You are merging two different concepts. A woman being smart (i.e. above average IQ) is not the same as being a high earning doctor or lawyer. She can be intelligent with a bachelor's in early childhood development and be above average in looks and land a high earning man. It's more about being a good wife and mother, more so than her earning potential. For women to be successful in male dominated fields, they tend to need to develop more masculine traits, like being less agreeable and more deman…

Man perspective here. This has NOTHING to do with you, or means that he doesn't love you. What you walked in on was a (private) conversation that did not have the proper context. Had you had this conversation directly with him, you could have gotten a better understanding of what he actually means. In short, all men (young, old, tall, short, fat, skinny, single, or married) will find women other than his partner attractive. What you heard was a part of a conversation between two men. You did not…

I agree with this take (man here). These are desirable traits in a long term relationship. But these traits alone won't "attract" a man. But they are helpful over the long haul to deal with life's ups and downs (i.e. loss of a parent, stress at work, etc.). When it comes to attracting a man, it still comes down to two things/aspects: 1) Attractiveness. This is not hard fast for all men, but in general, it comes down to fitness (being a healthy weight for your height/build). Most men don't want a…

I'd say it's best to take a step back and ask yourself what your husband actually WANTS? Or better yet, ask him? I would venture to guess that if he wanted a high earning, corporate, go-getter, ball busting wife, he'd have no trouble finding one. I'd be willing to bet, dollars to doughnuts that he found, fell in love with, and married, exactly the type of woman he had always dreamed of. If you want to "so more", then ask what (if anything) you can do more of to make him happy. Chances are, you'r…

Man opinion here: I don't think you are even asking the right questions. My question for you: why would you stay in a relationship for 2 years with a man who is so controlling and has such low self esteem? Secondly: why were you in a 2 year long distance relationship? Long distance (usually) doesn't work. The only time it works well is if there is a finite end date or a milestone when it will stop being long distance. Basically, if you aren't moving to him in X months, or he moving to you, it is…

Man opinion here: 35 isn't 90! Your life is NOT over. It is not a choice between an @$$#0le or dying alone. You can always get back in the gym, and at least be an attractive 35 or 36 year old woman. There will always be PLENTY of 35, 40, & 45 year old men that would jump at the chance at a 35 year old feminine RPW. That said, you need to decide if you can love with (for the next 50-60 years) a husband who respects you so little that he will constantly step out on the marriage. Or whether you lov…

Man POV here. I am not going to lie to you and say "looks don't matter", because they absolutely do. However, it depends what kind of man you want to marry. If you want to be the next Mrs.Tom Brady, then you'd better look like a super model. But if you are happy to love care for and respect a hard working accountant or Finance Manager at the local Chevy dealership then you don't need to be a model. But you do have control over how you play to your strengths. *the ladies here can give much better…

I am going to counter that perspective. It is more about selecting the right type of man. This is just an example: Chad is a good looking, 6'4", single, doctor, with chiseled abs, a witty charm, and is your age. Chad is sweet and really likes you, but Chad is in no rush to start a family. He just wants to enjoy your company and thinks you are the perfect girlfriend. Brad is an average looking, 5'8", single, accountant, with a little bit of belly flab (skinny fat), a little too nice and available…

You seem to be more interested in the proposal/ wedding, as opposed to finding the right kind of man who wants to find a wife and mother of his children. You should date more purposefully. Also, why the focus on the proposal itself, and not the life of being a wife and a mother? The proposal lasts seconds, the engagement lasts months, and the wedding lasts a few hours. And then starts the rest of your LIFE together. I say that to focus on the long term outcome you want. This will help you seek a…

Sometimes it is hard for us to see the red flags inside our own relationships. We tend to be biased, because we are so infatuated with the other person. You say your father does not approve. Has your father told you why? I doubt it is due to the age gap (not that big of a gap). My guess is your father (as a man), can see some traits or characteristics in your partner that you cannot see. You should reach out to him. *I am assuming your dad loves you and you love him too. I am also assuming your …

The first step is admitting you have a problem. I commend you for your sobering self critique and taking that long hard look in the mirror. So much of our mood is about how we choose to feel. You've pointed out that much of your predicament is about the choices you make. Nothing about about what you explain seems unsalvageable. If your husband is still doing his part and still giving 100%, there is no reason to throw in the towel. If you need some motivation, just imagine how your life would be …

What you see as "light hearted conversation", he may see as "pestering/nagging". You did a great job in your post at laying out YOUR needs, YOUR wants, and YOUR time-line. You did not share what HE is feeling, what HE wants, when HE wants it. Have you asked him why he thinks he is not ready now? Is it fear of financial insecurity? More things he wants to do in life? But to be 1,000% honest, based on your original post, if I were him, I'd be terrified about the lack of security in the relationshi…

