Seriously. The only guys I know that are single are women hating overweight men who are only interested in 10 years younger slim attractive women that of course has no interest to date an old overweight misogynistic dude. All other guys that I know who are nice and normal human beings are in relationships, also the ones that are not conventionally attractive, because guess what there are also women who are not conventionally attractive and that will gladly date someone similar to themselves.

It’s really bad but doesn’t it have some truth to it? It’s almost impossible to find a guy who is both good at sex AND reliable enough to settle down with. Women can easily be both sexy and reliable while most men are either one or the other. Why???

I want sex as much as men BUT not just with anyone. The guys I’m friends with I see only as friends and the longer I’m friends with them the less I would ever consider a relationship. I do get offended when it seems these so-called friends only talk to me because they are hoping for something more, and I don’t mean sex, but a relationship. Ive been clear with them, saying that I only see you as a friend and if that’s not enough then we should stop talking. I never use them and make sure to retur…

I bet you it’s all in his head and the female friend is just that…. A friend. When I was more naive I had several older male friends that I purely saw as friends. In my head they were “safe” compared to guys my own age because someone so old and unattractive couldn’t possibly think that it could ever be anything more than friendship. Of course now I know what was going through their minds and understand why all of sudden they would go weird on me and stop the friendship. Now I feel disgusted by …

True. On the other hand we are all victims of this patriarchal propaganda bullshit. And most men in their forties don’t believe they will find someone in their twenties but they do think they can find someone maybe 5-10 years younger, and many women play along with this idea. I think some of these men could be redeemable with proper education. But yea, there’s probably no hope for people like the poster in the screenshot!

Yes it’s embarrassing that we have been conditioned to think that we owe a man something, even if he just buys us a drink at a bar, and that men can get angry and aggressive if they don’t get anything in return. Do they think we are all 10€ cocktail prostitutes.

These kinds of thoughts are also very damaging to men. I’ve met many men in their forties who really want children and just can’t understand why they can’t find anyone willing. They are looking for younger women who surprise surprise are not interested in dating some old dude. Meanwhile women their own age might not be able to have children or have already had children or don’t want children at all. Men have to realise they also have a deadline for having children and that once you’re in your fo…

Lol yea if you only eat microwave meals. A healthy meal takes at least 30-40 min PER meal, not including cleaning up afterwards. Now I’m imagining you must be some overweight dude that has only had takeaway and never cooked a proper meal lol. And also so called “low skilled” house labour is harder physically than a desk job, and unpaid! Then we get back to the original argument that being single is much preferable for most women, especially the older generation that has to deal with men like you…

How long does it take to kill a spider versus cooking and cleaning for two people every day, not to talk about perhaps taking care of children 🤔 At least it seems younger generations of men take on a bit more responsibility around the house. But this post was specifically about people over 40 and for that age group men are absolutely awful. They are old enough to have this idea of the woman taking care of the house and children alone, maybe because their mothers were housewives, yet they also ne…

Because they expect a free maid plus half their expenses paid? Seriously, listening to my uncle (boomer) when he gets a new girlfriend makes me want to throw up. “Finally a woman in the house, finally good home cooked food, finally someone to clean up”. Ah so that means she doesn’t work and you pay for everything? Nope, she also pay half of all expenses. lol, no thanks.

Nah, mostly men age worse because they don’t take care of themselves. All women I know moisturise, brush their teeth twice a day etc. Men, not so much. Also, all older women I know have no issues attracting men so pretty sure it’s bs.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/21 08:42 PM

Seems pretty logical. People who are single for a long time (and unhappy about it) probably are aiming too high, which is fine if they don’t complain and act like dicks about it. But in my experience there are men who become angry individuals because of this. So in those cases, find someone on your level instead of crying about it and blaming all women.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/21 06:36 PM

Yes! ALL women have experienced abuse so it’s pretty much all men. And the rest just sit back and complain that it’s “not all men”, which intensifies the problem.

And? Sexual compatibility is one of the main elements in a healthy relationship, and it’s important for both men and women. It’s equally important for both genders, just in different ways, many women might not get much out of casual sex but I bet most women, if they have the option, will choose a long term partner they are attracted to and that is good in bed. (This of course excludes men and women on the asexual spectrum who don’t care too much about sex)
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/21 07:19 PM

Hmm sex is very important to some women (many women? Most women?)

