From a feminist perspective it's a "power" issue not necessarily a gender issue. But from there they can say that men have "power" so they rape women and other men in prison. Even straight men rape men in prison for dominance reasons, so it isn't too far off but it's also WAY more complicated than that in my opinion when talking about make and female rapists in the general populace

Maybe you're right, maybe its just a HUGE myth and not an ABSOLUTE myth, but the parent comment is still an outright lie, as I have shown. There's still not a single incident of someone being put on the registry for peeing in public. There are people on the registry who CLAIM they were just peeing when the court finds them guilty of something more (most likely masturbating or flashing) but no one has been charged with the offense of peeing in public and then placed on the registry. These aren't instances of urinating in public, these are instances of "public indecency", which is the only thing that public urination could potentially fall under. Human Rights Watch is significantly more credible than men's health, and more importantly it actually shows the statistics. Of the 13 states mentioned in the men's health article, only 4 of those states have more than 0 people on the registry for Public Indecency, and those that do have more than 0, 2 are in the single digits. That's my opinion. That's between you/your partner/your church. But Milo seems to think heterosexual marriage is fine but gay marriage isn't and he justified that in a weird way that doesn't take into account differences between people and their lifestyle decisions.

I think it's a lot more nuanced than that. Shit, I'm here in college still trying to figure out if I want to go into a science and which science I would want to go into. It could have very well been an experience in elementary school that pushed me in a certain direction. Honestly, in a vacuum, I have nothing really to complain about concerning this article. The school had a father-daughter dance and a mother-son science day. Thats a little weird and off-putting

This was at my school! I wish I had seen it, apparently they were there last Thursday. Looks like the crowd was in on the joke for the most part. Though we do have a lot of crazy protests going on there so I'm not surprised that some people assumed they were serious, though I've never seen anyone get attacked like that.

I don't see how this conflicts with my original statement. If it weren't for first wave feminism, they wouldn't have gotten the right to vote when they wanted to. Thus, first-wave feminism wasn't "bullshit." And denying women the right to vote is "female oppression" as much as denying men the right to vote was "male oppression."

I would agree that slut shaming is usually done by women. I would also agree that creep-shaming is also primarily done by women. However, I remain adamant that virgin-shaming is primarily done by other men. A woman isn't gonna call me a faggot for being a virgin. Actually, I don't feel "shamed" for being a virgin by anyone but if I were to be, it would probably be from another guy.

During my orientation in July there was a similar "myth-busting" section. The myth: men get raped as often as women do. The answer? "No, 99% of rape is perpetrated by a man" followed immediately by "Rape is a penetration crime". This guy said those OUT LOUD and couldn't figure out how it made no sense.

Besides the fake statistics at the beginning, he's right in a lot of places if you pretend hes talking about TRP or PUA's, which it seems he actually is just getting it confused with men's rights. The last half was a good example of what MRM is aiming for, places where young men can talk about these feelings without feeling judged.
