Actually I think her reaction was due to misunderstanding the agreement that came with her guilty plea. She and her family were under the impression that she was receiving a different sentence. I think it ended up being changed, not sure to how much. She had to have known what could happen and still participated so she clearly deserved being held responsible for her actions. This is something that I have a problem with and have always contended that if trials were done without knowledge of the gender and race that it would be a far more fair system. If all you knew was that the perpetrator had done XX and all the evidence from both sides without knowing their gender or race, outcomes would be very different. I really wish certain cases were tried without knowing the gender. So many cases have their outcomes subconsciously affected by the fact that a man or a woman committed the crime. Whereas if you thought about a crime and didn't think of a specific gender a person would believe they should get a certain sentence. It's sad, because she is so intent on revenge and it's rooted in being jealous of how far he goes for that child. He cheated on her but loves that baby and she can't stand that he didn't care for her that much, not even understanding that that's a different relationship altogether. Fr, no one should be striking each other. But he's seated and not being intimidating with his body, seems like he's trying to not escalate the situation and she hits him. The look on her face shows she's shocked he hit her back. Um, yeah that's instinct to respond in kind when physically attacked. I have a brother, you hit, you get hit back.
