I'm the opposite end of the spectrum. 6'4" 277lbs...and far from lean. I'm built like WWE superstar Big E. I've been big all my life, but as a kid into my teens...it was obese big. When I hit 17 I decided I wanted to change my fortunes and follow my father's footsteps into the USMC. I ended up dropping 40lbs by my 18th and enlisted. In bootcamp I dumped another 23lbs and was a solid 226lbs when I deployed in 01. In my 11 years in the corps I hovered between 218-226lbs until I got hurt. Came home…

Similar story: 3 years ago I'm at a store called the Nutbox here in NYC. They were getting a delivery from Nuts.com, which I surmise is one of their suppliers. It's really not that hard. You don't even have to be ripped. I powerlift, so while I don't have a six pack, I do have immense muscle mass. Still have a gut, cuz I love my barbeque, but I'm a human wall. When I walk around the city in a tank top, women look at me like a piece of meat. I don't watch calories, I pack in protein and clean carbs and lift heavy. That's it. Simply work on being in shape. The rest does itself.
