Ok, but we're talking about the US. Are we now? All I said was circumcision is a bad example. I think you were the first one to mention the US specifically. Can you accept that cutting on a person's genitals without their consent to get them to stop masterbating is maybe not a great thing? I'm not even sure who you're arguing with here. I never once stated any opinion on circumcision one way or the other. Literally all I said was that it's a bad example.

No I'm not. I'm not picking apart the original post so I can debate it, I only said it's a bad example. Most of his post is about addressing the fact that there are very serious issues that men face, simply because we are men, that go almost entirely ignored by so many people because gender roles are taken as Gospel. My reply had nothing to do with this or the rest of the post.

Circumcision is a bad example, because female circumcision definitely looks like it's a lot worse than male circumcision. Also male circumcision is being done less and less these days. The fight against it isn't as loud, but it is there.

What? 50 years ago the idea was still around that women should find fulfillment in homemaking and childbearing. Ever heard of the Feminist Mystique? Wife abuse was almost expected 50 years ago. This is literally an ad from 1971 that plays on domestic abuse. Woman definitely had it worse 50 years ago. The "men have it worse" argument wasn't even around.
