If all she gets is the furniture then be joyful. Realistically, talk to a lawyer so you get your value in the stuff she takes at settlement.

I have as well. I've been told I'm self-centered for doing this. I'm not self-centered, I'm self-contained.

My experience tells me that she could not care less about your forgiveness. However writing it could help you forgive yourself. Burn it or keep it but never send it.

Mediators are not impartial. If a mediator thinks they can get more business from a specific lawyer/firm they will lean towards that lawyers/firm's clients during mediations. Solution: Find your own mediator.

This is a dramatic type of abuse but focusing only on this makes it seem rare. No one really thinks about lifelong damage that never appears in a police report. Examples are easy to find: get the stories where she tells him: You deserved it.

Same thing happened to my brother. His ex admitted she was abusive and had changed. She didn't. Didn't even seem to remember admitting anything.

You could ask your ex. Maybe she's happy with less than 100% or does see a positive relationship there. Granted a small chance but it's the only one I see.

How about this. One gets one property, the other gets the other. Adjust other money to compensate for the current loss. Each sells whenever they like. Or Put both into an LLC (or whatever is legal) you both own. You both decided when to sell the properties.

The judge should give you a break since your income is down and it's not your fault. So get a lawyer to get the best break you can.

This is exactly what you're supposed to do. Exercise daily. What exercises you do are up to you. What is great about your routine is it's portable. No gym, no weights, no problem.

S would hit on her out of the blue and if she was with me at that moment I became completely invisible to her. She told me that S was a very important person in his life and that I just began knowing her and that I had to understand my place. we catch up on a lot of stuff for about an house. Freudian slip there? she is really sorry for always hurting me, leading me on and that not choosing me as a partner is one of the biggest regrets of her life. Like she said, understand your place. Her regret…
