I think you would be suprised just how many have actually faced sexual assault (not necessarily rape). It's an extremely common experience for women, hence why it's a topic that's largely focused on. I would suggest speaking to some women you know about this to see their perspectives.

I literally listened to your point and said thanks and it changes my perspective on things. Pretty sure that's showing empathy and basic statistical understanding. And if you read all of my other comments, you'll also see I never called anyone names or said anything mean. I acknoweldged there's an issue with male SA. I was simply explaining the OP's post and going off my 'basic statisical understanding' I have from all the studies I have know. and how it applies. No need to call someone an idiot…

A single brain cell would also help you understand. If 99% of assaults against women are committed by men, then it's just more efficient to say "it's always men". Why should I avoid generalisations in this specific context? People know there are always exceptions. That's what a generalisation is: "Generalizations are based on observed data and allow for exceptions".

Actually the study is interesting. I've only had a chance to skim it but it does change my perspective on some things, so thank you for showing me that. But damn sorry for not spending my days waiting for people on reddit to respond to me lmao maybe you need to do the same and take a break from this shithole.

They don't 'make themselves very available to us'. This is just nonsense. Women are not a monolith.

No, it's not about being a virgin/sex. It's about relationships. Women are not attracted to men who don't know how to be in a relationship. If you haven't had any relationship by your mid-30s then there's probably a bad reason why. So unless the lack of a relationship can be explained by something (health/career etc), women are going to think there's something off about you if no other woman has wanted to date you. It also doesn't mean all women will think this way, nor does it mean women won't …

Because women aren't mind readers and can't tell if someone is into them unless you show some interest. Most men show interest, so if a man is showing none, then a women is definitely not going to flirt with them as they'd already assume he's not interested. Yes, you're right - watch what they choose. Redpill women choose redpill men and vice-versa. Non-pilled people choose other non-pilled people. Just be a decent human being and make your interest known. If they don't like you, then they're no…

I disagree. I don't know where you're getting that info from but I haven't met a woman ever who's been concerned about a guy's lack of 'body count'. I've actually found the opposite. Women would much prefer low body count, just like men, because we're all human beings with jealousy. But if a man hasn't even had a relationship (regardless of if there was sex or not) by the time they're in their 30s, then yeah that's a red flag (unless there's a legitimate reason for it like focusing on their care…

So anything you don't like is now 'policing'? No one is stopping you from saying it. You can still say it. It's just more a case of pick a better time/place. If someone was discussing child SA, you wouldn't jump in a comment and say "Well, it happens to adults too!!!!", would you? And you would get called out for it. It's just a matter of commonsense.

It's a red flag if you're 35, not 25.

Don't listen to this please and don't start getting into redpill nonsense about being stunted, high value, low body counts, or 'power', etc etc, all that nonsense. Going by your amount of friends, especially female, it sounds like you're a nice person to be around and treat everyone like a human being already, not some sexist game/puzzle like this commenter i'm responding to. So, as a previous poster said, it sounds like you just need to be more forthcoming when it comes to your romantic interes…

I think the issue is poor communication skills. Instead of saying, "Sorry you went through that. I've been through it too as a male", etc, you just get men going, "It happens to men too!!!". There's no acknowledgment of an OP's situation, no care given, just straight to, "But what about men!".

I'm not trying to backtrack. I think you're talking about the victim and I'm talking about the perpetrator-to-victim stats, so there's some confusion here. Otherwise I honestly don't know how you're reading what I'm saying? I'm not saying ALL men are perpetrators of SA. I'm not saying ALL victims of SA are women. I'm saying for the WOMEN who are VICTIMS of SA, MALES are main the PERPETRATORS of this. The point is, this isn't about you. It's not denying horrible things happen to men. It's not den…

What are you even talking about? Is it not statistically true that most SA is against women and most perpetrators are men? This is literally just a fact. What is the problem here?

Where's the issue here? Statistically, it's true. It's not all men though. Can you not see the difference?

What? Nowhere in those sentences has that commenter denied that SA happens to males. They're saying that men don't talk about it unless women are talking about it first (which may or may not be true, but this is just based on those people's experiences), not that SA iteslf doesn't happen.

We must be talking about different things, becasue the posts I see aren't saying ALL men do it. It's not demonizing an entire gender. It's saying its ALWAYS men who do it AGAINST women. There is a big difference there. The pushback is becuase it's a pervasive issue and having someone comment and not even acknoweldge that it's an issue before changing the topic to their issue derails the conversation., as I gave in the example above.

First of all, it depends on how/what you say. If you're acknowledging the issue being discsused and then share your story (not to try and 'outdo' women, but to just show that you can relate, then there is never an issue. But if you just come in and say "NOT ALL MEN" or "men get SA'd too" etc etc. It's not helpful. It does derail the topic at hand, which is specifically SA against women. You put "mostly affects women" in quotes, so I assume you're disagreeing with that part of my statement. But s…

It's not denying male SA happens and is an issue. It's not saying that ONLY female SA happens. It's saying, don't hijack something that's meant to bring awareness to a very pervasive issue that affects the majority of women. It's like talking to someone who's crying and tells you they've had a terrible day. They want to vent and discuss, they want support and reassurance. And then you come along and go, "Well, I've had a bad day too!!!". It's just not the best way to communicate tbh. Like, you'r…

Feminist here! Literally just stumbled onto this sub randomly and now I'm curious what being a red pill woman is. I can't answer your question but is there something you want to discuss? Happy to have an open convo!

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
