Terrible take and a non sequitur. For some reason you're assuming that's a common reason. Marriage is an important institution and commitment for the parties involved and especially the children. If giving someone more rights ends up destroying families then maybe those rights cause more harm than good. You don't happen to come from a broken home or have a learning or mental disorder do you? Trying to figure out how you came to such an awful and poorly reasoned conclusion.

Modern feminism in practice is anti-family amongst other things.

Yeah. In Canada at least, I find it rather amazing how so many people seem to accept the highly intangible and poorly constructed claim about white privilege/supremacy this, systemic discrimination that, while completely ignoring that our Charter is written to allow special treatment for minorities. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Section_15_of_the_Canadian_Charter_of_Rights_and_Freedoms#Text (1) Every individual is equal before and under the law and has the right to the equal protection and equal…

If "society is designed for men by men" as you claim, then if that were true, all of the issues that Peterson listed would be stridently fought against and rectified instead of being largely ignored like they really are. It seems you missed the point he was making.

Then your math doesn't even make sense. How does burning 35000 calories result in 10 lbs of fat lost if it's not all coming from fat? Never mind that 10 lbs of fat is more than 35000 calories. You clearly don't know the meaning of the word "need". OMG, I didn't write can instead of need so your little brain narrowed it's focus to the point of not taking in any other information or thinking in context, or thinking at all. You're being pedantic while ignoring all of the bullshit that you wrote dow…

You can lose 10 pounds of body fat without ever running or doing any form of cardio. What you should have said is "If you want to lose 10 pounds of body fat, you need to be in a caloric deficit of fx 500 calories a day for 10 weeks, which would result in a weight loss of 10 pounds. That's nowhere near enough. 10 weeks it 70 days. 70 x 500 = 35000 kcal deficit. The problem is that you're assuming that deficit is entirely coming from fat, which as you mentioned it won't be, so I have no idea how y…

With respect to body fat, you would* need to run somewhere between 400-500 miles to burn 10 pounds of fat. This is a very conservative estimate as you'll see. To be jacked I'm gonna ball park as someone being between 8-12% body fat, so figure that out with respect to a target weight. I wrote this up regarding weight (fat) loss: I would suggest doing it as fasted cardio first thing in the morning. The idea is based on respiratory exchange ratio, respiratory quotient, and exercise calculator for a…

My guess is that people that are willing to do body modifications don't care about the current state of their body. Also probably increased risk-seeking behavior and possibly dissatisfaction with their self.

There's a few things that you need to do. First reframe your perception of what porn is. Sex is fine and normal, porn isn't. Imagine if that was someone that you knew and cared about doing that on film. Second, understand why you're getting these urges. You got testosterone flowing in you and you don't have an appropriate outlet for it. Find better outlets for that energy. Third, reconfigure your environment so that it better facilitates you not engaging with porn. This might be relocating your …

If 335 was pretty close to you true 1RM then 10% less than that is about 300 lbs which would be around 90% 1RM. 90% 1RM reps is usually around 3 or 4. I have no idea why you thought 7 reps would be feasible rep target but you missed what you were aiming for because your aim was off. You actually hit the target that you should have though. Hope this makes sense.

He still is. Read the restitution part again. He fucked those people over and has not been making up for it. Ffs. A judge changed his penalty to having to pay $10k a month for the rest of his life. Do some basic math. $110M/10k = 11000 months to pay that off. He's never going to make it up to those people. I don't care if this is an ad hominem. There's far better people to support and get the same information from instead of contributing to this loser's lifestyle like a chump.

How much of his earnings have gone to that $110M in restitution that is due to the people he defrauded? Read the restitution part I linked if you haven't. There's better role models to have.

You clearly have a gut feeling on this not to go and have also taken time to look at it analytically. Sucks losing $300 but it is only money and not an excessive amount. It's pretty clear that it's not in your interest to go so I would take it as a lesson to learn from and look at it more like you had to spend $300 to learn what I hope has been a valuable lesson. Another way to look at it now that you've had time to think it over is if you think that the time you have there is going to be worth …

Shape you environment t to make your bad habits even more difficult. If you live with someone else, use a website blocker and let them set the password and agree upon a schedule. If you're alone then you need to be more drastic and make it extremely hard for you to access these time-sucking activities.

> The ancients really had more wisdom separating the sexes. Given the modern science hard-on that many liberals have (e.g. the IFL-science crowd), it's pretty ironic how quick they are to throw away traditions, given the fact that ways of doing things are often, but not necessarily, achieved empirically through trial and error. Full circle.

While this may seem like an attack on women, its important to look at the bigger picture and remember that most women do vote a certain way that is antithetical to traditional living. Before the franchise was given, what do you think was more likely Men voted for the best interests of only men and ignored women and their families, or Men voted for the best interests of their family. Moving towards a a system where the franchise is only granted to families that are productive would be a huge step…

Worrying just increases psychic entropy. Just don't do it. It's something that takes practice. To develop this skill I would encourage you to start practicing meditation. Start with guided. I use headspace but theres lots of other apps available. I think you'll find it helpful in developing the ability to clear your head so you can stay focused.

Great list. That is for compiling. Regarding prebed rituals, lately I've found that doing mobility work before bed has been a godsend. Foam rolling, mobilizing, and stretching tight/problem areas. Also using a meditation app to learn to clear your mind has helped greatly. I like headspace and the sleepcasta that have ambient noise.

I felt that I had done something wrong. Your perception is what's wrong. Barring you being married and having children or significant time spent together, splitting with someone is a good thing. For whatever reason it means that you were incompatible. Be thankful that you weren't more heavily invested in one another. This should give you pause to reflect on what that incompatibility was, e.g. was it a shortcoming on your end? If so, is it something that you think is worth addressing? If so, is i…