Male perspective here. I'm sorry to say, but I think your husband is just on a different (male) time-line. A lot of men don't even really star considering children until mid to late 30s. By 40, your husband will probably be "ready". It really sucks, but some men really want to put all of their ducks in a row, check off all the "fun" things on their bucket list, and get ready to kiss freedom goodbye before they want to tackle the challenges of fatherhood. It sounds like that is where your husband…

Man perspective here: Men are just wired differently. When a man (mature man) decides to have a family (even before the kids arrive), he makes an implicit decision to put the wellbeing and safety (both physical and financial) at the top of his list. All other pursuits, hobbies, activities become secondary to his primary role as the leader of his family. Also, are you sure he "enjoys" these other pursuits/activities? I know many men who are more homebodies. We like to be the king of our castles. …

Well, I respectfully disagree. We don't know this young man. We don't know if he ever played sports or was an authentic in High School or College. We don't know what he does for a living. Also, I never said it was hard or difficult for a young man to be in shape. But being in shape isn't an "accident". He could have a lousy diet. My point was him being chubby is a "fixable" issue. There are so many men who are toxic, abusers, cheaters, or straight losers. If this young man's ONLY issue is 20 ext…

This may come off as a bit harsh (it is not meant to be), but are you sure you deserve this man? He sounds like a great guy, and from the way you talk about him, he will only get better with age (i.e. more money, more respect in society, could always get a gym membership, etc.). He sounds like the kind if young man that will be a wonderful husband and future father. Its the type of man a lot of single mothers or divorced women wish they had locked down back when they were in college. You are thi…

I think you need to understand a bit more about the concept of "settle". I think both men and women are forced to "settle" in different ways. Most men "want" to marry a Sports Illustrated swimsuit model. However, we all have to realize, that unless our last name is Clooney or Trump, there is a fat chance of that happening, unless we are worth millions. So we are limited to choosing among the women we date. Out of those women, we must balance not only who we are most attracted to physically, but …

Remember, a man wants his home to be a place of peace and solace. The last thing he wants after working hard to bring home a big fat paycheck is a long list of chores to do. If that is the case, he would rather live alone, hire a maid, and have his peace. Got to pick your battles wisely.

Is he asking for you to increase from $500 to $600 per month to offset additional expenses due to home ownership? $600 for "rent", water, electricity, heat, etc. does not seem too outrageous. Instead of thinking about it as going toward his "mortgage", think about it as going towards the other bills for the house (variable expenses, utilities, etc.) Two thoughts here. First, where are you two in regards to marriage talks? If you were already engaged, you should be on the deed too. I can understa…

I'm going to go out on a limb here... based on everything you have shared, you are too good for him and he doesn't deserve you. You want to build "his" business for both of your benefit and he treats you like the annoying coworker who bothers you all day while you try to get work done. A male perspective here. First, sorry you had to go through these horrible instances. There is no excuse for that behavior. I'd like to start by saying TRP or any group does NOT speak for "Men" or all men, or even most men. We are all individuals, with our own backgrounds, experiences, morals, and values. Also, please understand that what you are witnessing in these forums are often "black pill" men. Or men who, for whatever reason, have had negative experiences that have made them angry toward …

I'm happy to agree to disagree. However, I don't see your point. When a single mother gets pregnant and left by a Chad, we are happy to say she should have chosen a better partner and waited until marriage to carry a child to term. Why is it when I try to hold one of our own accountable for dating a trashy woman, you start white knighting for a grown man who can speak for himself? My intent was not to beat the poor guy up. But instead to offer a different perspective. We can post, march, sign pe…

Okay, don't downvote me too hard, but I have a different perspective on this one. The problem isn't society, as we can't change other people. We can only change who we allow into our lives. Your mistake was dating a loud mouthed drama queen. She reminds me of the type of girl to call the cops and get false allegations on a man out of spite. Glad you learned a lesson, but know that no matter how much we complain, society won't change and white knights and simps will always have a place among us. …

Okay, so let's flip this around. She says "I'm on the pill" (*or shot, patch, tubes tied, post menopausal, etc), and the man only consents to unprotected sex because he was told she was on the pill (or other form of birth control). If she gets pregnant (under these false pretenses, with proof of said misrepresentation), and it is later determined that she lied, isn't that the same as "stealthing"? Not to sound harsh, but this is kind of a dumb question. Men and women are biologically different. That's like asking what's the male equivalent of menstruation, or what's the male equivalent of 9 months pregnancy. On the opposite end, a woman will never know what it feels like to get kicked in the testicles. Some things have no equivalent, and that's okay. Biology doesn't have to be equal or "fair". Full transparency, a man's opinion here. Best thing you can do for him (and for you), is to seek therapy/counseling, with a professional. This way, instead of "dumping" this like it's a weight off your chest, it can be as casual as saying, "I broke my arm while playing on the swings when I was 8." Those jobs roles were meant to be satire/humor. She could any job. Even a stripper or OnlyFans (if she was good at it). Again, I'm not speaking of the wholesomeness of the payday loan industry. I am speaking to the lack of accountability. You can't agree to a 35% interest rate on Monday, then complain about how "unfair" it is on Friday. That's like a rich guy who marries a gold digger complaining that she only wants him for his money. My only point is that adults have choices and enter into any contract freely and willingly (assuming no mental disorder, such as dementia or autism, etc.).