Guys on bumble think because women have to write first it means women have to do all the work and treat them like a princes lol, just check the bumble subreddit. I guess it hasn’t crossed their minds that it has more to do with protecting women from unwanted messages. Also, many guys appear to get offended if you simply start with a “Hi” or “How are you?”. Ok stay single then.

Jesus. Most people can find a sexual relationship if they go after someone of similar attractiveness. If you struggle then you’re aiming too high. Just look around, many ugly couples everywhere. But ugly average men won’t be able to find a model girlfriend, even though it happens all the time in movies, remember that’s not real life.

Society is not supportive of women having children, that’s why. Would I like children? Yes. Am I going to have any? Probably not. It would mean working full time AND take main responsibility of a child. It would mean the very likely risk of ending up a single mother = even more work while still working a full time job, meanwhile the man can have fun every other weekend with the kid and pay a bit of money. Lol no thanks.

I wish “men” like this would do us all a favour and stay away from real women and focus all their attention on “acting out his fantasies…. On screen”. Sounds like such a worthwhile pursuit, something he can proudly look back at when he’s on his deathbed, how he spent his life worthwhile exploring all these meaningful fantasies (on screen).

It’s not true at all. In real life women any age seem to have no problem attracting men. Of course our main problem is that most of them suck but it doesn’t really matter if you’re 20 or 50, they still suck but they are still interested.

Very good points! Never thought about it like that. Women tend to find men in their natural state attractive, plus points for working out/bigger muscles yes, but that’s more a trait that has something to do with us wanting someone strong, that looks like he’s a hard worker and doesn’t just sit on his ass all day. Whereas the things men like in women are completely unnatural. They want us to look like children with boobs. Not too much makeup, but natural makeup that makes you look younger, and no…

Hmmm don’t agree. I want a tall man with a nice 🍆. That’s not something they can really become either. I have tried dating successful men but if I feel no attraction what’s the point. Better to be independent and successful myself and then date someone I find attractive. The women who go for the unattractive successful men are probably just faking the attraction to get the lifestyle/money. I know you say “generally” but I don’t think I’m alone. I think almost all women have a sad story like this, some a lot worse than others of course, and then average men cannot even acknowledge how big the issue is just because they haven’t done anything bad themselves, they just cannot comprehend how large the issue is, or even worse they start victim blaming.

Yes, but usually women get hurt by men they already know. It’s hard to tell who will turn into a monster. It’s better to ask if you’re unsure. But also I don’t mean dominant in that sense where a safe word would be necessary. Just that I would expect him to initiate something sexual, nothing crazy or anything, and then I think it would be pretty clear if I’m into it or not, either by moving away/saying no etc. What you are talking about, having a safe word, sounds more like some kind of mild bds…

And how exactly are we to know that someone like you mean us no harm? It’s impossible to tell…. I’ve had the “nicest”, usually calm, guys become aggressive with me. It’s really impossible to tell. Also a man can be masculine and dominant without forcing a woman to do anything she doesn’t want to do. It’s not that hard to tell if she’s into it even if she’s shy or submissive.

I know right. Even “guys” which is unfortunately normal even in a work environment. Please just stop. Just imagine the fuss men would make if we started calling mixed gendered groups “ladies”. Well I bet many women feel offended too, we are just too nice to say anything, or even worse: we have been conditioned into thinking it’s normal and ok.

I think it’s very offensive when people refer to women as “guys”, “dudes”, “bros” etc. They get super offended and only use “gals”, “ladies” etc in a derogatory way about each other. We should be offended too when referred to in a masculine way!! This is yet another way they assert their dominance and supposed superiority over women. Being one of the guys = good. Being one of the ladies = bad. Lol, it should be the other way around.

True. Unfortunately women have had to be like men to gain any power in patriarchal society. Many women politicians, for instance, have to act harder and more “masculine” than men in order to gain power. Luckily, I see how it has started to change in recent years and how some women have been able to gain power while still holding on to more feminine values. It’s also interesting to see how many countries with female leaders, and more compassionate male leaders, have handled the corona crisis bett…

Hmm personally I like sex often. I think that’s one of those things where it’s important you are compatible with your partner and a different discussion altogether. Having dated someone borderline asexual who showered me with attention and everything else except actual sex (except maybe a few times a month), that can be soul crushing and confusing too. I hate how this post makes it sound like it’s a man versus woman thing. It can be the other way around too, especially with how things are going,…

