Are you fucking kidding? In what way is saying someone has a smelly, loose vagina meant to indicate that their vagina is aesthetically and physically pleasurable?

I know women who have big dick energy (not derogatory).

honestly, i wouldn't try to vet them or test them or whatever. for one, it just shows how insecure you are that you can't take someone's feelings at what they say they are. secondly, there isn't any way to really know or surefire way to find out, so you're setting yourself up for an investigation that probably won't lead anywhere meaningful. you don't want to go into a relationship already suspicious of someone's motives, it'll just sow distrust. she might not even truly understand completely wh…

just to be clear, i think this quote is dogshit and i'm not going to defend it. the reason why it needs "interpretation" in the first place is because it's a thought that is not communicated clearly. she is just saying things without any clear message or intention. you even have to add parenthetical quotations to this to support your interpretation. maybe there's more that she said before or after that clarifies things, but we're just talking about this quote in isolation. and it seems like most…

my guy, you can lift weights without an ideology. if you feel like you need some motivation that is driven by some kind of philosophy, just read Henry Rollins' "The Iron and the Soul." it's probably one of the healthiest takes you'll find on lifting and masculinity - you might have even seen it posted around fitness and weightlifting subreddits because it resonates with a lot of people. i read it years and years ago, and still come back to it. sharing the link here so you don't have an excuse no…

Lol you aren't even trying. Little piggy loves his scientific slop until it doesn't confirm his worldview. "Science" turns into "claims" so quickly when we don't like it! :(

It happens here, but there aren't as large of hurdles such as language barriers, gaps in cultural understanding, different legal landscapes, etc. Those that can spot this a mile away in their native country/culture could easily fall for it when taken out of their comfort zone, especially if you are moving with the explicit purpose of finding a girlfriend (and maybe even wife or otherwise a long-term partner). Lol dude, going from sex 0 times a year to at least 52 is quite a tall order, definitel…

There are also a lot of women who know they can prey on desperate ugly white dudes, especially if they have citizenship in a more attractive Western country. I get moving to a bigger city for dating but moving countries sounds completely wild to me. If virginity is the issue, it'd be cheaper and easier to just hire a sex worker.

i've harped on this in this sub before, but it's worth repeating: correlation doesn't mean causation. not sure what it is about social science reporting that makes otherwise intelligent people take in information so uncritically. the result may as well be "very monogamous women are satisfied with their very monogamous partnership." lol isn't it actually more alarming that even if you only fuck your future husband your entire life, you're still flipping a coin on whether you will be satisfied or …

lol i kind of go off the rails here, and i promise it's not directed at you--i'm not even really disagreeing with the core of what you said about having a nuanced view of dating. this is just a tangent that i think about a lot, i started a rant and wanted to see it through. this is a really good example of what i hate about social science research being published for mainstream consumption. in the interest of nuance, this article and the nyt article it links to leave much to be desired. what are…

kind of a "no duh" point for a lot of people who would read this, but it's so telling that it is the damaged, outcast, disenfranchised of society that are most susceptible to these types of "movements." they are desperate for community and a sense of belonging, especially one that validates their resentment (external and/or internal). not only do they offer a sense of belonging with like minded peers, but they also have a name for the community which makes it seem valid, bona fide, authentic. gr…

Having a massive weakness is pretty much the definition of fragility. It is a weakness so sensitive that it is ruining society. If masculinity were resilient, then women wouldn't be "ruining society" because masculinity wouldn't be corrupted. Sounds like the feminine agenda is rocking masculinity's shit right now and masculinity can't even be bothered to put up a fight if pussy is bringing society to its knees. So, assuming women are being strategic and tactical with enforcing their agenda, are …

masculinity is such a positive influence that is extremely easy for women, through no will of their own other than the virtue of being women, to corrupt and lead the degradation of society. sounds like masculinity is weak as shit? how can something so fragile be positive?

does he actually believe all the stuff he consumes? i mean, obviously, he repeats back what they've said, but does he know what it means? i ask because i think there are a lot of people who just don't really have an ideology, left or right. instead, they mostly just believe the most recent thing they heard that seemed like a good argument instead of trying to fit ideas and experiences into a cohesive framework. they aren't necessarily stupid but don't have a sort of "critical thinking lens" to v…

