Your day should NEVER be free. An awesome man has every day packed with awesome shit to do. Needed to hear this today. I get the follow-up comments but this is still gold for me.

I went back and read your post from a year ago. You went looking for trouble here. And you're getting jealous over her former Chad and pictures. That says more about your frame of mind than hers. She's an alpha widow, of course she can't forget her old flame. She never will. You've been around for awhile, you should know that AWALT. There are no unicorns. Being a bitch about her old pictures doesn't make you look good. Focus on yourself. Make yourself the prize. Boost your self-worth. Then this …

This is a great post, agreed on all points. And I'm enjoying the hamstering in some of these comments. Now's a good time to remind the hamsters that TRP is a discussion of sexual strategy. LIFT or gtfo. It increases your sexual attractiveness to women, it increases testosterone, stick with it and you'll see the muscles grow. It matters to women. It's a valid and effective sexual strategy. MGTOW the subreddit is a wasteland of incels and he-man women haters. If you want to go your own way, do it,…

You're 20. Take a deep breath, it's gonna be alright. Get serious about the sidebar to fix the man, don't make women your mission. About the body fat, I use an app called MyFitnessPal that makes it easy to track calories, carbs, fats, and proteins every day. Track everything you eat, stick to simple goals, don't eat sugar, no soda, drink water 60 oz a day, lift like your life depended on it. You'll get lean. You're 20 ffs, you'll be ripped in no time. Lift.

I'm reading MMSL right now for the first time, I just finished the chapter on beta traits. The way you are using "beta" is different than the way Kay uses it in his book. Intentional? You can see why newbs internalizing the sidebar would be confused by your post when MMSL says "The solution remains as always, that a husband has to balance both Alpha and Beta to sustain a marriage." And "The goal is to develop both your Alpha and Beta traits, ...."

I got to pile on. Do not marry her, do not allow yourself to be manipulated by her bullshit. She is playing you for her financial insurance. She is plotting and then confiding in Tom about the trap she is laying, rather than having a real conversation with you. Why would you want to marry a woman like that? AWALT. Jesus dude, do not marry this woman. You are far too young to even think about it. You will regret it. MRP sidebar, lose your scarcity mentality.

This gives me hope bro. I discovered RP in my fifties, been working hard on lifting and sidebar, I plan to keep at it for the rest of my life, it's made a big difference in my mental frame, my energy level, my attractiveness, responsiveness from women, and my social life. No way I'm going to stop.

IT engineer here. It's because we usually live in our heads, usually value smarts over attractiveness, usually don't lift like our lives depended on it. None of that gives a woman tingles.

Do you cut off your contacts and start from scratch with more high value men? Or keep these friendships as they can help you out in the future? Both. No need to cutoff contact if these relationships will serve your overall mission. Use them, befriend them in a co-worker manner, bring them doughnuts, they'll love you, emulate their IT competence but don't emulate their low-value lifestyle. In the mean time, yes find men in or out of the workplace who are also high-value, who share your drive. Mak…

Week 5 Tough week, Mrs. STBX had an acute medical condition that required two surgical procedures in two days, I spend a lot of time at the hospital, missed a workout day, missed my dentist intake appointment but I'm on a wait list, missed my weekly guy meetup, missed too much sleep. Pleased with myself though that I was the Captain throughout, stayed in my frame, getting done the things I knew needed to get done while FO was incapacitated. Achieved made 2x lift workouts set my initial appointme…

I do not really have any guy friends that I can honestly have deep conversations like these You're not alone in this, a lot of guys find themselves in this situation. Could very well be due to your childhood and how you were raised or weren't raised. That's how it is with me. Maybe read or re-read NMMNG? Figure out what you want your mission to be and do that, that's where a lot of guys find their "happiness" for lack of a better word. Maybe volunteer work. Male friendships doing guy things (end…

Anyone have any advice or opinions after getting a vasectomy? I had one after fathering a small tribe, so it was a clear "yes do this" for me. If you're sure you're done with making babies, a vasectomy makes sense. If you have any hesitation, I'd advise against it until your head is clear. Think of it as permanent. The discomfort was real but not terrible. Stay off your feet, frozen bag of peas to the groin, don't ride your ten-speed or climb any stairs for awhile. I am not a doctor.

Week 4 Age 54 Achieved: - almost done reading NMMNG - made 2x gym workouts plus a hotel fitness center workout with dumbbells - still holding frame using WISNIFG tools, STFU, 100% avoided DEERing, staying on mission - met diet goals 6 days but overloaded one day on the road by about 750 cals, too much fat calories - using an OXO kitchen scale now to keep it honest with food measurements - got my adult daughter moved out of my house - got contacts, no longer have to wear eyeglasses all the time -…

Like a weight in the gym, it’s value is worthless until you PICK IT UP AND PUT IT DOWN A COUPLE OF THOUSAND TIMES. This right here will be in my head every day I hit the gym. I'm a newbie at lifting, already seeing tiny gains and new muscle definitions, can't wait to see what happens with thousands and tens of thousands of lifts.

