I appreciate the point of view and have to say I have tried more than I probably should... It didn't take long for her to slip up again and again and at this point I think it's more harmful for our child to see us like this. Financially I know can be so hard.. I'm about to downgrade from a life and house I've worked so hard for because my marriage failed.. It's just life.

I think that's a very common but outdated thought, at least in my state. Courts recognize the importance of fathers in a child's life more than ever.

Thanks for your reply. We've had counseling and other arrangements in the past but some people don't change. She is rarely present in our daughter's day to day so I'm going to just keep doing what I've been doing.
