I’m sorry, I’m just confused here.

So are you saying trans people just inherently aren’t as valid in their genders as cis people? Sorry if I’m getting this wrong, that’s just what I’m getting from what you’re saying here.

Testosterone impulses… right… And the trans women who go on hrt?

Why do you think that is? Why do you think people are so concerned with trans women over trans men?

I guess I can’t force you to listen to other people. Have fun in your little solo world :)

Ok, I get that you don’t think about us that much. I don’t blame you for that. But since you are presumably cisgender, I’d prefer if you listened more to trans people when giving your opinion? You seem uninformed. I’m not saying that to be mean in any way. But what you’re saying is like, Fox News logic, just elaborated upon.

It just seems strange to me that this is directed mostly at trans women. Why is the focus on them? Surely if (and that’s a big if) autogynephilia is a major problem, then there must be something like autoandrophilia must be a problem in the trans man demographic, right? Why is it, in my experience, only ever seen as a threat towards womanhood? And this isn’t even getting into the fact that gender presentation does not equal gender identity. There are plenty of feminine men and masculine women, a…

What is your stake in this? Why do you care so much about trans people? I suppose I can’t say you can’t think a certain way, but your way of thinking is reminiscent of logic that is directly harmful to the community. Is your first thought, when you see someone in a dress who has an Adam’s apple, “they are receiving sexual gratification from existing and presenting as they are!?” Because people paint us out to be perverts and use that to harm us. Being transgender is not a sexual thing. It’s just…

Not saying you can’t. I’m just saying that from my perspective, you’re judging people who you don’t know, and who haven’t done anything wrong to you.

I have googled it. And I found sources to debunk it. Btw, have you considered the wider trans experience, not just that of transfems? I’m transmasc, and I’m also aroace. It has nothing to do with sex. Are AMAB people only driven by sex to you? Plus, even if they are driven by a kink, then as long as they practice it safely and don’t do sexual things to others without consent, I see absolutely nothing wrong with that. Sex is a natural thing that some people want. There’s nothing inherently evil a…

Also, here’s an in depth post on “autogynephelia” which mentions several problems with the theory, including how it’s weirdly biphobic towards trans women.

Ok, it’s just weird that you seemingly disapprove of people who are theoretically living their happiest lives.

Who does it hurt? I’m serious, if someone wants to be called a woman, why not call them a woman if they would be genuinely happier that way? I don’t believe in “Most trans people are just people with fetishes” because I am trans and me being trans has nothing to do with the act of sex or being aroused. But theoretically, if someone wants to live as a woman because they would like it more and be happier that way, then who are you to control that person?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