That is not comparable at all. Cooking and cleaning are extra hours of LABOUR in a woman’s life. If she also works full time this is an unreasonable expectation. Whereas the things a woman want, quality time and nice dates, are what a relationship is all about. Spending time together! However, I would more than gladly cook and clean if the man is the only one working and paying the house ;)
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/21 06:44 AM
11

That’s very true. However, it’s sad that some of us have to say no simply because men and patriarchal society suck. It’s just not possible to work a full time job and take care of a child alone without killing yourself in the process, and we have to expect that being a single mother is likely to be the end result (even if you stay in your relationship the man is unlikely to pull his weight and you will still be a single mother). Society needs to change to make it possible for women to be both in…

Most men hate women. They see no value in us other than sex. Hard truth I’ve learned from my male “friends”, every single one had other motivations than friendship, only pretending to be my friend, sometimes for years, only to become aggressive and angry that I was “leading them on”. Oh yes, of course, I’m nice to you and treating you as a friend which somehow gives you the right to a relationship some day in the future. Men can never be true friends. They simply don’t like us.

As someone living this single life, not quite single but living alone and having no children, I often get anxious wondering if I’m making the right decision. I’m nervous I will regret not having children. On the other hand, it’s just way too risky for a woman to have children nowadays. Except for a tiny minority who managed to find a good, trustworthy guy that pulls his weight.

Unfortunately true. Makes me so angry… If I hear another small dicked idiot put down a woman for being a few pounds overweight all the small limp dick jokes are coming out. I was treated much worse in my 20s. The guys I meet now in my 30s are better, not exactly great or anything but at least they are not mean and most are looking for serious relationships rather than just sex.

I have had men in their 70s flirt with me. First you think they are just being talkative and friendly because you can’t even imagine someone being this disillusioned. And no, it’s not funny or cute even if they are not entirely serious. It’s gross.

It’s so disgusting. Also, the recent story about a dark web pedophile ring with 400,000 members (!) and I’m guessing they are all men and perhaps a few weak women being used and manipulated by men into participating in this sick scheme.

I would just like to meet a guy who has a stable job (ANY job), is nice to me, that doesn’t smell, healthy weight and is ok-ish in bed. Well apparently that’s too much to ask for because I’ve never met anyone who ticked all boxes 🤷‍♀️ I’m pretty sure I tick those boxes myself and it’s not exactly high expectations so why is it so difficult to meet someone who is similar to myself.

This kind of propaganda is bad for everyone including LVM who cry and complain about being forever single because they only ask out women who are younger and way more attractive than themselves. Find someone your own age and as sloppy as yourself!

I have zero sympathy for these guys. If you’re not doing anything intimate with a woman guess what she’s just a friend. It’s not rocket science. I don’t know. Is it really that different from a guy working out in the gym in an attempt to look more masculine and attractive. They do it also to look good in the company of other men. Yes perhaps the patriarchy as you say have decided what is attractive in women. But women have also dictated what is attractive in men. If we all started liking guys with makeup I bet many of them would start wearing it. Of course it shouldn’t have any negative consequences in a workplace if someone doesn’t wear…
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/05/21 08:50 PM

We all want to present the best version of ourselves. We wear clothes that we feel is flattering on us, and for some women makeup is part of the look. It’s not for men in particular but about how you present yourself to other people in general. For instance I always wear make up when we have zoom meetings at work although we are all women.

“Experienced” in the past tense ;) I fight the fight now. But that’s my point exactly, why do women have to fight just to have equal rights. It’s the same for people of colour experiencing discrimination. Why do we all have to fight so damn hard just to have the same rights as the white man.

I do not believe it’s an “equal” amount of issues. Men have issues too sure, but it’s not comparable. All in all women are much more disadvantaged. Lower salaries for the same work. No or very little support in being a single mother. Considered the default parent often leading to giving up on career goals. Violence and sexual violence from men against women is a huge issue (men might experience violence too but from other men and only very rarely from women). Constant debates about women’s right…

This happens the other way around too. Many guys nowadays suffer from ED, low testosterone and porn addiction that makes them less interested in sex. If sex drives aren’t matched it’s a big issue and it’s definitely ok to break up with someone over that.

This is more the case with men though. I know of many overweight, unattractive men who seriously think they have a chance with 10 year younger attractive women. Surprise, surprise they don’t, and then they ask why they are forever single. Lol. It’s just logical, if you’re single and find it hard to attract someone then you’re aiming for the wrong people. Applies to both genders of course.
