How much would a man have to pay for insurance to get someone stronger to follow him around and make him "feel safe"?

OK, v.reddit does not let me click to see the source of the video or even put a title on it -- what is this from? Like what's the context where she decided to say this and why did they let her talk? Anyway, I do feel like for every ten messages that we need more women in programming there should be at least one like this emphasizing how difficult it can be.

I spent 10 years at a factory with mandatory overtime. It feels like slavery and I did everything I could to give away any shift or take unpaid leave. Businesses refuse to hire new people when they can force everyone to work harder, so you literally aren't allowed to negotiate your own working hours. Even if you offered them the choice "I retire and you lose me forever, or I stay at 40 hours instead of 60."

How could you possibly get an admin job after being fired that often? A temp agency wouldn't even give you dishwashing jobs after that.

Yeah. I'm cold and calculating about women, that's why I never took the risk of one depreciating on me.

Sperjacking should be "spermjacking", for those who thought it was some kind of ambushing Aspergers' sufferers.

It was because he spelled "going" as "goying" three words before and that wasn't some kind of clever Jew/Gentile thing, it was just wrong. So I just saw word salad.

This has the rhythm of that old jump rope rhyme. Don't say 'ain't' or your mother will faint. Your father will fall in a bucket of paint. Your sister will cry. Your brother will die. Your dog will call the FBI.

Can you give an example of something else with similar heft? Is the lifting usually only during setup or do users with lighter dolls like to move them more during use?

Probably you see black comedians who are marketed to a white audience, which is the largest and most profitable. Black comedians who target black audiences will be in different channels, like Tyler Perry movies.

#2 is a bit at odds with red pill, as these women are supposed to be able to fuck Chads at any time without having to work for it.

This is interesting because we definitely do value sexy women more than other cultures did. Part of that is that there used to be these voices in the culture saying 'Hey, no, chasing women is not as good as virtue or knowledge or whatever'. But now the pressure's so strong that saying those kind of things would make you too low-status, you can't risk saying it. Compare to things like the fitness craze where it's commonly understood to be just another kind of Victorian virtue signalling and not a…

Not everybody had the Readers' Digests and Leadership magazines I had growing up. There were some weird conservative attitudes in there but there was also a lot of MGTOW wisdom. I used to see a lot of people's experiences as rookie mistakes where they should have known, but in fact men have had to communicate this stuff under the radar of the broader culture. Of course many people are going to assume marriage and providing are smart choices because so many people promote them.

Without mandatory euthanasia, what we have is mandatory caretaking. This is a terrible burden that harms the living instead of the dying. With mandatory euthanasia, we can establish a norm of dying when you are ready instead of after months of desperate and pointless medical interventions. Just voluntary self-euthanasia would be enough for me.

Somehow my job has managed to screen for a rare collection of women -- sometimes they stun me by diagnosing my problem from pure logic without looking at the code, sometimes they debug things that happened in the past through sheer reasoning about what must have changed in the meantime. They don't think in design patterns, and I don't think they could code machine vision, but neither can I.

Perma-trainee. That sounds like a feminine failure mode that I can watch for, even in a group interview where I don't ask all the questions.

For me the feelings are very powerful, but the people who generate those feelings are never the kind of people I could actually love. I'd have to overlook their personality, their age, and the fact they don't love me back; in short, I really just want to imagine them as my personal sexbot/affectionbot, and not the actual individual I would have to put up with for years. Also, beautiful tiny fashionable single white women who can code and make more than me have their pick of anyone really. I migh…

It probably actually works better if you are SJW because you go from "I agree 'macho' and 'excessively masculine' are a thing" to "Wow, what a sexist term to use." That's how I took it.

You sound like someone whose never been in a violent confrontation in their life. You have me right. Are you sure you aren't just a violent person who is always hoping for an "it's okay to use lots of violence now, they started it" opportunity? I don't think the instant disproportionate response you see in books like Ender's Game is typical in reality.

I was hoping to see a situation where a woman aggressively confronted or badly damaged a man and received an appropriate gender-neutral response. What I saw was a no-upper-body-strength one-punch tantrum and a guy who purposely chose to escalate with much harder hits and a practiced fighting posture. It's pathetic to use that on a woman, it's like the Rock suplexing a fourth grader. This guy is dangerously reactive and violent and is going to jail someday.

Like vs lust. I like women who are funny and nice and logical, but I was never able to cross that gap to actually want sex with them. I turned them all down. I don't at all doubt that women like how I'm good with babies and respectful and have my shit together, but I'm not at all surprised that they're not attracted to me over that.

I guess it's easy to believe because most people value other people for what they can get from them, and if a woman wrote a similar angry post about how men only care whether you are a hot sex doll, I'd be like "Yeah, fair cop, life sucks that way."

8% is pretty high, but assuming you get that rate, I've read that if you save $X a year for ten years from age 25-35 and stop, you end up with more money than someone who saves $X a year every year from age 35-age 65. When you're already all saved by 25, the effect must be even bigger.

Those saliva tips sound kind of gross. I'll retire a bit later if it means I get to use Liquid Silk instead of phlegm. That's a really true statement about the tradcon values affecting what seems extravagant.

This is stereotyped fake bullshit, and furthermore all of my lead developers are women and they are smart as fuck. I agree that the best programmers will be men due to obsession, abstraction, and the long tail of ability, but this is just sexist.

I don't know... he made double what I did. He still has money for very frequent overseas trips. I wonder if they split up over money. Flying to Bermuda for a weekend and going to Vegas aren't cheap, but you can blow $1000 a week when you make 120k and be OK.

I never understood, he's never shared. Maybe she wanted kids. Maybe it was a dead bedroom -- when she was drunk and flirty with him he would get uncomfortable. She moved across country and got married in maybe a year.

I have seen at least one partnership where the woman supported my friend's career moves, taught him social skills, helped figure out office politics, shared errands and so forth. She still divorced him though.

I totally agree, as long as you don't reason from "is" to "ought". To me it makes marriage even more suspect: natural selection ensures the next generation will find it more appealing even if it sucks. It could be as bad as females eating the males after sex and you would never be able to persuade the entire species that it's not okay. Because only the unpersuadables would reproduce.

If you take it to the extreme of living on Spaghetti-Os and wearing diapers or something, but I see it as just avoiding unforced errors. Will becoming a lawyer make me unhappy? Will joining a political party keep me from living freely? Then just don't do that.

Just the perspective of someone new who posted something to MensRights recently without being a subscriber: This needs to be in the FAQ so people can learn it's a policy and what the flairs mean. I searched the FAQ for "WBB", didn't find it, and decided I didn't know enough to add flair. The requirement for flair also needs to be in the sidebar, since the default is not to add it.