Fellow engineer/scientist here. When this trips you up, consider the evidence in the natural world. If you're familiar with bucks and does, you see the obvious difference. Look at primates, obvious difference between male and female. Look at any other mammal, obvious difference in roles and behavior. What we've been sold as 'equality between the sexes' is a blue-pill myth, an ideology that the human race is trying out and will fail like a lot of other ideologies humans try out. You'll have the a…

Mating in Captivity, Esther Perel. I found this incredibly insightful and VERY in line with MRP in general. Gave me a ton of food for thought. This book was assigned to my wife and I during couples counseling. I devoured it, noticed that it was more red pill than I expected, and it was written by a woman so my wife couldn't denigrate it as mansplaining. It was the one good thing that came out of that counseling. The therapist wouldn't talk about the book and approached counseling as though she h…

Thanks. If you attract dried up cunts now, why fuck with your resources via a divorce if you can become better and enter the meat market with a clean apron and sharpened tools? Would you spell that out in plain terms? I'm not sure I follow what you're saying. Yes, my goal is younger, hotter, tighter. I have a good income, a good career, hot car, can afford overseas vacations, I have a great house in a prestigious location and I pay the mortgage myself. My wife's name is on the title with me, so …

MyFitnessPal is helping me with meal planning. First few days was recording all the crap I was eating (so much fat from cheese). Then I hit a day where I nailed my goals. Now I can just go look at that day and repeat. I have a road trip coming up, I can use that day to plan for food on the road so I continue to hit my goals. Save $$$ and keep the BF melting.

I don't believe a fucking word any of them said Bingo. The red pill is starting to work. I'm all for e-books for entertainment, I recommend paperbacks and have a pen handy when reading for self-work. You can re-read and meditate on the printed message and make notes in the book. I bet the sleep and stress will improve as you do the work here. Did for me and I'm pretty new.

Week 2 Age 54 Achieved: - halfway through WISNIFG - BF measured at 20.8% - made all 3x gym sessions for muscle mass and BF reduction, got a trainer for 2x a week for three months. Doing compound lifts. - got my eye Rx renewed, ordered contacts - kept up with weekly guys meetup - lunch date with new female - good STFU, put into practice some WISNIFG tools (fogging, negative assertion) during wife's hamster session about the relationship, did not DEER, very calm - installed MyFitnessPal, use it ev…

Confirmed. I just started a 3x a week gym routine and owning my diet with MyFitnessPal. I haven't been this energized in years and I'm not looking back. Edit: And it gets me out of the house and around motivated people 3x a week plus whenever I feel like.

Seeing her go full awalt/bratty child made me completely lose respect for her. I can relate. I've lost respect for my STBX after hearing her hamstering and AWALT meltdowns. It used to drive me crazy and I'd dive into DEER sessions and couples therapy with her, all useless. But this is the OYS thread so here goes: I pedestalized her. I put a kind of respect on her that was misapplied. The respect I lost for her should never have been there. I did this because I did not understand women, I was a b…

Thanks for the link, I will get my T checked. Had no idea how important that is. Had my first meet with the trainer today, before that I wouldn't have known what "compound lifts" were but I do now. After stretches he took me right over to the free weights, no cable machines. Deadlifts, chest presses, squats, forgot the name of the other thing, pulling weights up to squeeze the shoulder blades together. Thanks for the notes, I'm paying extra attention to not hurting myself and concentrating on fo…

Yes. My beta frame was about chasing tail. I'm working to change that to being the prize and abundance, so my sight isn't on side chicks right now. I have work to do. Plus, that's a lot of opsec for an old guy who is revolutionizing his life. If I attracted some tail and the opsec was a lock, yes I would do that. Not leaving my house, it's just a contingency plan and probably was bad advice from the guy. I'm not doing anything along those lines until I've consulted with a vetted male divorce att…

Roger that. When I re-read what I wrote, I recognized that I side-stepped the root cause of my problems - me. Angry "about the failed marriage" ... s/b angry "that I fucked myself." Looking forward to results from consistent lifting. I need to know more about diet.

That's what I'm talking about. The world is my fkn oyster, just need to get this ring off my finger. I'm paying off the credit card debt and then putting money into the FU fund. Got a buddy lined up for a place to stay if need be when I pull the trigger. About the diet - is that a muscle mass building diet? I need to gain muscle and I don't know fk about that. Hoping my trainer will have some guidance. I'm part way in to WISNIFG.