Haha I appreciate it! Jesus Christ, I didn't mean for it to be that long, looking back on it. Honestly, you're probably not too far off for them being placeholders for.. Something. I really don't know what it is. I think anyone on this type of sub can recognize that there is something wrong with society. Big things like how we date and find partners and small things like getting goddamn salt free snack options lol. Of course, everyone has their own idea of what that is, but there's an acknowledg…

The same thing anyone wants out of a partner. Someone to build and share a life with, someone that complements them, someone that is supportive of them and they can be supportive of where each person is mutually respected and cared for. Women really aren't this mysterious, unknowable force with vastly different needs or desires as men. Wanting companionship and intimacy is universal. That is something that transcends gender and sexual orientation. I'm not sure what women on reddit you're referri…

Just because they are able to be more discerning now than they have historically, out of preference and necessity, doesn't make that desire any less passionate than men feel toward women. The single women in my life want a partner, very much so. I would say it is even a top priority for them, if not the top priority. But that's the thing--while I think many men would be fine with "a woman," women want a male partner.

Gotcha, I appreciate the clarification. Are women more important? I mean, it sounds like that is the case on a personal level. You, as an individual, really want something from women which makes them the most important, powerful, valuable, etc. factor in your life. They are the gatekeeper in this case. It just sounds like this determination is made using a very narrow and personal lens. Women want men just as much as men want women. Men have just as much influence over your life as women, just n…

Glad to hear it was helpful! Posts here can be really mixed and it mostly depends on whether OP will put in a good faith effort to hear commentors feedback. Sounds like this one was a success with lots of good conversation. Something that I noticed and I'm not sure anyone really spoke to: I noticed you talk a lot about value, specifically the differences in value between men and women. There doesn't seem to be any real way to quantify or measure it though. It's supposed to be something that does…

lol what? in what way is that "changing the subject"? you are drawing a comparison and literally declaring who is/has more or less of something.

They might. So what? Lots of people are going to have various advantages and disadvantages. Let's assume women have an advantage dating: it's easier for them to find men interested in them. OK. Now what? If you go around resenting everyone that has an advantage over you, you're likely going to have a miserable, shitty little life. I guess if that's what you want or are willing to accept, then more power to you. Half the population having it "easier" isn't something you can control so why get hun…

always blows my mind that some of yall can write like this and not realize that your looks aren't the issue. women talk to you and then bail. clearly the looks aren't the problem if they can at least give you the time of day to go on a date with you or text with you. instead, they hear you speaking in binaries and that you view relationships like some sort of tabletop game or deck builder where "if you increase x stat, then you should expect y result" and "i need to min/max my strategy by relyin…

Yeah man, I don't think there's a one size fits all approach to life and I guess if this works for you then do whatever if you aren't hurting anyone. Actually, this is probably a pretty mutually beneficial arrangement all things considered. Not sure what you're hoping to get out of this, though. Weird flex, but ok.

probably not suggesting anything you haven't already considered but growing a beard can make up for a lot. glasses and good hair cuts that fit your face shape can draw attention upward instead of downward. like i said man don't let this define you, which i know is asking a lot, but i believe it can be done

possibly! i think i just want to understand what is so uniquely ugly about yours that makes it impossible to overcome. and like i said, i've seen a lot of people that i think by most metrics would be considered "ugly" still get attention. there's one dude in particular that i used to work with, i guess he's probably ugly? like - an even more homely rich evans from red letter media. dude has a gorgeous wife that i cannot figure out lol. idk, sorry, i'm just trying to understand, but i don't know …

no, really, what makes a face ugly? or, maybe more specifically, your face? fwiw, i'm pretty "face blind" in that i have a hard time distinguishing faces. i struggle with identifying actors everyone knows. you know how people are like "i'm bad at names but great at recognizing faces"? i'm basically the exact opposite of that lol

not sure how something like that could be your fault, and it sounds like you know that at some kind of intuitive level. well, unless you purposefully disfigured yourself into some kind of mr. potato head abomination. out of curiosity, what makes a face ugly? i'm not fucking with you, i feel like i genuinely don't know.

not OP - what they're saying is true but telling someone who likely has limited prospects (for whatever reason) to just "date as much as you can" is like telling a poor person to just "get more money." maybe better advice: go out and meet people. get a job that involves lots of interaction like food service. seen lots of ugly people get dates, get laid, etc. while working in food service lol
