My mom could have written this about my Dad and my 2 younger brothers. They all live in the same city still and whenever I talk to her she tells me stories about how they never pick up after themselves (they are 28 and 25), let their dogs shit in the backyard and don’t pick it up, let their dogs fight in the house, come over to just to eat a meal and take leftovers and not stay to socialize after dinner, etc. My mom did my middle brothers laundry, cooked all of his meals up, and paid some of his…

I met someone at my job and he’d been having trouble figuring out what to do for a first date so I suggested doing dinner. I was annoyed at that point that he couldn’t come up with a date idea. Then he asked me what I was craving and I said sushi. He says he’s actually a very picky eater and doesn’t eat sushi. Okay dude YOU PICK THE DATE. Obviously I never went out with him!

YES. I remember my friends Dad used to hit on me when I was 16 and try to touch the small of my back and always comment on how beautiful I was... it was beyond creepy and my parents never took it seriously.

I realize 2nd guy is really just saying what all men SHOULD do. Not necessarily a king but made for an easier title 😅

Sounds amazing but I wouldn’t call him HV until at least 3-4 months in! Men can fake it for a while. But I do hope he’s the real deal!

I’m so sorry, what a horrible experience. I had a guy the first time do the same ramming thing and not giving a fuck if I felt good- to the point where I asked him several times to stop because I was in pain and pretty sure I was bleeding. He actually had the audacity to say “just let me get my nut” to my face. At least he was honest?? These men are less than garbage

This was posted before and determined to be satire... making fun of that big account that makes elaborate meals for her BF. Funny!

Yea, I was thinking dump just because she thinks it COULD be him. Nobody should be with a man they think is capable of this.

Left a toxic 2 month situationship (he was cheating and telling me we were exclusive) in August. I chose to ignore the red flags- never again. Found FDS right after and changed my mindset. Started a gut healing cleanse/elimination diet, herbal teas, no drinking, acupuncture, and working on my side business, and just deleted my dating apps 💖

I made this mistake once a few years ago. It ended HORRIBLY. I blocked him and learned my damn lesson.

Oh my gosh you are right! I didn’t even realize this! Edit: also just realized they first went viral in a tik tok with her yelling at him because she cooked him every meal and did everything for the baby that day and he told her she “could have been nicer” for a tik tok trend.

Not trying to be snarky at all just wondering.. do you think writing your ideal first date on your profile similar to the OP in that LVM will know how to masquerade as HVM with you? since they are being told what to do?

Do you still OLD? I'm back and forth on whether I should use it since I haven't had much luck with it in recent years. But it's quite hard to meet people during this pandemic! I'm good at eliminating obviously bad profiles and early red flags, but what I find is the LVM that act like HVM for about 2 months and then something goes wrong (that's most men though right?).

A guy misunderstood me the other day when I said I bought baby books for my friend who just had a baby. He told me "oh I was just telling my friend how those are very useful for people that don't have a lot of experience with kids" and I said what how? And he then sent me I kid you not PARAGRAPHS explaining to me why and how parenting books are helpful for parents. Ummmm I bought the books for the BABY to read someday... but thanks for teaching me what books are for??

Agghhh! We need a Denver FDS meet up
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy20/09/20 04:34 PM

Side note trying to date in Denver has been an absolute shit show. There's an abundance of LVM who come here to snowboard and leave their relationships behind. Eye. Roll.

Needed to read this today! Was wondering if anyone else has been applying FDS mindset to friendships too. My friends have been flakey, using me to unload emotionally, unresponsive and all around shitty. Time to take a step back!

Totally. I also tend to think too much about how many amazing women there are out there that will do whatever he wants meanwhile I'm digging through the dumpsters for some salvageable scraps to call a man

The handbook says to wait 2- ideally 3 months before sleeping with any man. He definitely sounds like all he's thinking about is sex now :/

I was offered a park date where he “brings the drinks” and I told him no thank you I don’t do park dates esp on the first date and I won’t be drinking. He said thank you for letting me know and asked would I like to do dinner, a museum, or a drive in movie. I chose dinner and (only because I’m doing a cleanse/different diet atm) I suggested a restaurant that is not fancy but mid-level. He decided to come back at me with a cheaper $9-10 meal place. Blocked!!

Why does this matter? He still died of cancer and still went through having the illness through the height of his career which is all anybody is trying to say here.

Wow. Thank you so much for taking the time to write that out. I'm currently trying a lot of those out with my therapist already. Wanted to get someone else's perspective and I find it really useful to be able to relate to people a bit. Thanks again!

What are some tips you have for fixing that tendency to go into an unnecessary downward tailspin? Therapy? Just faking it till you make it? Curious because I have that problem too sometimes.
