That is about the split on my divorce...I was told I would make it back. Well fast forward ten years.....have lived like a college student in grad housing for a decade. Took a job traveling 220 days a year on expenses. She blew her portion of the money living way beyond her means. I put three kids through college, and saved saved saved. I paid alimony for seven years. But in ten years....I made it back times 4 from our net worth at the peak.

The scales have tipped for me as well. I divorced 8 years ago. Internet dating at that time was great, and I could get laid with little effort...finding a few keepers along the way. But today the game has changed. I found myself in Thailand with a sweet little thing which gives me everything I need without the games. American woman have lost their minds.

I divorced at 44. I was divorced raped....lucky for you, you can walk away fairly clean. I found a ton of woman online dating...but that was almost 7 years ago now. I have given up on american woman, and at 51 I have a Thai GF. She lives in Thailand...I spend every other month there. I cannot go back to an american woman....but they are out there. The online dating game has changed....and it fits more inline with MGTOW.

I am not sure you can make that generic statement... it is certainly is not conventional. Swingers would say monogamy is mentally ill.....and being MGTOW fits right into hedonistic life. (Or mental illness depending on your view). While I do not think it is sustainable in a relationship it certainly is enjoyable physically to have multiple partners.

I would not completely right off the feminine energy, but the times have changed. I also agree that a relationship affirms something within yourself. It satisfies a need to be desired and wanted by someone. I have had to go overseas to find that feminine energy as it is almost gone within America. It has been bred out of the culture.

You must get the match...do if they are matching 50% of the first 8%...you are making 50% on your money immediately. I always did that. Now I was cleaned out in the D. Since then I have been putting in 13%....which has gotten me to the max federal amount.

Max out the 401k. Live cheap, or within your means. The way to a million is not spend the 1000 a thousand times. Don't make the big long term purchases on credit. If you cannot afford a car in cash, buy the cheapest one.
