0	Next time try supporting your own? There is a lot of speculation about the exact nature of these things, which is why I don't see it as a problem to push these boundaries and find out. Politics is infused in everyday choices unfortunately whether we are aware of it at the time or not. If it truly doesn't matter then adding more female and minority representation won't have an impact on quality overall and we will have data to back that up. -5	Next time try supporting your own? Possibly yes, but there is a belief that there are many more role models for men, especially in certain kinds of roles that others aren't exposed to. It is difficult to come from that viewpoint and see why they would see female representation as important.
