Nobody should be barred from a pool but if you decide to follow certain religious principles that are incompatible with western society, then you're excluding yourself from the pool. It's like becoming a vegetarian and then complaining about the lack of options at a barbecue. Nobody is preventing you from eating, you've restricted your own options due to your choices.

You can see the full list of programs available at this pool here: http://www.toronto.ca/parks/prd/facilities/complex/2012/ There are 4 different classes for women only, none for men.

One thing I dislike about articles like this is that they never bother to attribute any remaining wage differential to men being under more pressure to earn money. Even when they're honest enough to eliminate the wage gap or narrow it down to a few cents, they still attribute the difference to some form of discrimination rather than the simple fact that men are under more pressure to earn money and therefore make decisions consistent with achieving a higher level of pay. Women value social statu…

I am sure that your IQ doesn't go past 100.

You're missing the point. You prioritize your own desires ahead of someone else's needs. You do it every single time you buy something that isn't necessary for your own survival.

Didn't read. If you want to have a discussion, you can reply to this post with writing resembling that of a mentally stable adult.

No, it really isn't a necessity. And you're still missing the point that you can replace broadband with just about anything you don't need for survival and the point remains. nd again, there is a vast difference between blowing $50 on a sporting event (which I do not do) and blowing $50,000 on a weekend in Vegas No, there isn't a vast difference. There's a difference in amounts, which makes it a difference of degrees only. The biggest difference I see is that you will never be in a position to d…

That's right, you don't need broadband. It's superior to dialup but it's not a basic necessity and we are talking about basics necessities here. Furthermore, we can replace broadband or vase with just about anything. You are not spending only what you need to survive and redirecting the rest of your funds to people who need them more, so don't act like you're any different because you're not.

Why are you spending time posting on the internet when you could be earning income to give to the less fortunate? Why do you even have internet access and a computer? They're both very useful but they aren't necessary for survival and the money you spent on them could easily help someone else stay alive. I'm pretty liberal but I actually respect conservatives more in this regard because they're at least honest about it. You're no different from them and neither am I, we just draw the line at dif…

Unless you're living like a monk who's taken a vow of poverty, chances are that you've spent a lot of money on things you didn't need and you did it using resources that could have been used to better the life of someone who needed it more. Everyone prioritizes their own desires ahead of someone else's needs, including you. According to your posting history, you recently bought a Gorillaz album. Did you actually need it? Do you have any idea how much food can be bought for $19.99 in the third wo…

Nobody needs an island. Nobody needs a castle. Nobody needs to own six houses and twelve cars. Excessive wealth also damages the holder of that wealth by causing them to be surrounded by a social bubble that prevents them I was with you up until this. You don't "need" 95% of the things you've owned or will own over the course of your life. Why not downgrade to dialup and use the money saved to keep a starving African child alive? Certainly you don't actually need all of the clothes you own or th…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