You can't go to a payday loan place (pretty much a modern day loan shark), and then be surprised that they charge crazy high interest rates and fees. I'm commenting on the victim mentality. Ad an adult, you must take accountability for your actions. If you enter into a contract without reading it, you can't be surprised (or cry foul) when the terms aren't in your favor. That's called life. And if you want money to feed your family, go out and get a JOB. And no, OnlyFans pornography doesn't count…

I think a lot of people confuse MGTOW with full on monk mode. Here's a novel concept... "Chad and Tyrone" are MGTOW! Think about it. Chad and Tyrone don't care if a woman leaves, or doesn't call back. They have an abundance mindset and don't really want to be tied down. Now, some may mess up and get a random chick pregnant and get stuck paying child support. Other than that, Chad and Tyrone always put themselves first, and never go chasing after any single woman. I wholeheartedly (and respectfully) beg to differ. Part of being the best version of yourself includes gaining knowledge about different aspects of the world in which we live. One could choose to put on blinders and be ignorant to the ways of any topic (in this case women). Yes, you got it 100%! Most men (who are open to the idea of a relationship) would want kids and a family. We aren't looking for a dude with "girl parts". We want a women (some of us). Just not one who will ruin our lives. So instead we choose to live the free agent lifestyle, go out own way, or live monk mode, because sadly, most of the time, the juice isn't worth the squeeze.

You basically just described a man (aka a masculine female). Most masculine females are attracted to feminine men. And most masculine men are NOT attracted to masculine women. We don't want a homeboy with a vagina. As much as you try to describe it as a benefit, you ticked off a woman that would be stuck in the friend zone for life. No matter how attractive, there would be no romantic chemistry. And this does not sound like the woman a man would want to be the mother of his children. Men and wom…

Nah, you have to read between the lines. When a woman sees long term potential in a man (beta bucks), she will often try to display (false) purity and virtue by making him wait. Conversely, when she sees a guy as just a hot hook up (Aloha Seed), she will throw caution to the wind almost immediately. Plus the cost of fees, brakes, and tires. *I'm too scared I'll lay down my bike, so don't track it. I might look into a track school that provides the bikes. I know they have some good ones for cars.

NICE!!! Mind me asking the price and whether you needed full leathers? Like was it a full on track day (tire warmers and the whole 9), or a casual "slow" lap or two?

While Beta Brad is taking her out on dates, and trying to create a "meaningful connection", Chad is blowing her back out and spraying baby batter all over her face! *I just hope she washes her hair before Brad takes her out on romantic date number 8. Or he might get Chad seed on him when he gets his nice hug goodnight.

He has amassed a fortune of: $127,000,000,000.00 This took him a lifetime to earn... And just lost half of it, in an instant, with the utterance of the phrase, "I'm not happy!" 😭

Sounds like you need to focus on making a good life for yourself and leave them behind. I'm not sure how old you are, but there is always a stint in the military, followed by using the GI Bill for college or technical training. Then get a good career, earning decent money to fund a great life for yourself. Best of Luck!

Beta Brad takes her out (and probably pays$) on seven dates, with zero physical interaction. She claims to really like him. All of a sudden, in walks Alpha Chad, and she is swept off of her feet on date two. But it's not her fault (zero accountability). It's because of the pandemic curfew of course. And if it wasn't that, it would be the alcohol. Who wants to bet that she didn't use protection? If she gets knocked up, she will be another single mother asking, "what happened, where did all the go…

"four-inch revolver" "a small .22 caliber revolver that was fully loaded with five rounds" "officers failed to locate the 4.6 ounce North American Arms revolver stashed in her body orifice" Picture of the pistol is included in the original story on the smoking gun (no pun intended) website.

So 5, 5, and 5? Wouldn't that lead to just being "average"? Well, that sucks. ☹

*Pro Tip: wear a large set of over the ear (old school) noise canceling head phones. It sends a clear signal that you didn't come to chit chat and are all abo It your gains. All you'll get is eye contact and an occasional smile.

Can you really place the blame on the step dad? I would guess that he got 99% of his information from the same mom who brainwashed a 9 year old. I doubt that, as she was monkey branching, she was truthful to the poor sap who became her second husband.

I don't know that your question is actually an open ended question. You make a supposition, stated as fact, and ask for an opinion on said position. First one has to assume that their is a bar, than one has to agree that said bar is low, in order to even answer your question. I would like to propose a question to you. Is there in fact a "bar" for men? Personally, I would argue that the number of proverbial "bars" reach infinity. Hear me out for a moment. Take one individual woman. Based on her p…
