The issue is when you’re a girl , you get approach 24/7 at the gym so it become irritating specially when you want to work out . Met some girls from my gym outside at the club , told me their stories and the amount of guys trying to hit on them.

Why movies ? I think it’s the worst place for a date even if you want something serious or just bang. If you live alone , just invite her to watch a movie and have few drinks , she will get it .

Dude I Have been there , specially I live in a small city , and I work in a popular place and I’m the only guy there so most of the city knows my story even they don’t know know me personally. I would say you would find out if she was friendly or actually interested, also if she has already plans , you could think she is rejecting you to meet up . It’s more safe , but you have nothing to lose , worst escenario she says no , and you move on .

There is nothing wrong but there is always ignorant people who would judge you before getting to know you . Probably would be better to open about it after they get to know better ? Also depends where you live , different countries has different mentality regarding that . I live in a city that has pretty a lot of refuges , have friends who are and I’m an immigrant.
