should come more or less right in the end. It's harder to be bitter when friends don't stop coming. Some did, but it's been a couple of years and most of the people that said I could call them for anything can be called. I've been very lucky, most pe…

I used to be able to get casual sex, not as wild I wanted, from women who were slightly overweight a little plain, or in their 30s somewhat reliably i.e. it might take me most of the night but I'd generally get someone, but was more obtainable from FWBs than ONSs. I could get kinky sex with a decent looking bird in a relationship. I was 5"2 and deffo not anywhere near a 7.5. Now, post car accident, I can get my gay friend to suck me off because he and his husband are into that, but in terms of o…

Generic advice from a guy who used to do ok. Relationships are like friendships, if they're not giving back you stop putting in. It's good to let a girl know you're interested in more than a pretty face, but let her know you're interested after talking a few times rather than a thousand.

Love my sister but she took hours to pick out her dress for her 18th, returned it, got a different one, returned that one, got the first one, then ended up wearing one she already owned but hadn't worn before. So she never even needed to go shopping in the first place.

Mix of reasons, but in terms of Domestic violence there aren't as many resources for guys, sometimes they just have nowhere to go. Women have larger/better social networks generally so have more support and people more likely to notice. Also the wanting to be remembered pretty thing, Nanna did her makeup and dressed nice before she swallowed a handful, suicide I guess, but cancer had fucked her quality of life. Also women tend to be cautious they can take forever to make a reversible decision li…

I just meant in general, people tend to backslide into old habits rather than the new habits being hard to maintain. I was in an accident 2 years ago, and I still need another op or 2 and I can't do the exercise I used to and I still struggle with not snacking, even though I've never been overweight because I can't run it off the way I used to and since it's harder to get out the house there's always food around. I'm not sure how much I'd rely on someone staying true to their new eating habits i…

Dude here, but it's hard for people to change and maintain that change. I admire them for it, but if I was a woman I wouldn't go for that unless I was not looking for something longterm or at least halfway ok with the before.

For me those are actually kind of handy. If a woman thinks I'm hitting on her it's instant shutdown, getting to talk with women I don't know makes it less of a deal when I'm actually trying to get somewhere with a woman.

Don't spend much time on here, but deffo agree with one. Women take a while to warm up to me, but they're really supportive once they realise I know I don't have a shot and become much more into facial reconstructive surgery etc.
