I enjoy the more artsy girls. I enjoy the bubbly and quirky personalty. They are also cute and down to earth. Passion for their work is a big turn on because they are generally positive people.

I am in a similar situation. I wouldnt text her a lot to seem needy, but definitaly touch base around holidays such as christmas, or new years plans. You are of course an awesome person with a lot of things going on but you are squeezing in time for her.

My favorite opener of the moment. I actually picked this one up watching another guy while i was getting a drink at a crowded bar. See cute girl by the bar. Ask her if she could order a drink for you(the bar is very crowded). Of course you give her money for it. There you have an initial conversation. Not creepy at all for those worried about this. Has worked very well for me. Used this last week with good success.

What do they have to gain or really lose by lying? OH MAN I AM COOL ON THE INTERNET? If they want to live that elaborate web of lies, they clearly need some sort of validation.

We had to do this in a team software class...everyone built large structures. We did plan, tested smaller iterations and assuming the smaller worked the larger would. But as he says engineers != best

Make small goals. Take the task in bits. Goal 1: Talk to some girls on the street. Goal 2: get a phone number goal 3 : get a followup. goal 4: ????? goal 5: Profit

Are you using something incredibly cheesy? If so what do you expect. Could use anything like hello hows it im going, im civilengineer. Or ask a question of sorts(so many things posted about this). What are you trying to fool them of? That you are confident? Not interested in them?

I go to a tech school also and know how this goes man. A joke at our school is "girls are like parking spots: all the good ones are taken, getting pulled out of, or handicapped". The keys i found was getting involved in on campus clubs, being sociable in general with people, going out to the college bars around you. Friends of friends are big in finding single women. Also going out to house parties with friends can turn up some good results. Always different crowds mixing together. I think your …

Girls ENJOY dancing in groups. This is also a easy way for them to deal with creeps. They get hit on all the time in clubs. So dont expect to them to go after you (Yes, there are exceptions). The key thing i see a lot of AFC is just stand behind/in proximity of girls and expect something to happen.A key example for myself from last night is these two AFC were standing next to this group of 3 pretty cute girls, but doing nothing. I made eye contact with one of them smiled, she smiled back and i w…

I have run into the same issue just interning(not graduated yet) in a different state. Acquiring that new circle of friends to go out with. It has taken awhile but i am now at the point where i am comfortable. I try to go out friday/sat. There defiantly is a huge transition. To be honest though then when i went back to visit my college the moves/talk I have been using on the internship did not work so well(when it did on the internship). Different crowds.

This may not be the best place for this. But start doing things OUTSIDE your apartment such as going to the gym, maybe take a random class at your community college, or ymca etc. Just find a hobby outside of your apartment, and you may find the outside world to be pretty awesome.

B. Is an excuse. Clear your head, maybe a drink or two and just go for it. Or maybe you just need a confidence boost? Try talking to girls you dont want to close. This can help you get out of your "funk". Also change up where you go find a new venue etc.

I am also trying to figure this out. Opening is fine for me, conversation is fine. I feel if i could figure this out would help a ton.

Think of what you would do in real life. Its like you told a joke and then someone sort of just laugh then went quiet? what do you do? You could continue on with what you were talking about...or awkwardly walk away from the person. This is the same sort of thing when people answer yes/no to questions which kill conversations in real life. Maybe there is more of a science to this, but thats my take on it.

Im not amazing at this either while this might not be ideal it works for me. Think of things people have in common. For example might talk about other bars they have checked out in the area or ask them where they work. Usually you can find something in those initial questions to keep a good conversation. I find personally if i go in with a 100% plan i fail miserably because I over think it. You can bend and flow easier to the conversation and her interests. Just my two cents. Your mileage may va…
